    The game is awesome but I feel 1-shot hits mechanics should be removed or toned down a bit

    I am loving the game and the league is going strong for me. Level 90, grinding through T14-T16 with ease (and fun). I'm sporting a Multistrike Juggernaut build and so far I rarely die, unless I don't pay attention and/or I get nasty map mods (damage reflect is out of question, of course). 6K health, 10 endurance charges, 120K dps and I still use a 5L chest (6L is way too expensive). My character gear/build is here (Cinghialo).

    What I still don't get is this: how do I avoid 1-hit deaths?. I would love to learn what killed me and how it killed me. Was it chaos? Was it fire? Was it bleeding? How can I know that?

    I honestly don't get the mechanics/logics behind it. I just finished a T16 yellow map and I melted content like a hot knife in the butter. The map boss went down very easily too. Overall, my health globe rarely moves at all (having 10 endurance charges and lots of other tanky stuff really makes the difference). I'm res-capped too, of course.

    Right after clearing the map (and the final boss) I summoned the Metamorph, as I always do. As soon as it appeared on the screen I died. I had everything up (charges, molten shell, flask) and yet I didn't even see what happened. I can't tell you the name because it was just a "Metamorph" so I can't go online and learn more about it. Even if it was a Chaos-based damage I could at least mitigate it with 10 charges up, it shouldn't have melted 6K health in 0 seconds.

    How do you guys deal with these kind of situations? I'd like to go back and try again but wasting 10% xp at level 90 is just too much. The complete lack of some kind of "combat log" makes it even worse. You can't "learn from your mistakes" or at least get a general idea of what was the death cause.

    Don't be like me. If you roll a sextant mod "Area contains [Master]", and then proceed to do an atlas mission for a separate master, the sextant master does not appear and you waste a charge on the sextant.

    Hi internet friends. My husband is obsessed with this game and I wanted to make him a valentine's day card with a reference to it, instead of buying a card like usual.     I was really happy with how this build turned out and thought some people might be interested in what Barrage has done for Power Siphon and wanders in general at high investment. Wanders have not been known for good single target damage for a long time, but it is now possible to get to shaper-deleting levels of damage. Power Siphon is maybe the best candidate in the game for Barrage with its innate 8 additional projectiles at level 21 and another 2 from helm enchant. Mathil shed some light on this recently but here is a very different version with a much higher budget.

    Assassin, Pathfinder and Raider all seem like decent options for this type of setup, but I found I didn't really need the flask sustain of PF with the speed the character plays at, and Assassin just offered too much crit that it easily went over 100%, wasting a lot of it. Dispite that I still decided to invest heavily into power charge nodes and an extra +1 on helm, due to power siphon innately scaling with more charges it still seemed to be worth it even on a raider, comfortably reaching 99.5% crit chance.

    Path of Building doesn't properly calculate Barrage yet, it ignores it and treats it as a 5L, but if done manually its coming out at something like 22M Shaper DPS.

    I put an 88% Monster Life Phoenix map in at the end of the video to show how well it clears as well as bosses with a pseudo 5L Vaal Power Siphon setup that's also extremely effective against Legions.

    Unfortunately I didn't get a Sirus in the video, (I was kind of in a rush to put a video up before I step away from PoE for the weekend) but I think hes mostly easier than Uber Elder anyway, and definitely has far less life, some of these bosses are better examples than he is. Also, everything in the video was done at Awakener level 8.

    Lore Question - Why are Sin and Innocence missing from Karui Shores? Are they still in Oriath??

    I noticed this today when I finally got around to doing some Pantheon stuff. I had to go to one of the Act towns to talk to sin after filling up a divine vessel with boss essence.
