| Posted: 24 Mar 2020 10:51 PM PDT Using Fast AF's Bomberman DeadEye as a base, I've combined his original build with ideas from several other versions as well as my own, and paired it with a Quill Rain for utter explosive insanity (because Explosive Arrow damage scales off the explosion more than the actual hit). 6-link Quill Rains and the Signal Fire quiver are also inexpensive enough to run two sets at the same time - one for clear and one for bosses (simply hitting X to swap between them on the fly). The gist of the build is to run around machine gunning a spray of arrows into mobs, which explode immediately, and on bosses switching to the Barrage linked version of EA, debuffing them with Rain of Arrows + curses, and then nailing them with a rapid stream of arrows that explode for massive combined fire damage. I run 3 auras - Anger, Precision, and Herald of Ash. The build is not there yet, and I've only just gotten to red maps, but it's a hell of a lot of fun. Machine gunning Exploding Arrows, despite the 20 arrow limit and the perplexing limitations GGG has placed on Ignite compared to other ailments, is a great playstyle and there are some very cool item synergies possible. I'm hoping to find more. Would love comment, insight, and suggestions to further improve the build - particularly the damage. I have a strong feeling there is a nutty synergy here that is going to produce ridiculous damage, but I'm pretty new to this and haven't quite found it yet (though so far the damage output, even against Elemental Resistant bosses who admittedly can take a while to nickel and dime down, is ok due to the frankly ridiculous attack speed). The build is going to need something more to make it to the endgame, though it's fantastic for fast mapping. Maybe someone else has the knowledge and skill to find the hidden item/skill/ability combo I'm missing. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Siege or Royal Axe for Max Block Pure Bleed Lacerate Gladiator? Posted: 25 Mar 2020 01:41 AM PDT I'm running a pure bleed (no impale) lacerate gladiator using axe/shield for max block. I'm wondering for endgame gear, is it better to use Siege Axe or Royal Axe? Siege Axe has the higher attack speed and would make gameplay a lot smoother, but is the damage good enough for tough boss fights? I noticed Steel's SSFHC build uses Siege Axe but he also has 4L Vaal Double Strike to supplement single target which I don't want to do. Damage on Royal Axe is better but not sure how clunky it will be compared to using Siege. [link] [comments]  | ||

I recently bought some pretty cheap gear for my char (excluding my gloves and chest, which were slightly more expensive) but I want to upgrade pretty heavily to get into red maps. I've been following Ziz's build guide (PoB) very loosely, but he doesn't have too much to help me decide what to do next; in the starter gear section he has a phys bow that costs multiple exalts when I search for a similar one on the trade site. Here's my profile and my PoB. So what should I start off by upgrading? I know that everything needs upgrading and that I only have a 5l bow with shit gems but I want to prioritize some damage and survivability first and foremost. I have about 2.2ex right now, but I was thinking of farming either delve, blighted maps, or low-level delirium content for some more currency. [link] [comments]  | ||

| I have a question about a possible 'Ignite' interaction. Posted: 25 Mar 2020 02:43 AM PDT I'm still fairly new to the game and am currently building a chieftan. I have taken the Tasalio, Cleansing Water node in the ascendancy section which makes you unaffected by ignite and 100% fire resistance. I also picked up Mokou's embrace, a unique ring, that gives you a 25% chance to be ignited and you gain +20% cast & attack speed whilst ignited. There is a note in the ascendancy chart that states: "debuffs you are unaffected by can still be placed on you but will not actually apply their effect" I'm confused by this. Does this mean that I can be ignited but will not get the benefits, or that I can be ignited and I'll get the benefits from the ring without the side effects of the ignite? TL:DR Can I use Mokou's embrace with Cleansing Water in the Chieftan ascendancy chart to offset the negatives of ignite, while gaining the benefits offered by the ring? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 25 Mar 2020 02:23 AM PDT A rough base line: 5k7 eHP, a lotta Fortify effect, 7k armour and 2k Molten Shell, poison immunity, overleech, 77/76/76/75 resistances. 700k attack DPS and 350k storm DPS with 4 storms, so 2.1 mil Shaper sustained DPS. I still feel like I die too often, can't clear Delirium comfortably and it's really frustrating not knowing where to fix them. I tried looking up similar setups on poe.ninja but I'm still lost. Posted: 24 Mar 2020 03:04 PM PDT This is what my character looks like right now, my plan is to get 4 medium cluster jewels with the increased damage with heralds active notable and move some points there. I feel like the damage isn't bad but seeing what some Poet's Pen builds are doing has got me wanting to switch. Currently sitting at 3.2k hp and while i'm not dying all that much due to a fairly decent dps, it is still troublesome to the point of me being at 84 for quite a long time now. Im not an insane build marker and when i have something unclear or not mentioned I mostly broke things. I have 100 ex budget for IT.
