Build suggestions for 50-60ex budget Posted: 01 Nov 2020 12:00 AM PDT Hey guys im currently playing the aura stacking golem build and it is really fun. I can easily do pretty much all content of the game but i am having a very bad luck with boss drops so and i am getting burned out of that build. i can sell the gear for about 50-60 ex or i can keep farming for more currency if needed. I am looking for a smooth mapper like a BV(?) build that doesnt need to stop and press abilities and wait for animations which can also do bosses. I dont mind dying every once in a while so that shouldnt be a consideration point for the build. please no totems, traps, or cyclone. I really dont enjoy those. Thank you guys in advance [link] [comments]
Looking for build to run 100% Delirium T16+ maps Posted: 31 Oct 2020 08:56 AM PDT Hey guys, as the title says I'm looking for build ideas that can run high tier maps with 100% delirium both safely and effectively. Budget atm is currently around 50ex but have a character already that can farm currency decently. I'm looking for something within reason (so no 400+ ex aura stacker builds. Not super picky on playstyle as I enjoy a variety of builds but tend to favour bow/chaos/dot builds. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Double strike gladiator build. Looking for help and advice Posted: 01 Nov 2020 01:05 AM PST I have started out with this build in the league, and I am starting to have issues on T14+ maps, as I frequently get oneshotted. I saw a build some leagues ago on the instant leech champion, and tried to make something similar, but using a gladiator instead. I am looking for some advice on if there is a way to improve my survivability somewhat. It is getting frustrating that I keep trying to dodge all the spells, but even mid dash I just get crushed instantly. My budget is quite low: 1ex 150c is all I have (I know i know, I was never good at making money in PoE :/) Any advice is welcome, as I would also like to learn the ropes on how to advance in situations like this in the following leagues. How much do I need to make a PS aura stacker feel good? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 11:14 PM PDT Title basically I'm just wondering how much I would need to make it feel good farming t16s and maybe some conquerors and more importantly WHAT do I need (like do I need divergent PoE do I need whatever just how good of gear makes it feel comfortable and fast) Thanks EDIT: PS = Power siphon [link] [comments]
Looking for a little bit tanky, be able to kill all the bosses build Posted: 31 Oct 2020 11:04 PM PDT Hello, I've played TR and Elementalist Carrion Golem build this league. And made about 100-150 ex currency. I'm looking for a build that is brainless as Carrion Golem or high damage that doesnt even have to dodge the spell because of instant phase trigger. I'm not looking for a tankiest build in the world. I just need to have some mistake window, like Shaper's beam touched a little bit and I don't get 1 shot. Can I be able to do any aura stacker builds with my currency? Or anyone know how is the fire conversion Assassin Blade Vortex? Thank you all. [link] [comments]
How do Chars survive deep delve? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 06:21 PM PDT I know its kind a combination of damage and speed but how do you maneuver through the mines without getting hit only once? I dont get it :/ Thanks [link] [comments]
Righteous Fire (Heist Softcore) for chill Heist running? Posted: 01 Nov 2020 12:52 AM PDT Looking for a Righteous Fire build that feels smooth to run Heists with (to finish endgame grinds). Currently looking at either Trickster or Guardian. Never played the build so I'm asking - the Trickster, is it tanky enough to not die when spamming Heists? Because I've got this feeling (from what I've seen) that the Guardian is by a mile more tanky. But how much slower is it then? TL:DR; Trickster or Guardian for Heists? Edit: Budget is like 60 ex and a Headhunter (if neccessary). [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Nov 2020 02:57 AM PST Hello, I was looking on Google of a recent crafting guide for pure dps weapon (not bleed) without much success (found one from harvest...) If you want to make juste a high pdps weapon, in my case a maelstrom staff, how would you do it? Playing since the beginning of act 3 and still doesn't really understand how to do it efficiently. If you can explain to me ', it will be great, especially if you can divide into the cheap way and the costly way. Thanks exiles! [link] [comments]
I need some advices for my Bleed Lacerate Gladiator Posted: 31 Oct 2020 09:07 PM PDT POB: https://pastebin.com/h5y37SUW I'm playing Bleed Gladiator with 1 Axe and Surrender Shield using Lacerate. I have 2 main question. 1/ How can i continue to improve my character. What upgrade should i prioritize (with the budget of 20 30 ex). Does my build has any problem ? 2/ I'm quite interested in the Lacerman Build with 2 axe, focus on phycical damage and impale. Should i change to this build ? Is this build better than my current build in term of clear speed and boss killing ? I saw a lot of people play bleed gladiator on poe.ninja but not dual Axe like this build, does it have any reason ? https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2875553?fbclid=IwAR3k1nlFi8bZRJhMgvSyGrNI6yiomkNtP5lW-j_QiKk3hXM6zcYIbXD_yrM Thank you, [link] [comments]
