Similar to barrage, could you use lancing steel to proc COC? Posted: 29 Nov 2020 10:37 PM PST trying to theorycraft what can be used for COC since im tired of cyclone. EDIT/UPDATE: Works well, literally just the melee version of barrage. should work epecially well with cospris since lancing steel only works with swords/axes Big issue seems to be sacrificing a jewel socket for faster call of steel reloads. Shattering steel seems to be an okay option as well. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Nov 2020 10:26 AM PST https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2013175 That was the original build I used to play and god damn it was fun. The progression and ramp up on power was just awesome and it was pretty tanky too. the core of it was Slayer Overleech lasting minutes due to the Obliteration wand pops, RF so you could just run as fast as possible and clear entire packs, hidden potential to boost global damage (oblit pops) then dark pact to clear bosses (sustained by the crazy overleech). I'm wondering if a Deaths Oath build with obliteration wands would work roughly the same. Or if there's another RF build that has the defenses and stats to make it work without abusing the overleech that's no longer part of the game. [link] [comments] |

Replica Eternity Shroud + Obliteration Pathfinder, looking for feedback. Posted: 29 Nov 2020 12:40 PM PST Hey all, as the league is winding down got a friend to fund a vaguely shitty build, a Replica Eternity Shroud Phys+Chaos Power Siphon Obliteration Pathfinder. I really like the idea of this chest, but without conversion abuse like normal EtShroud has with CotB, I haven't been able to squeeze too much damage out of it. I've built a tree with 1mill DPS (flasks up, but it's Pathfinder) but pretty minimal survivability, any ideas on how I could either get more damage out of this or more defensive layers without sacrificing too much damage? Also I like using influenced uniques, so some of the build is compromised to use more unusual elder influenced items, but I don't think that's compromised the build *too* much compared to better rares in the slots. (double influenced Ming's Heart is the coolest item I've ever had) The main damage scaling I've been building for is bonus phys as Chaos, and adding flat phys to attacks, then crit and power charges, but again I can't find a great way to get A LOT of flat phys. [Endless Delve] BANE (EB/MOM/ACRO) using Zombies as Defensive Layer Posted: 29 Nov 2020 05:36 PM PST Anyone wanna take a stab at improving this gigantic meme? For those who doubt, I can just tell you that I've cleared all content with CA using Zombies as a defensive layer and the zombies are nice as , although definitely not worth the investment. However, I really do enjoy the playstyle of DoT combined with something up front tanking for me, and I can confirm it does work surprisingly well. I've also played Occultists both Hybrid and EB/MOM and I have found Occultist EB/MOM superior with a source of energy leech, which ED does provide, although I still think I'm a bit short on ES regen and I don't like not being able to take Wicked Ward, so IDK. I really don't want to be CI or Hybrid though in a full Delve situation, unless you can find some way to get Enduring Cry + Call to Arms + ZB. You can change whatever you want but keep the Occultist, keep Bane, keep the Zombies (Zombies need 40k EHP vs Physical and 100k EHP vs Elemental to be useful with at least 16k Life and 2% Regen, this is the bare minimum in my experience, and even still requires resummon at times.) So what would be some good SSF league starters right now that scale up to A8? Posted: 29 Nov 2020 12:52 PM PST I'm thinking about a fresh SSF start with the goal to kill Sirus A8 asap. I've come up with the following possible builds: -Cremation Necro -bladefall/bladeblast assassin/chieftain -GS/earthshatter champion What other builds would you suggest, or of these ones do you recommend any? Endless Mayhem Build Ground slam vs earthshatter Posted: 29 Nov 2020 01:52 PM PST Which is better for the mayhem event? Are there any better builds than Zizarans GS champion? Looks like I can't edit the name of the post, but I meant mayhem not delve [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Nov 2020 06:34 AM PST I'd like to make one soon, but I have no idea how. I have a budget of about 3.5ex (which I'm guessing isnt enough but I dont mind a lil bit of grinding). If someone can explain the mechanics or link a guide it would be appreciated! