Posted: 19 Oct 2019 08:42 PM PDT This is my first real attempt at a melee build at all, as I've always leveled with caster/summoner. For this build, leveling and getting into maps was easy, but I did a few maps so far and the damage seems to have dropped off kinda dramatically. Nothing is really dying as fast as when I was leveling the build. Are there any weapon/gear/tree upgrades I could do to make this build any better? [link] [comments]  |
| Beginner friendly chaos witch? (Probably ED/Contagion) Posted: 20 Oct 2019 02:01 AM PDT A friend of mine who's never played any arpgs before just picked up PoE last night. We played through most of act one and she loved it so far. She rolled a witch, and after I told her about how you kind of have to set a target ability and optimise for that from the get-go, she seemed to want to make some sort of chaos build with contagion and essence drain. I'm trying to ease her into all the intricate systems of the game as well as possible, while looking out so she doesn't make a complete dud of a character the first time around. The problem is that I've only really played melee builds myself, so I'm woefully out of my depth with how to actually build for ED/Contagion (otherwise I'd have at least thrown together a mock up in PoB). So I turn to Reddit hoping for some tips for beginner friendly witch builds. It doesn't need to deal a million shaper dps, or be utterly unkillable and farm T16 maps at lightning speed. It just needs to get her comfortably through the story acts and into maps so she gets a good taste for the game and doesn't just bounce off it once the damage ramps up in act six. Keep in mind that she has zero currency at the moment. So, while chase items are cool and all, it'd be nice to get by on mostly rolling reasonable self-found rares. Thus the limited demands of the build: clear campaign, get into maps without running into a brick wall. TL;DR [link] [comments]  |

| Weird Stuff I've been muted for Posted: 19 Oct 2019 10:29 PM PDT so, today was the 3rd time this has happened, I was muted from talking in global for bringing up the fact that I am in fact jewish, any time i mention the word "jew", or "jewish", in context of me, i get muted for an hour, or in the case of today, 2 hours. What the actual hell is this? Is GGG anti-semetic?? or have other people here been banned/muted for weird stuff as well? [link] [comments]  |
