    (HC) My friend killed in his hideout, during a 15ex trade. Warning to all HC players

    The Plaguemaw prophecy 3 is able to spawn minions in your hideout who will attack you. It's being exploited by a select few in HC and just killed my buddy whilst he was trading.

    I would just like to send a warning to all hardcore players. Be extremely careful when trading in high volumes on a low-level character in your hideout, until this has been fixed!!!

    I dont know if GGG are still on their holidays, but we really need to get an official statement on the state of the bug-fixes...

    As of right now, it simply seems like we are left in the dark, regarding some very crucial bug fixes in Betrayal league. I know some of them was recently discovered, but some have also been out there for ages:

    • PKing in hideouts
    • Aisling Research giving the same veiled mods over and over again
    • Players losing an incursion if they find another Alva-location in the map, while it's open.
    • Players not able to upgrade the same room twice in a map (all three incursions never choose the same room)

    These are just some of the ones at the top of my head, feel free to add some to the list. I just hope GGG would atleast say that they are working on fixing them, cause i kinda feel like we have been left in the dark.

    And i am not saying i hate GGG or anything like that, i truly think they are the best game developers out there. Period. I don't point out the faults in order to bash GGG, but rather to let them know, that we just really want some statements regarding the matter

    Is it time to unshackle Flicker Strike?

    I've been playing Path of Exile consistently since late 2012 (closed beta days) and one gem that really stuck out to me at the time was Flicker Strike. It was a pretty good attack skill, but due to the server's infrastructure, spamming teleport attacks in rapid succession had a tendency to cause issues for the game. It only took a few updates before the skill had to be restricted to a cooldown and a frenzy charge bypass.

    Seeing as there has been a number of updates over the ages that improved server stability, resulting in comparatively younger mechanics being unshackled such as CoC, plus newish skills such as Consecrated Path coming out, I'm reminded of Flicker Strike. I think it would be nice to reconsider removing the cooldown limitation it was given, opening it up to more build options.

    If balance is an issue, it could be given the "can't be supported by multistrike".

    Solved my Exception Error Crashing this league (Memory Leaks)

    This patch I was having lots of issues with exception error crashes. I tried many things, but the solution came while trying other games and finding that I was having a similar issue. The Issue Was My Page Filing Was OFF . I have 16gb of ram, and I think I watched some win 10 optimization guide a few months ago, and I am pretty sure the advice given was to turn off page filing because it takes up SSD space and I would have enough ram.

    Turns out this was not the case for me at all, and further research indicates that most people would only recommend turning off page filing if you have 32gb of ram. It instantly solved all my crashes and memory leaks in all games I was playing. Really obvious solution when you think about it, but in case you disabled yours like mine, try turning it back on.

    I set mine to the recommended amount by windows. Many guides suggest high ratios like 1.5 - 2 x your total ram, but others have suggested to just have a couple of gigs like windows recommends. Feel free to try what works for you.
