| Posted: 19 Dec 2020 09:37 PM PST Hello all, I was trying a cool build for Heist, but I can't seem to make it work. It's Esoro's Arc Assassin build (can't find the POB link but I have it saved on my own POB, don't know how to share though sorry). My issue is that the single target (aka boss) damage is awful. Bosses take so many casts to kill, which puts me in a lot of danger due to all the spell echo going on. Can anyone offer some advice on why my boss dps is so bad, and how to improve it? Thank you! | Question about Penance Brand scaling (Mostly PoB) Posted: 19 Dec 2020 05:14 PM PST I'm SSF'ing on the Flashback event right now, and i just came across Penance Brand (for whatever reason never touched the skill before), so anyway, ive placed my char on PoB, and, i don't really know what to scale the damage, energy pulse, pulse explosion, etc. Can anyone give me a light on what i should be aiming for, and what links ? Also, is it SSF viable ? I'm playing Assassin for the easy crit and easy pathing with the brand damage, but if it's not good i could change, since i'm super early (lvling) is no problem to jump to something else. | Help me pick a fireball/flamewall ascendancy Posted: 19 Dec 2020 09:10 AM PST Hey, I'm looking to play a balanced fireball + flamewall character but I'm not sure what ascendancy to pick. I've seen people post fireball deadeye characters which look really fun with good clearspeed and decent boss damage, but those are probably pretty squishy. I've also seen fireball tricksters, which seem to do better on boss damage and survivability, but they lack clearspeed in my opinion. I pretty much only play trade league, so I'm wondering what ascendancy would give the best balance between clearspeed, survivability and bossing? Would also be cool if I could leaguestart with this. | Posted: 19 Dec 2020 02:20 PM PST Hey guys, this is my first season of PoE and im trying to learn as much as i can before next season starts. Im really looking forward to my first full season. Now I am playing a LL/High-ES Carrion Golem build that I followed by this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TU7zUa-FheY&ab_channel=VonViktonhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TU7zUa-FheY&ab_channel=VonVikton path of building: My character: https://pastebin.com/kMJsL8DS (200k dps) If you pull up both of these youll notice that his main skill (Carrion gollem) does like 2.4 mil dps and mine does around 200k. I know hes extremely geared and nearly min maxed but i feel as though when i ask other peoples dps they always say its way higher than mine and i have a pretty good setup i thought... so if anyone could take a look at my setup and tell me if im doing something wrong or what.. Ive asked around and generally haven't got very useful information. Hoping to get some answers here on reddit. Thanks in advance to anyone taking the minute to help!! Ive also added my buddys LL H-ES Carrion build just for a more varied and general better comparisons. keep in mind these 3 characters pretty much have all the same exact gear beside some pretty big things like +1lvl shavorones, 1% mana reserve jewels etc.. | Posted: 19 Dec 2020 10:59 AM PST Seems like assassin will give a certain baseline of offensive power that will probably be good. And elusive seems very strong. I have spent prob 250-300 exalts on this character and its really, really good map clear but not able to facetank most t16 bosses obviously. | Dual Strike-Zerker - Will it live? Posted: 19 Dec 2020 06:46 AM PST TLDR: Will this build stay alive +T16 and against end game bosses with the defensive stats i have? I made a dual strike-berserker build plan based on soul taker axe and frostbreath mace items synergy, soul taker chills frostbreath does double dmg. Maligaro's virtuosity gloves for crit chance that is lost by blitz ascendancy. And the dual strike jewel of course for indimidate and splash damage. My goal is to be able to kill sirus. Rest of the damage is with PoB power per point feature. What i wonder about is, do i stay alive with this much % max. life and % inc. armour. I tried to mimic inc. life and armour stats from other berserker builds. other than these defenses i will have fortify, maybe some endurance charges from enduring cry or end. char. on stun+leap slam set up. i have life leech effects are not removed at full life with glorius vanity timeless jewell. Some kind of guard skill set w/ or w/o cwdt gem and i will test with imbalanced guardian. %18 chance to block attacks but i dont think that matters. I made a few builds in the past and the problem is i can't seem to understand defensive mechanisms. For example, i made a dual strike, berserker, claw build. defenses were based on evasion,kintsugi,wind dancer,elusive(from nightblade and no witnesses), acrobatics, phase acrobatics, fortify, cwdt+im.call. and i kept dying to random one shots or one shot and a small another shot. I frustrated because i thought i shouldn't get hit that often and even if i get hit the fortify,wind dancer, kintsugi and imm. call should have kept me from dying. My hp was around 4.1k with that evasion-dodge based build. After a guy in dc channel helped me reaching 5k hp -with changing the skill tree- didn't die as many times. Now i believe at least 5k hp is a must if you dont have hard damage reduction mechanics. [link] [comments]  | ||

I have low life stuff, like 6link shavronne's, ES gear for all slots, but the build can also be life based, I'm open to trying new things. | Posted: 19 Dec 2020 04:53 AM PST So I have just upgraded my pc from a relic to a pretty decent one, went from 1080p to 1440 and 180+fps. I am wanting a build to play flashback event that has the most visually appealing play style, big screen clear etc. I've never reached end game over the years I've played so would be nice to be able to do shaper/elder with it too but not essential. I'm a pretty casual player so have never taken the time to learn the crafting system and have always just bought the items I needed. I'm open to any type of build other than summoner, it's the one play style I have not enjoyed. Thanks for any suggestions :) [link] [comments]  |
