    Hi,

    Done the cyclone slayer and ed/cont meta but looking for something a bit different as not enjoying those playstyles as much.

    Also levelled up freezing totems but wasn't too keen on it.

    What's a good fairly fast build that can scale up to clear high maps?

    Have about 6ex to get started, not entirely sure on doing end game bosses but if it's viable then it's a nice 'to have'.

    Semi-Off-Meta Gladiator

    I just had a kid, so I'm slowing down the PoE. Only 1 build really completed this league.

    The general gist of the build is manipulating Gratuitous Violence from the Gladiator to get an explosion that kills an entire pack. And because we kill (white) packs in 1 leap slam, we are able to focus specifically on single target DPS, by using Vaal Double Strike. The build is also fairly tanky, not the tankiest I've ever done but he can definitely hold his own.

    **For EXPLOSIONS** : I use War Banner, Pride, and stacking Global Physical damage and generic %damage. I also wear a Carcass Jack to make the explosions bigger, this could potentially be swapped for something more tank oriented if you wanted to aim for more boss killing specifically.

    **For Single Target** : I use Vaal Double Strike, generally only popping it for a fat rare or map boss. PoB doesn't calculate this build's damage correctly, but we should be somewhere in the 1-2 million damage range for single target. Most map bosses drop within 2 seconds.

    **For Defenses** : I use a Glorious Vanity Timeless Jewel up near Resolute Technique, to change the node into Divine Flesh. Combined with Soul of Steel, we should have effective resistances *over 80%* along with 85% chaos resistance. For Physical mitigation, I am using a Transcendant Flesh near Utmost Might, giving me 13% phys reduction. 5 Endurance Charges, Flesh & Stone for Sand Stance, Outmatch & Outlast gives another 10% phys mitigation, and a 2 Vitality mod Watcher's Eye. Basalt Flask if we need any more phys mitigation. We keep 700+ regen and 1200 Life leech per second. Around 6100 Life.

    It's a little clunky on Legion, Rares don't instantly die from explosions so I have to run up and double strike them. However, if a bunch of rares are near each other, killing 1 of them will pop them all due to explosion (cool I guess?).Overall the build is pretty solid all around, fast, good boss damage, tanky, and not Cyclone... so I'm happy with it.

    Cyclone with great aoe?

    Theres so many cyclone build so i avoided it but i want to level ane play one for a while cause it looks fun.

    What are some more aoe focused ones that could also handle plenty of end game or all content?

    [3.7] ignite based trickster featuring eternity shroud! 3m shaper ignite

    Me and my friend theorycrafted a build together using the unique interaction between stacking a load of chaos damage via eternity shroud, conversion and multimodded sceptres, then using zerphis heart to allow our chaos damage to ignite and quickly threw this build together boasting a 3m dps ignite.     I'm trying to make my own build, an ED/Contagion Occultist, cause I'm a filthy hipster. It's heavily focused on the Queen of Chaos Lahkesis PoB https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1963181

    After looking at other guides and searching the wiki, I got some better ideas for budget items and end up with the PoB I'll post below. It loses a fair amount of DPS, but doesn't require a god bow, 2x lvl 4 Enlighten, Watcher's Eye, Headgear Enchants and a 6L Shavronne's. It does maybe 40% less DPS, but it's 10x cheaper in the end. It makes use of a 6L Headgear and more reservation reduction to allow a lvl 3 enlighten, while swapping mana regen and spider form for Zealotry, which is more DPS.

    But I'm quite new to the game, so maybe I'm doing something unreasonable with the build. There might be some problems that I haven't spotted, and/or better item choices that I didn't consider. Here are a few of my doubts:

    1. I only have 7k ES in the end. This seems really low to me, even though I'm running ES-heavy items. Is it enough? I could run a Cerberus + Shield setup instead then, but the DPS is cut in half. And tbh, that staff looks pretty dope and I don't have MTX. So I'd like to keep it. LOL
    2. Only 120 mana, but my ED + Contagion combo costs 121. The little regen in between is probably enough to make it castable, or so I hope, but I'm using my entire mana pool everytime I use those skills. Then I have to wait 3s for it to regen, I suppose? I'm at around 40 mana per second, and I think I don't have any other ways to restore it. Is this gonna be a problem, and if so, how can I fix it?
    3. I'll have to fill the STR and DEX requirements on top of getting to max res with very few rares. Not sure if it'd be doable on a budget. Maybe I'd have to drop the Mark of the Shaper ring?
    4. Very low casting speed. I'm guessing that'd be fine in this type of build?
    5. I don't really get how moving around would work. Very slow movement speed in the end, and with the low casting speed, idk how efficient it would be in the end. Should I just walk, use a certain movement skill, or what? The build originally recommended flame dash, but I'd rather not if possible. And how am I supposed to get Onslaught rolling?
    6. Is the overall DPS/ES enough to clear all of endgame, or will I have to upgrade the gear further?