Advice for my Mjolner Discharge Assassin Posted: 01 Nov 2020 01:37 AM PDT I made this build the other night, wanting to sort of revive one of my old favorite builds that I used to play which was the Mjolner Discharge Jugg. I decided to go with an Assassin to see if I could push the damage further. I'll link the PoB for it below. So far, the build is pretty fun and it has pretty decent clear speed. Even in t15-16s, I have no big issues mowing through mobs thanks to the movement speed and elusive bonuses while I'm spinning around. There are couple of glaring problems, however. The first one being boss damage. My boss damage feels absolutely ABYSMAL. I recently got some gear to help boost my damage a little but I still take so long to kill bosses. The other thing is that it sometimes feels really rippy, like I'll get randomly popped by some mobs or bosses even when I have full endurance charges or soon after immortal call finishes. What I'm looking for help with is my single target damage and survivability. I want know if the gem links I'm running are okay or there need to be changes for gems that may be ineffective/useless in the build setup, and if there are any changes I need to make to my items/passive tree. Couple of things to note: -I realize that Mjolner is kind of a meme to build around when a normal CoC build is probably (definitely) better, but I want to continue to build around this item. -The build is definitely not complete yet. Right now, I am working towards my last two Jewel Socket nodes and any Life nodes to boost my hp a little more. I plan on probably gaining 8-10 more levels before I consider this build "done". -The PoB configs are set to damage vs Low Life mobs/Shaper/Guardians along with other general stuff (Max Endurance/Power charges etc) Here is the PoB, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you: https://pastebin.com/LfbLnsye [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Oct 2020 06:16 PM PDT Yo dudes So i just finished an elementalist spell slinger with blazing salvo x2 and fireball and a poets pen for WoC/Firewall and it was a ton of fun and stupid damage I was trying to theorycraft something for cold spells but prefer using an assassin (can use witch if i have to) Wasn't quite sure which spells would work out the best for the main 6L or even the utility spells but essentially what I have is something along the lines of Frostbolt - 6L Spellsling Ice spear - 4L Spellsling Ice spear (or FB) - 4L CoC Vortex/Frost bomb with inc aoe in poet pen Now as an assassin I wouldnt be able to use herald of ice unfortunatly but I get so much more movespeed compared to elementalist. Anyone have any pointers/ideas? [link] [comments]
Question about understanding PoB DPS Posted: 31 Oct 2020 08:10 AM PDT So yesterday I spent most of the day working on a new build (not one I made, I've just been buying gear and trying to optimize stats), and I was able to finally buy all of the gear for it. I updated the PoB with the gear I was buying as I was purchasing everything, so it should be fairly accurate as far as stats go, and I ended up with 603k total DPS. It's definitely on the low side, considering the build had like... over 1.5m dps I think when I started, but I only had 700c to work with, and I blew probably too much money on trying to craft an amulet (which I ironically forgot to annoint first so now I'm trying to panic sell my bank to get golden oils). My question is, what exactly does 600k dps represent? My "main" build is a Bleed Bow Gladiator, and PoB has the Bleed DPS listed as 281k, and the total DPS including bleed as 334k dps. Does that mean that this new build (Consecrated Path Chieftan) does almost twice as much damage as my bleed bow build? I get that there's other factors to take into effect, like since the new build is melee I won't have 100% uptime on my damage, but assuming I do, how much more damage will I be putting out than my bleed bow build? Another thing that confuses me is what affects the DPS. When crafting the amulet, if I ever hit crit multi on a roll, it was almost impossible to beat it unless I got another roll with crit multi. Like, just having 35% to crit multiplier added way more DPS than having something like "15% physical damage added to fire damage" plus "% fire penetration," which I'd assume would be a lot more damage overall. The build guide I'm following even has Crit Multi listed last as far as necessary amulet rolls go, so I'm worried I might have passed up on a lot of really good rolls because PoB told me that Crit Multi was king. Here's the PoB if you want to take a look at it, it has all of my gear listed: https://pastebin.com/Ji7CBGgS. As mentioned, the damage is really on the low side, mostly because of the gear I bought, I don't have an amulet annoint, and I messed around with the skills. I went with a 5-link chest and I couldn't get 5 reds so I had to comprimise with 3r2b which killed my DPS, but hopefully it'll hold me over until I get more cash. Also, I think I lost almost 300k dps by not using Berserk, but I don't really know how effective it would be, considering I'd need to sacrifice a red slot on consecrated path for Rage, and I'd have to worry about berserk uptime, would it be better to run rage? I really need to get a 6-link chest tbh but now I'm broke lol [link] [comments]