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Nov 2020 01:59 PM PST Hey, im looking for suggestion for character designed specifically to run grand heists very quick and reliably. So need to be quite tanky, with decent damage and very fast runner. I was thinking about some pathfinder build but i never played ranger so i have no idea how to build it correctly. Looking for a archmage support build Posted: 29 Nov 2020 05:06 AM PST I quite like the concept of scaling damge by mana, ive alredy tried enkis arc witch. Any help is welcome. Also, i dont have much budget only around an ex cause ive just spend it all on a build [link] [comments] |
Confused about upgrade path on Aurastacker Posted: 29 Nov 2020 08:40 AM PST Hi - I've got a decent build going right now: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/Assmilke/TaterStacker?i=0&search=name%3Dtaters A few folks said to load up on ES%, Crit Multi, -RMR cobalt jewels so that I could make the switch to Hands of the High Templar gloves, so I got the jewels. I have around 220% crit multi without Maligaro's now. When I put a +4 HoHT gloves into POB, no matter what I do I seem to take a massive dps hit (like 34m to 21m). Obviously me running Vaal RF is unorthodox and where the lion's share of my burst dps is coming from, so perhaps I'm missing something there; even though I have saved a ton of currency this league I'm pretty bad at theory-crafting and understanding mechanics, so usually when I see myself doing something unorthodox I think 'I'm wrong but I don't know why'. If I keep Vaal RF or if I swap it out for another Enhance like I see a lot of folks on ninja doing and move my Empower links to gloves and current glove links to helm I take a huge dps hit, at least in POB. Even when I swap Precision and Zealotry like most folks have (is how I'm doing it now wrong?). I do hit 90% phys reduction which is nice and I have been missing since I upgraded to Grace on Prism Guardian. Maybe the RF dps is misleading and showing more of a spike than I'm actually getting? Or am I supposed to just keep Maligaro's maybe? Or maybe I just need to find more crit multi? Where would I look besides on Nebulis? Maybe some non-cobalt multi jewels and lose some ES (which I get on new gloves)? And some levels/points to get to node on left for Transcendent Flesh? Please help - I am the kind of player to grind up until the day the league ends trying to upgrade my build but I feel really uncertain about next steps. Thanks [link] [comments] |
Need help to improve my GC Miner in Heist Posted: 29 Nov 2020 08:10 AM PST Hey everyone, I'm playing my first mines build, started pretty late as SSF and after playing a while and finding a few valuable div cards I decided to migrate everything to trade league. edit: since I can't get pastebin to work (link instantly expires or is deleted), I posted the PoB code into hastebin instead: https://hastebin.com/ulaqifafex.apache First of all, is my passive tree OK like this? I know I "wasted" two points in the Doom Cast node but right now I don't know where to put them. About the gear I'm pretty unsure about what to improve with which amount of currency. I have around 25 ex at my disposal. A few things I can think of:
Thanks a bunch and stay sane :) Roots edit: I just noticed that PoB doesn't show the allocated skills from my Thread of Hope jewel. No idea how to get this to work but I've got 6 skills allocated there... all in all I'm no pro at using PoB but the items, gem links and passives (with the jewel exception) should work. Posted: 29 Nov 2020 09:33 AM PST Hey, I'm planning to try out Frost Blades raider for mayhem but my trial runs have been absolutely garbage so far, the single target damage is too lacking and even the clear speed is nothing to write home about, not to mention claws are an annoying weapon to level with. I thought about using viper strike as single-target damage but it doesn't work. I'm also not too keen on leveling as a bow build since the trees have nothing in common. My best guess would be to take the same route as Asmodeus's recent CA TR guide and use TR ballista but as I won't be scaling chaos damage idk about that. Do you have any suggestions ? I'm fairly beginner (heist is my first league) so maybe I'm missing something. [link] [comments] |
