| Improving LS Raider on 40-50ex Budget Posted: 16 Jul 2022 03:59 AM PDT Hi, after I did not enjoy my MF deadeye, I switched to LS raider with absolute garbage gear (besides the HH) but did well enough to level to 96. This is my current POB:https://pastebin.com/25NF89LN Due to my gear being terrible I deal barely any damage without HH buffs. This I would very much like to change. This is purely a mapping build, so I just want to do semi juiced content fast. Most important, I need more damage before HH buffs. I farmed up almost 40 ex, but can farm another 10 rather fast if it helps. What would be the best way to improve my build? Should I invest all 40 ex now? If so, what should I impove first? | Posted: 16 Jul 2022 02:40 AM PDT I am mostly done with the league and my main character, but still missing like 2/3 of the Atlas Grinds challenge. Now I am looking for a very fast mapper which I can use especially for this challenge. My budget is like a Headhunter (probably mandatory, but I'm up for alternatives) plus a couple Ex (say 10) for core items. I want at least 150 movement speed, be able to clear the whole screen and don't want the build to be fully deactivated by an altar or Archenemesis mod (because that would require me reading them). I thought about implementing Winterweave, Gull and Inpulsa, but that's just first ideas. Up for uncommon builds like a self-Temp Chain Juggernaut or something, as long as I can slap a good clear skill on it. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 16 Jul 2022 03:10 AM PDT I was looking for a "well-geared" build 6 months ago for about 1 mirror in standard, and all the things people were linking seemed to be only slightly better than the stuff I could craft myself. Then I got an offer to buy this build for 1.4 mirror and took it as it was all Harvest Legacy gear. I checked each item individually, and even lower rolled versions of the items seemed to put the value of the build well above 1.4 mirrors (ring, belt, gloves, neck, weapon, gloves, chest, are all 150ex+ from my checking, with neck and chest 0.4 mirrors each maybe and that synth jewel is one of a kind though probably not worth an insane amount). While the dps is awesome, speed is great for mapping, and I've killed bosses I've never killed before with it, I feel that it is underperforming. Do you think it would be worth using this gear for something else? Selling it in bulk? Selling piece by piece? Moving it to Scion? Help please. (or am i misvaluing this completely, and try to find some other sucker to unload it on for 1.4 mirrors?) [link] [comments] | ||
| Dominating Blow theorycrafting mostly Posted: 16 Jul 2022 02:25 AM PDT Hi, so i was wandering around to reroll to anothe build wich i usually do a bit too often like reach lv 70? reroll D: so i was looking randomly at dom blow and notice someone on SSF doing an raider version and i thinked... WTF? raider summoner? But i checked everything and as defences doesn't seem actualy that bad of idea: 40% suppres, phasing, 50% avoid ele ail,10 more evade during onsl and as offensive nearby enemy have -20 res and onslaught. By going raider you have early access to magebane and easily cap spell suppress, so it should become cheaper as build but overall it seems to do very low damage even with awakened minion damage, maybe another good way would be to go prototype and lightning conversion rather then fire? | Noob asking; how do I improve my build? Posted: 15 Jul 2022 11:47 AM PDT Hi guys, Most of you can just scroll past this, hope I won't waste your time. If I'm posting in the wrong sub, feel free to remove the post. Now I have to start of by warning you, I'm an absolute noob in this game, I've mostly played D3. But I love Poe so far. So before starting I read a bit about the game, read more than once that you shouldn't freestyle a build because it would be hard refunding passive points later on. I therefore choose to followed this juggernaut earthquake build. I've been having a blast so far, reached lvl 71 and am doing maps tier 1. One of the problems I have come across lately is having a hard time swapping an item. An example can be, If I want to swap one of my rings which might have +15 dex to a ring without said dex, my other items stop working because they are dependent on the dex other than my strength. I have tried to read about as much as I can, but as you already know, this game is absolutely massive. I've watch Zizaran (uni, maps), read tips and recommendations on reddit and Googled a lot. But I still feel there are a lot of unanswered questions. My questions are as following;
So even if I'm not able to play everyday or very much, I like working on a character during longer periods. I bought tabs, partly to support GGG but also because I've come to understand that, while the game is free, it's hard playing without extra tabs. This is my PoB. Please go easy on me :) Thanks. I have started off with a totem build haven't followed any guides which is probably how I ended up here. My current issue is this.. I have somehow managed to freeze all of my mana it says 0/0 and when I cast a spell it uses a tiny bit of my health which instantly recovers. This isn't a real issue as I'm now somehow much tanker than I previously was but it does interfere with me being able to use a second aura. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I made a t1 lightning damage and T2 increased physical damage axe on an explode base with t1 attack speed. I was playing around with charged dash because of the increased onslaught effect mastery. I was trying to play around with rage, but it's not that great because I'm a templar. I was thinking of maybe going with ground slam instead. Perforate is kinda ok. Any suggestions on what to do? I cant no life the game for a week so realistically 70-80 is my goal with how much play time ill have. I was able to get to level 60 during the December gauntlet and want to try and beat that this time. I played Seismic last league and EA this league so would prefer not to do either of those and from what I understand DD and RF dont come online till maps so those dont sound good either. Posted: 15 Jul 2022 08:16 AM PDT Looking for the 'next step'(s?) for this build: POB: https://pastebin.com/sKtv4x7M Saw Cold Conversion Seismic these past few leagues and Doryani's Prototype and thought "what if I did lightning conversion instead?" It works! It can't take advantage of Secrets of Suffering like cold convert does, but -150% to -200% resist on enemies is great. 100% conversion to lightning comes from 20% anomalous Phys to Lightning (60% conv) and a 40% conv Wrath Watcher's Eye. Reducing lightning resist comes from Thread of Hope and Melding of the Flesh. Survivability is alright. I was relying on Lethe Shade for a while for all of the ground effects, but I refunded that to get the 4th medium cluster jewel so the traps activate instantly after being thrown (4x Set and Forget). There's an opportunity to increase max elemental resist for fire and cold with Melding of the Flesh but I have yet to take advantage of it. Maybe a shield instead of dual daggers? I'm at a loss here how to fit in more survivability. I was hoping it would do more damage than it does against bosses. I feel like I'm missing something.. Any help is greatly appreciated. Right now, I'm thinking of running poisonous concoction occultist as my true starter since it has nice clear and good speed, doesn't rely on insanely expensive anything, and could build me a currency base to throw at my actual character. Posted: 15 Jul 2022 10:21 AM PDT My SSF experience always goes like this every league: Choose a league starter -> amass enough resources to reroll into another league starter build that can scale higher -> hit a point where either, I get bored of the playstyle or the next upgrades will be very time consuming to get. Is at this point where I start to check what other builds I can make out of the resources I have but I never manage to do it, build enabling uniques are often build with other pieces that are insanely hard to get on SSF and other SSF friendly builds take a lot of resources and time to get to the place I currently am. For example, this league I started with a Lightning Trap saboteur, got to red maps with it and got enough mats and bases to reroll into a RF build with which I tackled the end game content. I managed to drop a melding, a bunch of timeless jewels, a doryani's prototype and a 5 passives voices but all the builds I look at need other pieces like Aegis, Omniscience, Replica dreamfeather, alt quality gems, etc. So I'm always getting stuck with a build that, reasonably, is not gonna scale much further but can't manage content like uber bosses and feared and half the pieces of other end game builds that can manage that content but that I won't be able to make.
