    Any skill that can have it's animation cancelled will not work whilst holding down move only, this started occuring after the latest patch approximately 1 hour ago.

    Hey Exiles and PoE community,

    Words can't express how thankful I am that you all liked the rough draft of my Slayer Meta parody song. For years I have wanted to make music and share it as a gift for people all around the world. Sound has helped me a lot with my life struggles and finding happiness, so I hope that I can give that back to you all. Path of Exile actually helped pull me out of a deep depression, so it's important to me that I combine the two.

    The Slayer Meta song was a funny one, this one is more of the "real deal."

    It's about our good friend Dominus and it's called "The Touch of God." The stream clip is a little scuffed, as I'm taking meetings in LA currently and not at my home studio right now, but the audio is 100% and hopefully that's all that matters. If everything goes well, should have the full version on Spotify and all those places within 4 weeks. However my mentor does always say, "Man makes plans, God laughs."

    I knew someday Harbinger Challenge Crown Attachment would have a purpose

    I know not many people play bow currently but it is really annoying that your movement skill goes off but since its not an instant animation (like every other fucking movement skill in the game) you canel your animation while blink arrow goes on cool down. Flame dash doesnt have this issue.

    So right now im playing EQ and i hit very slow, and so often i cancel my own attacks by simply walking.

    Be good if there was a setting to disable it from cancelling with walk, but still be able to cancel with movement skills.

    Let us send our energy to the GGG team working tirelessly to squish bugs and provide a great league. What has been delivered already is amazing but the league has a bit more to go to be as polished as past leagues. Just know GGG us bug reporting is just that. We know it takes time to fix everything and that some times when you patch these new systems new bugs can arise. I hope I can speak for the rest of r/pathofexile when I say, take our energy and we will do everything we can to be patient.

    What is the point of rotating buffs?

    With the new Ngahamu node on the Chieftain ascendancy, I've got to ask: how are we supposed to use rotating buffs? Obviously GGG has made the choice not to give Chieftain a permanent 40% more damage bonus, but instead a 4 second 100% more damage one. Why?

    We can't time it. There are no indicators that the buff is on. Literally the only way to tell whether you'll be doing 140k or just 100k is to look are your tooltip. So that means we have no way to efficiently use this buff, we just have to do with the "Will I one shot this mob pack? Guess not! And this one? What about this boss? If I go in right now will I do my full damage?"

    At the very bare least, minimum, give us an icon in our buff bar but even that wouldn't be sufficient. We need a sound, graphics, I don't know, something that tells us when we can use damage to the best of its utility (maybe disable this in HOs).

    List of On-Kill effects that do not work for legion mobs

    Can we get a list of on kill effects that some how don't work for legion mobs that ARE NOT corpse effects in the hopes that GGG will address them? It seems like when the league was pitched they indicated on kill effects would work in a lot of cases but that they could control it on an individual level to help mitigate some potential abuse cases. However, it seems like the majority of them do not work but some skills have been given preferential treatment (looking at you contagion) making them much more desirable on the whole for the league. Sorry for the short list, but I have only played slayer thus far so my experience is limited. I'll continue to update the list with what get's posted in the comments.  

     

    Slayer - Headsman - More damage on recently killed  

    Slayer - Bane of Legends - Movement speed on enemy killed  

    Slayer - Bane of Legends - Attack speed on rare or unique enemy killed (untested by myself but if it's like the move speed it also doesn't work)  

    Slayer - Impact - Area of effect per enemy killed  

    Gladiator - Arena Challenger - does not grant challenger charge on kill in stand stance - u/NiddFratyris  

    Gladiator - Gratuitous Violence - states enemies explode "on kill" similar to Herald of Ice which works - u/tomblifter  

    Pathfinder - Nature's Reprisal - does not proliferate poison on kill - u/MaybeMelissa  

    Trickster - Swift Killer - does not grant any charges on kill - u/kylegetsspam  

    Trickster - Patient Reaper - does not increase recovery on kill - u/Zimzams123  

    Occultist - Profane Bloom - Killed enemies do not explode on kill - u/kouutsu  

    Cold Snap - does not grant frenzy charges on kill - u/wrathyy

    Chalk this up as complaining, I don't know, whatever you want. I just want to discuss how things have changed.

