    I can put up with breaches being nerfed to have less drops, and takes good RNG to spawn in recent spots, but man do I hate how only one can be active at a time. It's so slow to run them, for what, a couple of splinters? Is it still due to technical reasons in 2020 approaching 2021? Or dev thinks breaches at its current state would be too OP if multiple could be active simultaneously?

    How to expand FoV ( VERY EASY )

    1. Close your PoE.
    2. nvidia control panel > adjust the size and position of the desktop > mark "aspect ratio"
    3. nvidia control panel > change resolution > customize > mark "enable resolutions not displayed by the video" > create custom resolution > 1920x800 > test
    4. Done. Open your game, put it on fullscreen and select your brand new resolution 1920x800.

    Obs: You dont need to use the 1920x800 resolution on your pc, you just need to create, so it will appear in the PoE settings. You can use your default resolution on desktop.

    I took a little time to clear my head and play some other games before the lead up to the events, and when I got back I was sort of stunned by the overwhelming negativity on this subreddit. Every discussion post is phrased like this "what do you not like" or "how does ____ dissatisfy you". These are intrinsically negative posts that seem to breed negativity, as made evident by the comments on them.

    Remember that this is just a game and it's not ever going to be perfect. If something is causing you stress or to stay stuck in a negative loop then you need to break up your routine and reevaluate your perspective.

    Stress is a killer folks, take some time to elevate your mood here and there. Video games should be fun!

    For Those That Haven't Played a Mayhem Event before... IT'S A FULL ON LOOT 'SPLOSION!

    There is a reason its a void event. You will be showered with more uniques and currency than you can imagine. All starting in Act 1. Expect many Tabula's from Mud flats to Goldrim's on the Ledge. Loot is non-stop while you interact with Mayhem.

    You will more than likely be able to deck out your build before even finishing the acts if you decide to interact with the event mods.

    This is the event you don't want to miss!

    Mayhem Tips & Tricks (no build guides)

    What are some good tips and tricks you guys can think of for Mayhem?

    For example farming the first zones if you get exiles on them for a easy Tabula Rasa as they will drop more uniques is alot more efficient than farming blood aquaducts. Any others?

    Last night, I had a dream I was playing Path of Exile, when I got a very strange drop. A 2 handed sword (I think it was an exquisite blade but I don't remember exactly) with 20 linked sockets. One of the link lines went off the side of the item and connected to my helmet (which had 8 linked sockets) potentially allowing up to a 28L skill. I took a screenshot and then transferred it out of my brain and onto my PC using dark magic: https://i.imgur.com/6WwiNg2.jpg

    Seriously though, I did have a PoE dream with a 20L weapon that was also linked to an 8L helmet. Friday needs to hurry up and arrive so I can play Mayhem instead of making terrible shitposts.

    CA/TR Pathfinder vs ED/Cont Trickster for Mayhem

    Hello

    Im no racer, I play for fun.

    I am wondering what are your thoughts on this. I played only ED/Cont from those two, and I loved the clear, hated long bossing though. There are few points which Im not sure what is overall better for:

    - Leveling

    From videos I saw, CA/TR Pathfinder is somewhat consistent as you play and evolve the same stuff from lvl one which is something I like. ED/Cont seems to have more transitions in the process of leveling. Personally I prefer as least as possible to keep my head occupied with when to switch to what.

    - Taking into consideration Mayhem mods

    Since we can encounter: 20 Rogue Exiles, 20 Strongboxes, 20 Invasion Bosses, 10 Breaches, 20 Tormented Spirits or 20 Harbingers

    CA/TR PF sounds better for "bossing" but you tell me - can we consider rogue exiles, invasion bosses, ghosted rares and harbingers as bosses? Will the ED Cont Trickster take longer to kill those to the extent that I will feel that I should have taken CA/TR Pathfinder?

    - Endgame

    Not sure if we can even consider to enjoy lategame as it is 1 week throwaway league.. I am no way some veteran grinder in Poe - I mean I did get HH when I set myself to it in one league, but im more like average player. Id like to get to maps for a personal challenge under 6 hours though just to see if I can prove myself to be capable of being nolifer lul.

    Exploding crabs causes them to not drop loot?

    I'm using Asenath's gentle touch to cause explosion. Just opened an essence monolith with 4 essences. Boss was a crab. Everything exploded and no essences dropped (disabled loot filter to make sure). I also noticed that regular crabs killed this way may not drop loot.

    [Feature Request] Can shift+right clicking tabs in the sidebar send tabs to the far right?

    Mayhem and the missing leagues: potpourri zones

    Lots of people seemed understandably disappointed but understanding that we wouldn't be getting 20 Legions or Blights or Abysses in our Mayhem maps. Instead we got 6 other leagues. Why not a 7th that combines a bunch of the missing ones? Potpourri:

    • 1 Legion
    • 1 Blight
    • 1 Abyss
    • 2 Shrines
    • Onslaught
    • Beyond
    • Metamorph

    The first 5 require 'terrain space' to spawn but should be able to fit into every map? Then 3 leagues on top of that to spice things up.

    I'd target that zone over Tormented Spirits or Invasion or Rogues or Breaches. Would it be better than Strongboxes or Harbinger? If so something could be cut out.

    Leveling Help

    I'd like to play witch in the event tomorrow. I've looked everywhere for help to know what gem progression should look like leveling her with Orb of Storms and Mines. Can any fine soul link a guide or help me find them? I'm especially interested in the first 20-30 levels. Thank you!
