    E: Actually, that isn't all i want to say on the subject. /u/bzkay brought up a good idea.

    Biggest problem imo is that even if you find someone who has the crafts you have to hand over your valuable item to get it done.

    At minimum, there should be scrolls of crafting that you can put a mod on to sell. ​

    Then, you'd be rewarded if you put in the effort to get the crafts because you can easily sell (crafted) enchants. People who don't put in the effort don't get punished, they just have to buy the scroll off someone.

    This would IMO be the best solution to the problem without complete removal of the unveiling system. If you don't understand what this would look like, look up: trade-able enchants in WoW. You would put the scroll into the crafting bench, craft something like +2 to support gems and list it on the trade website, a person would buy it from you then right click the scroll and apply to the item of their choice.

    bridge farm in betrayal ruined the league.

    now we have glacier farm in legion.

    we have so much end game possiblities, everything is there, yet high tier mapping or any end game related content is just USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME.

    leveled my 3third character to 92-96 just to ask myself after "what for?", when all you need to do is MF farming glacier in this league. why would you do anything end game related, when you get zero reward scaling.

    this is the only thing synthesis did right, high level content resulted in somewhat better rewards, sadly the league itself was garbage.

    why is this still a thing? you can almost just level an MF character at the start of a league, because there will be some low level shit farming with stupid rewards.

    they patch out double converted damage midleague, but leaguebreaking shit like this stays. "enjoy windripping MF burials like every league boys, cya next patch" - ggg laughing in mtx money.

    all the windy MF boyz will downvote, but I am one of the few, who actually enjoy doing hard content with scaling rewards (which is nonexistent right now), rather than running 1000 burials/glaciers on autopilot.

    I was running a pretty basic ed/contagion trickster. No MF or special movement speed gear aside from atziris steps. I set up my atlas for infinite t5 Burial Chambers, and while I almost had problems sustaining in the first 10 maps, the map drops picked up and after finishing 220 runs I am still sitting on about 100 burial chambers. I only alched these, and did not want to put in any more money per map than I had to. Sorry in advance for the crappy formatting. The format will be ITEM>QUANT FOUND>TOTAL VALUE. I had a strict filter on, and avoided picking up rares at all cost. I stopped picking up veiled items after about map 100 or so because I was no longer unlocking any new mods. I did all master missions with exception of Zana unless she had a unique strongbox mission, or had a rare BC mission. I averaged 2m54sec per map (including dumping inventory and getting a new portal open). I was clearing to <50mobs left, and killing the boss for map tiers achievement. DISCLAIMER - i didnt find any doctors :(

    • Fossil drops totaled 77c, with 2x gilded and 1x sanctified as notable drops
    • Lots of random div cards, and doc didn't show up :\ - 75C total from random div cards, (including 45 gamblers that i haven't traded in yet). Only really notable div card was sephirot. Rest were 3c here or 5c there.
    • I found a total of 31 scarabs, 1 gilded elder, a few polished and rest rusty. Total 83c.
    • For legion emblems, I completed: 3x eternal, 3x karui, 2x vaal, 1 maraketh and 1 templar. Total 330c.
    • Emblem splinters I had leftover: 38x Eternal, 91x karui, 97x vaal, 26x maraketh, 48x templar. Total 213c.
    • I found a handful of breachstones and splinters, total 56c.
    • Misc drops (prophecies, unique maps, fragments, including a t5 beachhead) - 31c
    • I found 1 decent stygian vise that i sold for 220c, and another meh one that I estimate value at 25c.
    • I found a well rolled Ahn's Might and sold it for 50c.
    • I found abaxoth once, and sold him for challenge for total of 150c.
    • I found 1 unique strong box and sold it for 100c.
    • A whole ton of essences that i honestly just didnt feel like pricing since they are all dirt cheap

    I think this covers mostly everything, I'm really just transferring everything I have written down on a couple pieces of paper, so some mistakes might be made due to transcriber error. Ok, here are the totals.

    TOTALS

    • Currency Orbs - 2475c
    • Div cards - 75c
    • 2 items i sold - 50c/220c
    • selling challenges - 250c
    • Scarabs - 83c
    • Fossils - 77c
    • Emblems - 330c
    • Emb. Splinters - 213c
    • Breach Splinters - 33c
    • Misc - 31c

    It's late so don't be surprised if I made a math mistake, but here are the some rough calculations.

    Total Chaos value earned - 3857 (22 exalts)

    220maps @ 174 seconds each = 638 minutes mapping or 10.5 hours.

    Chaos per map - 17.5

    Chaos per minute - ~6.04

    Closing thoughts - The runs were fine and I got to catch up on some shows, but after a couple hundred it became sorta soul crushing. The map was fairly easy to run, though the second big area kinda bugged me because the hill in the middle where the arena entrance is is annoying to navigate (protip, if there is no tree above the arena entrance you can click on the room and enter from on top of the hill). The best place for the monolith to be is in the first big area, but it spawns in the second big area 90% of the time. I had it spawn in the tunnel maybe 2 or 3 times.

    One last thing, i wasn't able to sustain alchs for the maps, and ended up having to buy maybe 50 for the entire run. I got probably 3-4 alch drops per 5 maps.

    Dear GGG.

