    First of all I want to apologize for creating another "I hate the trading system" post but I've been buying exalteds for the last hour and I have to put it on words or I will explode. I know that GGG doesn't care about these complains so it's fine

    During this process:

    - People not answering. That's why I love trading bots.. they have some problems... but at least they are efficient.

    - Even with the trades companion it's so hard to keep track of what you have to pay if you send like 10 whispers. 320c .. 460c... so you do mistakes. I've been called a scammer for forgetting a row of chaos... (yes, I know it's my fault for not paying attention and I have apologized). I payed more twice for the same reason...

    - I've been included in 2 ignore lists for clicking accept to a new invite instead of trade on a button miss-click (can the buttons have a different color, please?)

    Well, now that it's out let's go back to farming

    Please stop misrepresenting the issue: we're NOT asking for an easier game, we're asking for a clear path of grindy and steady progression.

    Let me put you an example: do you gamble fusings to 6 link your armour?

    I do not. Ever. I absolutely hate losing my progress to end up in a worse position than I was before. So the game offers an alternate, clear path to upgrade my gear:

    1) Map to farm tons of sulphite

    2) Delve to 250+ depth to find the 6 link recipe

    3) Farm 1500 fusings or equivalent currency.

    And this awesome, because I have to farm and grind and actually put effort into accomplishing a clear, attainable goal that I check off my list and continue working towards the next objective. This is proper ARPG progression and feels rewarding.

    You want to take a shortcut and try your luck? You absolutely can! Maybe you 6 link like a streamer in a couple of fusings and make me look like an idiot. And you know what? Good for you! As far as I'm concerned, the more power to you, the better.

    The game is designed well enough to accomodate both our preferences in regards to socket and linking management.

    Harvest has opened crafting for the first time to many, many players because it provides the equivalent of the 6 link recipe: you do this, and you get that. Is it too easy to craft uber powerful ítems? Maybe, yes. Are 6xT1 items really needed? No. Is deterministic crafting needed in at least some accesible form? Absolutely.

    Because when Harvest goes away, crafting goes away too and it's back to trading. There's no in between. And that will be a sad day for people like me who really loves the game.

    Possible 3.12 league

    Based on Bex's tweet ("I've almost spoiled the name by typing it"), I think I figured out the 3.12 league:

    Path of Exile: Typolomorphiary

    Typewriters have been invented and are putting scribes and calligraphists out of business all over Wraeclast. Bestel spent Harvest league crafting mirror tier gear and ascended to godhood. He refuses to write his manuscript on a typewriter and threatens to burn Oriath to the ground a second time.

    Collect rhoa feathers and craicic squid ink in areas all over Wraeclast. Once you have collected 300 of each, you can make an offering at Bestel's shrine in Lioneye's Watch. Fight Bestel who uses randomized builds and mirror tier gear while he challenges you to a typing contest à la "Typing of the Dead". Yes, he will sometimes Flicker Strike you from off screen or randomly appear in an area, which may also be your hideout, and present a surprise test of typing dexterity to you.

    • new endgame boss: Bestel.
    • new currency item: Ribbon of Correction. Collect 100 Ribbons of Correction to receive a Tape of Correction. It lets you erase one modifier on a unique item and replaces it with a modifier from another unique of the same item slot, both modifiers of your choice. However, there is a random chance for a typo which would make the item unusable.
    • new status effect: inked. Get permanent magical effects by summoning the Avatar of Huēhuecoyōtl and petition him for random body art.
    • Harbinger mode: sometimes the typing prompts will bug out and be all garbled for an extra challenge.
    • new postprocessing effect: Random typographic symbols will frequently appear and remain on your screen while clearing an area to encourage you to finish the area more quickly. This does not result in any performance penalty and creates a more immersive typing experience.

    Path of Exile: Typolomorphiary will be released on September 18th on PC and September 25th on Consoles.

    I'm level 100 with 39 of 40 achievements. I've done thousands of Einhar missions but all of the beasts are yellow or red. Where do I find the great white beast so I can finish my last challenge?

    Currency generation tips for casual players

    Like everyone I've seen all the threads starting a civil war between more casual players and those that play quite a bit more in regards to Harvest not going core. The biggest thing that has stood out to me is in regards to currency drops being RNG and being able to make any real progression on gear because of it. I thought it would be helpful to try and give some advice on how people can more reliably get more currency and limit the RNG. I can't craft mirror tier items or afford them, but in general with a little work I can reliably start making 50-100 ex builds by doing some of the below things. Mostly it is just maximizing the content that is core.

    Leveling Gems - Look at what builds are popular and in a secondary weapon level those gems up and sell level 20 or 20/20 versions. These will sell quickly and net you free chaos

    Alva - Running Alva missions and the Temple you can reliably make currency with the following rooms... Vault - Will drop a lot of currency T3 Gem Altar - Look at what gems popular builds are using and double corrupt a gem, selling 21/23 versions of those gems will give you a lot of EX T3 Corruption Altar - Depending on how far into the league it is these can reliably be sold for 2EX

    Jun - There are plenty of Syndicate guides available on YouTube or online, but the primary goal here is to start by getting green and red strings attaching everyone (I prefer red), and after those strings are there work on getting just 2 people in research, and 2 people in intervention. For Research: In my experience It That Fled in research is the most profitable. Only run the safe house when he is level 3, and buy Chayula Breachstones, upgrade them to pure then sell. Its usually 100c to buy them and you can usually sell for over 200c. Vorici - this will add white sockets to items. You can sell this craft to people and ask for currency based on how many white sockets are added. It is not uncommon to see 1ex per white socket added For Intervention - Anything will work here but the idea would be to sell the scarabs that drop from running this. Popular scarabs could be Sulphite, Divination Cards, I personally like Hillock for the upgrading quality of maps but if you don't want to run high tier maps just selling scarabs in bulk nets good profit.

    Delve - Delving can also be used to quickly make currency. Learn about how to search for the walls you can blow up and just run delving at the lowest depth you can comfortably play. The fossils and resonators sell very well, especially in bulk. In Harvest this is less true because crafting is so different but every other league these can be very valuable.

    Zana - Running Zana missions will quickly give you access to shaper / elder fragments or even unique maps like altered distant memory where you can sometimes get rings to drop which will net you 10+ ex quickly. Doing bulk Zana missions on high tier maps this league I farmed about 60ex in a matter of days just selling those synthesized rings. The fragments for shaper and elder reliably sell for over 10c each as well.

    I'm sure there are more obvious and profitable things I missed / forgot, but I thought this could be helpful for some people overcoming that hump I see discussed on here so much.