    (I didn't really touch the rares and flasks from the original PoB btw, don't mind them too much.)

    Getting ready for Uber Elder and 5-way conflict, looking for guidance [PS4LSSF]

    Like the title says, I was thinking about possible upgrades/improvement when it comes to this character considering having a bit of a sentiment by being a league starter.

    So at this very moment I do switch things around here and there and have few things to usually switch around, namely:

    few support gems:

    • minion life if by any chance anything can kill the zombies,
    • melee phys, ele damage with attacks, spell totem for skellies/srs which I do have 20/21, innervate+es leech for
      swap on hexproof maps on gloves for extra sustain (also colors fit)

    flasks (rumi's concoction and ruby/topaz flask is usually chilling in my stash or inventory in case of shaper guardians
    etc.)

    active gems in form of: vaal purity of ice [shaper or elder fight, bummer I have to swap out discipline for that occassion), precision (had to supplement some mana regen so clarity stepped in instead), ele weakness for bosses (instead of enfeeble)

    Options and things to consider:

    - Bone elder helmet with minion life, minion damage and possibly immolate? Could be nice for SRS variant

    - Victario's Charity (dropping quiet a bit of ES for extra frenzy charge boost)

    - Some necromantic aegis shenanigans?

    - 6L, but still looking for right candidate (thought or a little remake for Victario's influence to make aura based summoner, possibly The Covenant for SRS variant, crafting high ES vaal regalia, which I do have 86ilvl base for)

    - Outside of the above I consider swapping around rings, amulet, boots and belts possibly to fill the holes in defences

    - Ascendancy perks (I could swap one notable for Bone Sculptor if I plan on using skellies still, but was waiting for any skelly jewel to pop up. Otherwise I'm tempted on SRS variant)

    - ditching Skellies for SRS and moving zombies to the helmet, any ideas?

    Last few notes:

    - I might need the stats from tree (although I could supplement it on items)

    - skelly->SRS switcheroo

    - going back to double curse? (used to have ele weakness/temporal chains + enfeeble, but my main concern are boss fights so no?)

    - getting rid of that sweet setup on gloves? (seems like great utility with blind, ball lightning proccing EE while also cursing)

    - I don't like spectres, please no? :D

    - The build took care of Shaper (4 deaths since It's first one_, Red Elder (similar case), Pale Council (Got multimod craft), Atziri (RNG messed me up with mortal frags for Uber), did 4-way Conflict (although dps was a bit dissapointing on generals, still had to see one Timeless Jewel?)

    - Planning on 5-way sooner or later

    - leaving SSF aside, I could possibly grind/farm specific places, bases and such so feel open for these kind of sugestions!

    So any thoughts? ideas? recommendations? tips? Thank y'all in advance

    Monolith Farming Build

    I've been doing some research and identified 2 builds that I'd like to try (windripper deadeye and vaal ice nova).

    While the guides are great for endgame, they don't really explain how to get there from level 1. Are there any easy leveling tips for either build? I can invest in some leveling gear so any guidance would be appreciated!

    How to go from 100K to 10M ?

    Hi I'm running a Lvl 91 Slayer following this build from Ahfack
    Has I was trying to improve my damages, I could not point out what was the huge difference which makes it a100 times more destructive. Tried to put my axe in his build and it wasn't a huge loss. I tried to remove a few items and the dps was never under millions. Checked the build, mine was ok.

    TL:DR Can someone explain to me what make a build go from a 100K damages to 10 Millions ?

    Arborix build fail because Arborix/poe mechanics...

    So i decide to do something with arborix, champion with fortify, shrapnel shot for close range damage...and vaal and molten shell with evasion when i had the iron reflex up. It was going nice, your char gets a steel look effect when u have "iron reflex" then you pop your molten shell...but then u have something like phasewalk aaaand fuck u cant see your steel look anymore, and u start poping mshell while u have only evasion....end of story, this type of mechanics should show a buff icon, thats all, good bye.
