    Like it or not, minion builds are a big part of POE and whether you have played them or not, you will sooner or later engage with their mechanics on some level. Be it a herald of purity on a melee build or just a stone golem while leveling many different builds have minions as a part of their kit.

    Poe is great but it is not unusual for minions to have some problems with pathing and attack priority. Especially in tight maps, with lots of corners, doors and different elevation levels. Or what about minions dying to a ground aoe or standing and eating big windup boss attacks? This makes minions feel unwieldy and frustrating. (Also as a side note, I heard people complain about minion builds being boring with not a lot to do, but personally I think it's neither the case nor the problem even if it was so)

    GGG has given us tools for minion customization in blight with aggressive/defensive behaviors. Both deathmark and convocation (especially in combination) give you a greater sense of control and engagement, where you feel like it's not just your minions running around, but you being in charge.

    Problem is, that a lot of the times having gems which grant this control is worse for the build than adding a generic minion damage or a defensive gem, which makes you choose between convenience and power. Whatever you choose you feel bad. A stronger build which frustrates you when minions get stuck or attack a wall, or having a smoother gameplay, but knowing that the build is not as good as you can make it in maps where those skills are not needed.

    As a solution, whenever you equip an active minion gem, you can add a minor deathmark and convocation abilities to a tab from where you choose abilities for your hotbar. Getting the gems gives you a more powerful effect. It's unintrusive, helps active players, makes POE feel better.

    Feels like rangers ascendancy and ele bow attacks could use some buffs

    I feel like rangers ascendancy are lagging behind, especially in their survivability. Moreover while very high end bow builds are strong, the pre, early to mid endgame are really underwhelming compared to dot builds. I feel like Metamorph "bow league" and the increased general game difficulty really hurt ele bow more than anything else.

    PSA - Seed Enhancers appear to only consume one of a certain type per Harvest, so don't place 2/50 and 50/50 buds in the same spot hoping it'll intelligently burn down to 0/50 + 28/50.

    Luckily for me, the economic loss was (relatively) tiny as I'm a filthy casual scrublet, but I had put down a 50/50 Fortune Bud and a 50/50 Horticrafting Bud next to my 24/24 field of caster seeds, assuming that that means I would be juicing all 24 caster seeds. Nope. Since I also let my 2/50 Fortune Bud and 2/50 Horticrafting Bud remain in the same area, the field consumed the last 2/50 of Fortune Bud and 2/50 Horticrafting Bud and completely ignored my 50/50 Buds.

    (I had been wondering why I was so unlucky that not a single Augment or Remove Caster type craft came up, and it was only afterwards that I realised my Buds weren't consumed.)

    EDIT: Naturally, this is subject to change, but I just now Harvested and that's what happened. Shruggies.

    We just freaking love it when GGG gets interviewed. There's just so much to dissect even when they have lots to hold back.     "Collateral" scam - another way of scamming ???

    Just few hours ago, i was scammed and lost about 15ex. Here is the story:

    While i was trying to sell my vorici bench, i got a message from a guy that he wanted to buy it. However, he asked for collaterals for his item which he priced 25ex. His item is a nice dex stacking cold bow with 2 additional arrow, t2 flat added damage, t1 cold added per 10 dex, t3 critical multiplier, t2 local attack speed.

    Based on my experience and some searching, i believed him with his price, but i dont have enough currency for collateral, so he asked me if i have some expensive gear instead of raw exalts.

    The result of negotiation was his bow trading for collateral: 4ex + my nearly max roll bottle faith and my culling unnerve gloves (these cost me more than 25ex). And as you can imagine, he left party and ignored me as soon as the trade completed.

    I guess that the bow is a result of other scam by this guy. It is worth like 30-35ex but i dont have any mood for waiting to sell it when i couldn't do anything because of my core gear is gone.

    After doing some searching, i found my gloves listed by another guy - another victim of scamming - who lost an 20ex woke gem to the scam guy, and decided to ask him to trade the bow with my gloves.

    In the end, i lost a bottle faith and 4ex raw.

    Just want to notice everyone careful when be asked for collateral. Some special points for differentiating scammer are: low level character, no mtx.

    Headhunter Give Away(And other goodies)

    So for the past few leagues I typically will end my league by giving away my stuff to people I see in global chat who are relatively newer to POE. Last league was the first league I acquired a headhunter and I gave it away with the promise of vaaling it right after and it bricked (poor guy). This league I have acquired yet another headhunter as it only took me since harbinger league (my start) to finally figure this game out enough to really make enough currency to buy this sought out (but stupid) belt.

    This League I am yet again giving my stuff away. But this time I will give it away here on reddit.

    It's simple, just leave a funny comment and after either 24 hrs or 100 upvotes I will count the comments and put the total into a random number generator and whatever comment it picks, I will give the headhunter to. If this system fails ill just simply pick a few of the funniest comments and give stuff away.

    Commenting a comment will not count as a comment. You must submit your own comment for me to count it. I will pm the winner for your IGN and I will simply trade you the belt. I also have other items to giveaway including EX, Mirror Tier items or just plain expensive items.
