Things That Irritate Me Personally Posted: 20 Jun 2021 08:06 AM PDT - Minions do not regain health in town or hideout. - Jeweller's Orbs have nothing to do with jewellery. - Navali has a quest icon every time I pick up a single silver coin. Yes, Navali, I know, silver coins mean prophecies, I learned that the very first time I found one, jeez. - We have to level up every new character. One time is obligatory, fine, but after that we should have the option to create a new character directly at level 70, and just do skill tree, bandits and labs. The technology is there, look at the PVP's "fresh level 28 character". - Having to manually click the annoying forever flashing button between Shop and Mouse 1, and turn off tutorial hints every new character, even after a hundred characters across 15 leagues. - Oh yeah. The annoying forever flashing button between Shop and Mouse 1 in every stream. - Heist locker not incorporated in stash. - Not being able to split currency while trade window is open. - Grown-ass men saying "Nani". Works with Cutedog. If you're not Cutedog, then don't. - We still don't know which is clever use of mechanics and which is exploit. - The first time we can have a 4-link is Vaal Oversoul in Act 2. Yet, 8 acts later, the quest reward for killing Innocence is still a 4-link. Should be at least 5. - This amount of clicking is ridiculous and it's about time something be done to address it. The visible items are 163. I counted. The clicks needed to collect that would be at least 200. And that's just half of the problem. The other half is that this same problem is only going to get worse, because with every new league we get new currency and other shit to pick up which is added to the already existing plethora of shit to pick up. Yet, when you go to Delve, a simple node with 12 azurite is vacuumed just by walking nearby. The technology is there, just apply it to everything that has a "Currency" tag. - White and blue item drops still exist beyond Act 1. Come on now, everything past Merveil should be rare and unique only, with some exceptions of course, i.e. flasks. Let's free up the CPU cycles needed to render 163 items just to be then hidden by filters. - 4 second Flask piano still exists and takes a physical toll on our hands. Why should only the clicking hand suffer when we can piano 5 flasks, 5 skills and 5 ctrl-skills with the other hand too? Jeezus. Either permit flask macros officially, or make the flasks last like 20 seconds. - Having to recast auras after every rip. Why? Even more buttons to press for our already hurting hands? - When you put an item in a public tab to sell it, the first option when you right click it is "None". You then have to click 3 more times to set a price. Great, more clicking... It should default directly inside the price field, with "Negotiable price" preselected. - Doors. Not in Heist tho, I get that, but... In maps and labs as well? Come on. - Proximity shield. Especially in closed arena type mechanics and endless spawning of monsters. - Allies cannot die. Especially in closed arena type mechanics and endless spawning of monsters. - Oh yeah. Closed arena type mechanics and endless spawning of monsters. In general. - If your build guide contains Headhunter, multiple synthesized/fractured/multicrafted/all white socket gear pieces, some Watcher's Eye, specific corrupts/implicits on gear, any socket Voices and Bottled Faith... do not mark it as League Start and SSF viable. Please. - Oh yeah, on the topic of build guides, do not check everything in PoB as if it's up permanently and say "I gots all the millions of deeps lulz!" - Last but not least on this list - people that make lists. Like, hellooo? Who made you center of the universe, jeezuz h christ, take your list and shove it so far up you can taste it. Right? [link] [comments]

Regarding early/mid/late game and build prices. I feel like I am playing a different game. Posted: 20 Jun 2021 03:21 AM PDT Greetings exiles, This is something I've been wondering for a while and wanted to know how the rest of the community sees things. TL;DR: I thought that "end game" meant red maps and Uber elder and that "expensive" build is around 20-30 ex. It seems I'm way off. Am I alone to think this? The longer version: I was watching a build guide and it had divided the guide into the default early, mid and end game. I of course thought I knew what those meant: -Early game is acts -Middle game is white/yellow maps -End game is red maps, A8 Sirius, Uber elder, Shaper Imagine my reaction when the guy started explaining that early game is killing uber elder, Sirius etc. What? How the heck is that early game? Isn't that game over right there? Final boss? The second part regards build pricing. Sure Poe ninja has pricing on all of the items and if we exclude the most expensive ones, like headhunter, I assumed that a not min-maxed but still good expensive build is around 20-30 ex. And that is on the high-end side. Imagine once again my reaction when I've ran into build guides that state these items "Aren't even that expensive: 20 ex, 30 ex, this one was bit higher, 50 ex..." For a single item? Is this just the talk of the famous 1%? Do everyone else share these approximations? If I combine all the items and currency of my all characters from the past 5-10 leagues I might just hit something like 30-40 exalts. This is when I realized that I am playing a totally different game than some (most?) seem to be playing. I know most of the players don't frequent reddit and even