    I'm not a veteran by any means - in fact, I only started playing with this league, so I don't know if what I am saying is "normal" or not, but i really want to get it off my chest.

    I'm not the biggest ARPG fan of all times - tho i did sink quite a lot into d2(and d3,but much less), but PoE hooked me greatly, like no game in past year. There are a lot of things i dislike in design phylosophy, and yet - I kept logging in and playing every day for 2+ hours . I know these are rookie numbers, but in my personal situation that's nearly every minute of "free personal time" I have.

    If you noticed I said "kept". That was the case untill yesterday. I'm not bored, neither I found another game - but constantly struggling against server perfomance killed all my fun. I realise noone is perfect and issues were, probably, temporary, but i don't want to use logic to convince myself i'm having fun.

    For the last 5 years(that's the time I use my current ISP) I played single-player offline games for maybe 50 hours total. I've tried a large variety of multiplayer games - from turn-based strategies to fast-paced shooters. I have never had problems with jitter, lost packets, weird route tables or anything like that before PoE.

    I am making my living by working in IT, and my current position is head of System and Netwrok Administration team in a relatively big company. I can troubleshoot and pinpoint the problem relatively good.

    So please, stop telling me that my ISP is bad, my router is lagging, or that I have misconfigured network.

    They are all fine.

    If you can't fix your problems - at least admit them. Stop ignoring constant reports and treat people like idiots.

    Every time Beyond mob spawns my ping jumps from 15 to 60+. I'm getting random "ladders" on network graph at least twice a day(with my limited playtime!) untill i switch instance. Two days ago i got desynced with a server having 15ms ping on graph and almost ideal connection, accourding to ingame overlay.

    Divine Vessels + Atziri/Pale Council idea

    On the most recent Baeclast the guys were talking about using divine vessels to unlock harder fragment boss fights and having a pet or hideout tied to it.

    What if the harder version gave you a piece of their Soul and captured it in the Divine Vessel like it does for Pantheon Bosses except in this case make it so you can redeem them when you see fit for an extra benefit on your atlas temporarily.

    • Atziri: Next 3 maps you run are Corrupted and have the Vaal Winds prophecy.
    • Uber Atziri: Next 3 maps you run are Corrupted and all items dropped are corrupted.
    • Pale Council: Next 3 maps you run are affected by 3 additional Sextants and monsters drop additional rare prophecies.
    • Shaper: Next 3 maps you run are Shaper Strongholds and drop additional Shaped Items.
    • Any Breachstone: Next 3 maps you run are Beyond and contain additional Breaches.

    Any alternate ideas for rewards or thoughts?

    Look, im probably going to get downvoted and abused for this because this is usually what happens but hopefully someone see's this and remembers the guys name in case they come across him, not too bothered about losing the currency but the fact he claims hes done it or is doing it enough to make an Headhunter, I would like to put his name out there incase there's other people like me that will stupidly fall for it.

    And before people start insulting me, I have learning difficulties, mental health issues and despite all that im a full time carer, I play this game to escape from my day to day stresses, I'm not here for attention or for people to say 'omg thats so sad', i'm not after sympathy, i enjoy my life.

    Getting scammed out of buying an item and then going mad is 9 times out of 10 the buyers fault for not checking what theyre buying but in this case it was kind of elaborate and quite sick in the way it was done, i've learnt my lesson now, not to be impatient and the next time im trying to complete a challenge, ill just do it myself however long it takes instead of impatiently looking for a service but hopefully there arent too many people like this because unfortunately theres quite a few of us trusting people that will get taken for a ride by people like him.

    Please don't be too hard on me, i know its my fault for being trusting and i know reddit can sometimes be a bit harsh on people posting these but i just don't want anyone to be sat here feeling as down as i was after this happened.

    [EDIT]: After waking up and going through my daily routine, I come to check on reddit, just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the messages and the comments, i know i was a idiot for falling for the scam now i've learned my lesson and all of you have given me such amazing advice for the future if im looking for help with challenges, to people asking for my IGN to play maps and stuff, i'm totally down to do that but to the people offering me currency i'm really sorry but i just couldn't take it, we all work hard for out stuff in game, me missing out on currency is my lesson but my dream for this league is to make it to 100 so if anyone is up for playing maps or breachstone's then feel free to add me ( JnrPOE ) - For some reason after editing the picture i can't change the picture that automatically shows up on the post on mobile even though i have deleted it from the album. Thank you all for such kind words and messages here on reddit and in game (sorry to people ive missed in game, im afk a lot due personal reasons) you'll never understand (unless youre like me) how just something so small as a message or a comment can really lift someones day/mood in situations like these.

    And to the people saying im hard on myself or calling it self pity, i'm sorry, i wish i could help it, i type how i speak and how i think and to be perfectly honest i walk around the house most days saying 'what a dickhead' to myself so i guess its just that, the last thing i wanted was sympathy so i didn't want to come across like i was begging for it and i don't know if i did or not but all i can say is thank you for understanding, thank you for not blasting me for getting scammed and that you are all a credit to the community, this is a great game and yeah it has its flaws and we all play it for different reasons but it may not mean much to any of you but you can all take pride in knowing that you lifted for just one person, what could of been another 'meh' day, into a 'fuck i love this community' day!!