    I'm all for challenge, I'm all for interesting mechanics and having to pay some attention. But with every mob in the game having their damage tuned upwards exponentially, it seems like GGG is doubling- or tripling-down on the old concept that you are either alive, or you're dead, and there is no in between. Every single magic, rare, or elite enemy in this game does more than your entire Health Bar, ES, and MOM combined. There is no surviving a hit, there is only "don't get hit".

    Which, sure, spam that at people I get it. Don't get hit is how we fight Shaper and Elder and whatnot, but things have changed beyond that. I've noticed now that every enemy in a given pack spams spells now. In the past, you'd get some spells going off but it wasn't a big deal because you had defensive layers so most of those hits didn't get through and were weak. But now you open a door and instantly have two dozen ice spears launching at you. You get near a pack and the entire cramped room is filled with hundreds of bouncing Spark spiders. And because of the accuracy buff, 90% of them hit. Ok, sure that's mob packs, let's be more careful around them.

    But when your Monolith stuff fills the arena with enemies that offscreen huge splash attacks and can track and target you without you knowing where they are, and those attacks one-shot you before their animation plays, things are getting a little annoying. "They have a wind-up!" I hear people saying, which is great if they're on screen, which they're probably not since we spend most of any fight spamming move skills now.

    I'm not trying to sound like I don't like the Legion mechanic. I really do, it's fun and I love the rewards. But this combat change and tuning every enemy so powerfully is kinda making it obvious that GGG doesn't know how to make things more interesting outside of just making every hit an instant death. That's not interesting, no one likes that.

    Am I crazy here? I don't think I am, but I don't see this being discussed at all.

    Would love a slot for each and every piece of currency like binding orbs, engineer orbs, and related shards as well, I don't know what that's not a thing yet. But, for starters, orbs of horizon would be nice.

    I was tempted to post this before the patch released but decided to hold my tongue and actually play it first. Now that I have, I can confirm, this is an issue.

    I'm all for the rare monster life buffs in the rest of the game, but incursion feels really rough now with the rare monster life buffs. Incursions on certain builds already felt really rough to clear, and its especially bad when a rare monster has the stone of passage. Going into reds, this problem has become even worse and more apparent.

    Either incursion needs to have the life buff reverted specifically for incursion, or the timer bonuses need to go up.

    EDIT: Also, if the life in incursions is going to be higher, please don't allow ghosts to spawn in there... Martyr is hella scary to get in there now.

    As a related note: Delve is sort of similar, but a lot more acceptable in comparison. I'm only in level 76 delves and still having problems with rares. When you got deep in delve, most of the issue was already that rares wouldn't die -- at least the rares of the monsters types specific to delve. The mobs from the base game (like bears) had so much less life than the mobs from delves -- for example, a rare spider taking 3 times as much damage to kill than a rare bear at the same depth with the same mods. At the very least though, the clear speed side of things isn't that much of an issue as it is with incursion -- but I don't think delve monsters needed the rare monster life buffs either.

    Basically: The base game needed the monster life buffs. Incursion (and Delve to a lesser extent) did not, and the buffs make Incursion feel really bad.

    At first i thought it was me and my clunky playstyle but it seems everything is wrong because of animation canceling.

    If you just tap the button and then wait for three attack animations and tap again everything works great but if you get used to "just hold the trigger until everything dies" you pretty much fucked up.

    It seems like multistrike with the button being held up cancels itself and basically perform only the first strike. That's why my attack speed feels horrible and second and third strikes seem to do the same damage as the first one.