here most players are lurkers. But still I want to ask is this how most of you see the game? And if so do you hit these levels of wealth and progress every league? It also makes me wonder that when GGG buffs or nerfs skills/monsters/items, who are they aimed for? For people like me who can barely scrape few exalts a league and are happy if we reach red maps or to those people who begin the game after hitting red maps and bosses while also spending hundreds of exalts on a single build? This also ties in with crafting. Since GGG really seems to want us to craft our own items it makes me wonder how am I supposed to achieve that? I'll never have the currency to burn on crafting when I'm struggling with the build alone. In the end PoE is not a competative game so none of this should matter as long as I am having fun but I am just curious about how most of you see game progression and build pricing. Let’s talk. I really miss harvest(Long) Posted: 20 Jun 2021 11:05 AM PDT [TL;DR] The game became way too much time consuming and resource eating than harvest pre-nerf and I think it's not healthy for both PoE and the players. I used to play a lot in previous leagues like at least 6 to 7 hours a day. Back then (ever since the introduction to harvest crafting), I had the feeling of gradually upgrading my character's gear. I'm not a really old player, I began playing since blight. So, I am quite not used to the traditional metacrafting and exalt slamming / beast crafting. Felt too risky/costly for me. In ritual, I really enjoyed the revamped harvest because it gave me a reason to grind for the crafts I needed for builds that I aimed for. I looked up craftofexile and poedb for mods and planned how I would craft the item and after the planning was done, I grinded with purpose. Ultimatum had been a hard league for me, well I didn't play that much. Only 15 challenges done, reached A5 and quit playing. At first, I thought it was a simple burnout and didn't play the game for a while, but recently I have returned and tried to fresh start with a new character. However, I felt like the game isn't respecting my time usage. After the nerf of harvest, there are no no-brainer way to fix an item that would have been a cakewalk before like 2 awakener orb'd suffix with a bad res boots. Now there is no guaranteed way to fix this boots, and the most likely way is to "non influence to influence" on the boots which is by itself really rare and expensive, plus not even guaranteed that it wouldn't give the boots another useless influence suffix. I am all-for the "taking risks" on item crafting but ever since the awakener of the atlas patch, I feel like traditional crafting needs to be addressed. Before the new 4 influences, mobs were easier to cope with, and items were not expected to be perfect since the content of the game did not require such gears. However, ever since the introduction of Delirium, the tide has turned. Mobs got rippy as hell, much more on-death effects, bosses got tankier with lower visibility of their skills(I'm talking about you Sirus). After that, here comes Maven and elevated mods. Harvest really smoothed out these "necessary" gear progression and I know it's still quite powerful if you have a lot of exalts for pref/suffixes cannot be changed. The problem is, that there is not much people with those amount of currency to utilize. Plus, am I the only one feeling the build diversity this league is really similar to heist? It feels like everyone's back to playing CoC, Cyclone, Aurastacking(either spark or summoner), or some sort of MoM build. So, how was your league guys? How did it go and did you enjoy the "new" progression? What are your hopes for the next league? [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Jun 2021 03:03 AM PDT Got no friends who play PoE so.. It feels good! Thought it would be way past my ability to get her down, but getting her on the second try feels amazing. I got to the last phase deathless, but then died a couple of times to the beams and pools. My build doesn't have much regen and I can't leech, so I rely on recovering from hitting stuff (Tinkerskin) which made running out of flask charges pretty brutal. Only "failed" one memory game, and that was only because I died to a pool before I got to the last part. Awesome fight, sadly it's very scarce to get to the fight for someone who plays as bad as I do. As a reward I got nothing of value, but that is to be expected from a PoE boss fight. Anyway, just felt like telling someone. [link] [comments]

Happy Father's Day! Forever Exiled's 88th Episode of Your Weekly PoE Podcast is Up and Ready! Posted: 20 Jun 2021 06:17 AM PDT https://www.foreverexiled.com/no-stash-no-problem/ Happy Father's Day, fathers! And a happy day to everyone else as well! The latest episode of your weekly PoE Podcast, Forever Exiled, is posted and ready to go! Episode 88! The Eric Lindros episode. We had SUCH a fun week this week! Our Forever Exiled Ultimatum private league was surprisingly way more fun than we expected this past week and a half. Normally, we like to make the mods of the league annoying for players so we can mock them...but this "No Stash and No Magic or Rare drops" league was so fun. GGG had a slow week when it came to Path of Exile announcements so we took the opportunity to discuss our 3.14 private league experience. It brought up some interesting subjects, as all PoE conversations do, so hopefully, you enjoyed this weeks' episode as much as we did! Thanks for listening everyone!