Fun builds if money isn't an object? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 02:59 PM PDT Hey all, So kind of through a lot of luck this league I essentially have unlimited money. I've had multiple high value drops from boss farming that resulted in me having over 300ex to play with this league. I started the league out as Toxic Rain trickster and then swapped to Carrion Golem elementalist. I am now leveling 94, almost 95 on the elementalist and have farmed every boss in the game except for uber elder (soon), but I was looking for interesting builds I could try out. I enjoy builds with a solid balance of clear speed and boss damage, and that can scale fairly well. I really loved Windripper back in the day for map farming, or Frost blades (fast builds). Golems are a ton of fun for the super high ST / very relaxed play style. Any suggestions? I have been out of POE for a while until this league so im not super in the loop on all the possibilities [link] [comments]
Righteous Fire: Staff or Shield? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 06:04 PM PDT Hi all, I'm looking at trying RF for the first time. I have seen people playing with a mix of staffs or sceptre with shield. Was hoping for some information on the differences. On a side note. Any tips/tricks for starting out with RF also appreciated. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Oct 2020 12:00 PM PDT I'm looking for a build that I can take to 100. Looking for something face-roll that I don't have much chance of dying but is a speedy map/heist clearer. Have about 150ex budget and already have HH and Badge. Thanks =) [link] [comments]
Looking for a very tanky and safe Heist runner for endgame grind Posted: 31 Oct 2020 01:46 PM PDT I'm pretty much done with the league. Just farming the last parts for 40 challenges completed. Getting tired of running Heists (need to do about 150+ more) on my Aurastacker Scion (Arc). I also have a elemental hit slayer and self curse HH Occultist. So the budget for the build can be pretty high. About 60-70 ex easily. And it can use the headhunter I already have. The most important thing is that it doesn't die easily and is somewhat fast in Heists. Preferrably someting where I would have to level a new character. Any ideas are appreciated! Edit: really thinking about Righteous Fire right now. Realized that I am too lazy for the (great) suggestions so far. [link] [comments]
Is there an up to date guide to a HoI autobomber? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 07:46 AM PDT It seems like everyone switched to HoT autobombers using Storm Secret now, and while that's probably stronger I've already done that and I don't like the new Inpulsa explosion effect nearly as much as my HoI MTX effects. I don't really need a full guide, but I would like to know the best way to set up HoT and HoI. I'm using an Assassin dual wielding Void Batteries for the max power charges, and I have some Horror crafted gloves with +3.5% crit chance, but which herald should go in there? HoT so it can kill more reliably, or HoI so it can chain better? Or both and only use the same 2 support gems for both? Also, what support gems for each should I use? [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Oct 2020 04:41 PM PDT I've been playing Path of Exile for a week and I finally got through all the Acts, but now I feel that I need a better build for progressing in maps (requiring no currency to start). Kay's spectre and Wrecker of Days seem like two builds that might work for me, though I've seen people mention position blade vortex on a few older Reddit posts. [link] [comments]
Help building Blood and Sand Gladiator? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 08:52 AM PDT I don't have much experience building characters and I'm working on a Blood and Sand Gladiator that utilizes Bleed and Blind effects, plus The Agnostic for healing. The current build I'm going for is Ferrul's Bite, Ferrul's Fur, Ferrul's Pounce, Ferrul's Chase, Soul Taker, Atziri's Foible, 2 Essence Worms, then a rare One-Handed Axe and Rusted Sash. Ferrul's Bite and Pounce have Bleed and Blind support, Ferrul's Fur makes it so I don't reserve mana for Aspect of the Cat, Ferrul's Chase is honestly only there because I'm using the rest of the Ferrul armor, Essence Worms are for slotting my stance skills to get rid of the mana reservation, Atziri's Foible gives extra mana and doubles mana regen for The Agnostic, and Soul Taker lets me continue to use melee skills if I have insufficient mana, so I don't need to worry about The Agnostic draining all my mana. My passive tree tries to maximize axe and bleed damage, plus some mana regen nodes and The Agnostic. I'm running Blood and Sand, Flesh and Stone, Perforate, Lacerate, and Bladestorm, with Bloodlust on Perforate, and Bleed+Blind Supports on Bladestorm and Lacerate. Any recommendations for how to improve the build? [link] [comments]

Any advice on a consecrated path build i'm working on. Really fun build but lacks single target Posted: 31 Oct 2020 03:58 PM PDT First of all here is the pob, https://pastebin.com/fVSb7pSX This is the third build ive made myself, the first two I was really focussed on making the builds competent but this build i wanted to have a little more fun. I liked the look of the saviour sword and its been awesome to mess around with it. The build clears t16 really well even though im only lvl 89 currently, its also a lot of fun leaping around yelling like a cave man and smashing things. It really lacks boss kill though, some map bosses are a struggle. I have another character that does sirus easily so i was hoping to just this character enough single target that map bosses arent an issue for it. Any tips would be much appreciated! The plan for the next few points as i level up to around 94 would be to just fill out the life nodes behind start of marauder location unless theres other suggestions. [link] [comments] |
