    Can this work? I haven't a clue about buildmaking, but I do have a 770something facebreaker and I got a 6s dancing duo for free from a random person in global. How do I path? Which class do I pick? What gear do should I get?

    Are spectre mandatory for summoner builds?

    First of all I have never played a summoner build in PoE so I don't know much about it. My first character this league was a cobra lash assassin but now I want to try something different. Right now I'm leaning towards a build with skeletons and minion instability.

    From what I understand you need to summon the spectre from specific corpses if you want something good at high level. I don't know how often they die but it looks tedious. Since spectres stay until they die it looks like a 'free' dps boost but are they really mandatory if you want a good dps?

    A question for the summoners out there in wraeclast

    I am giving necro a go this league because its shiny and new. My question is: what are everyones opinions as to which variant is the best for overall clearspeed, bosses, and playstyle speed? For me, the faster the better.

    Spectres? Skeletons? Zombies? Or a combination?

    • i noticed that a higher percentage of players are going with spectres atm according to poeninja, but i would rather hear some details from a wide spectrum before I commit. *

    ** i will say the slave driver spectres look pretty cool. Scaling lightning damage i presume...**

    ED/Contagion build good for Blight?

    This is only my second league, started playing a little after Legion started.

    Has anyone done an Ed/contagion build this league. Seems like it could be really good for the blight maps but maybe I am missing something.

    How does Blastchain Mines interact with Traps mechanically?

    Does it benefit from both trap and mine multipliers? E.g. does it gain benefit from Trap & Mine support twice? Or does it gain benefit from both mine and trap mods on the tree?

    I was wondering if you could make sense to make a Minefield(or/and Curtain Call), Cluster Traps and Swift Assembly build as Swift Assembly affects both clearly and 5-7 mines would drop 15-21 traps; would this make sense with any trap?

    Venom gyre 3.8 blight Deadeye

    Hello, dear community. Sorry for creating yet another post. I kinda suck in build creating, usually coping someone's else builds with minor changes. Nowdays GGG released new gems venom gyre and cobra lash. There was discussion on another poe sub, about how hard to make venom gyre work, compared to cobra lash. And there was multiple opinion, that deadeye ascendancy way better for venom gyre than assassin.

    I cannot, honestly, find my self any dead eye build, that uses venom gyre. Could any one please help me with pob? Sorry for long read.

    The Matryoshka Trapper Miner build concept - Would this work?

    The idea is to use Blastchain Mine Support for Fire Traps to throw out 5 mines at minimum that then throw out triple of that in traps(Swift Assembly comes into play that affects both). With the two combined, you could possibly use hybrid nodes on the tree to double dip on its bonuses, be it regen from ascendancy, AoE or damage. You'd use Sunblast + 2 Cheap Construction for traps not to take up maximum unless absolutely necessary.

    Also, it looks absolutely hilarious when I test it out on a tabula. Sadly you cannot do it the other way around(Trap Support+Mine Skill)

    Am I correct in my understanding that this is how it would work?

    I'd welcome feedback on going around this the right way, assuming this can work.

    New player Here need advice what to do post Lord of the dead minion build

    Flickerstrike build theorycrafting help

    I'm working on theorycrafting a new build - one that uses flickerstrike, but without any frenzy charges. I literally just thought about it this morning, but hoping somebody can offer some advice. General thoughts are as followed:

    • Flickerstrike, crit based.
    • Dual wield Ahn's Might, and have one Pacifism to max frenzy charges at 0.
    • remove flickerstrike cooldown using 100% cooldown recovery speed.

    A couple questions that I couldn't find on the wiki:

    • Do sources of "increased cooldown recovery speed" stack additively? If I have a max roll of 80% on Stampede , and a max 20% roll on The Flow Untethered, do I now have effectively eliminated cooldown?
    • While we're on Stampede, are "travel skills" just another word for movement skills?
    • Are there other sources of cooldown reduction? I found Blood and Sand, but is that local to this ability only?

    Lastly, I'm hoping for input on Ascendancy:

    • Slayer has huge DPS gains, a cull, crit bonuses, and leech stuff. This seems like the best option at first glance.
    • Trickster lets me cast my flickerstrike for free (plus some defensive bonuses). This would let me reserve 100% of my mana, which i'm trying to determine benefits vs slayer. I guess this is just going to be some plug and play in PoB.
