With spell cascade there only seems to be 2 scythes and with the awakened version only 4 scythes. I thought I must have misunderstood how cascade works, but then frostbomb dropped 5 bombs when i checked... Anyone have insight on this? | Posted: 23 Aug 2021 04:50 PM PDT Hey guys, this weekend I've decided to try a farming method that is quite popular, but still never tested it. It is farming Blight inside maps in Valdo's Rest's region using Exotic Platinum Wathcstones. I did this video where I've talked about my run, but for those that prefer the writen version you can find it below. For this method I've bought 4 Exotic Platinum Valdo's Rest Watchstones, using the more oils and maps mod, allocated all the 3 Blight passives in the Region + the 2 Harbinger ones as well. For the Uncharted Realm I actually only have 2 points so far, from Maven, and I've put them on 25% increased effect of Watchstones. The investment with Watchstones was 4 exalteds, but this could also be considered a loan, since you can sell the Watchstones after you've done farming! Then I've bought 20 Polished Blight Scarabs at 6-7c each, I've live searched the trade + bulk bought others, so for Scarabs our total investment was around 130c (1 Exalted). I've chosen to run Underground Sea Map, which is a T16 map and very easy to obtain it via Orb of Horizon, this way we will never run out of maps. This sustain is so easy that I didn't include it in the investment, but to make justice I've also didn't consider the map drops as profit (and I've got around 3-4 maps per run). I've used Awakened Sextants in all my runs. So 25 Awakened Sextants to all 20 runs is around 50c investment. I've run the maps with 20 quality + Alch + Vaal. This is around 50c more investment in total (Chisel, Alch and Vaal). Then I'd put the map + Polished Scarab and use 2 Sacrifice Fragments (you could go without them or even with other scarabs, but it is a niche choice). To complete the challenges I've also went with "Fortune Favors the Brave" in each map, counting another 60c investment and tottaling around 6.5 Exalteds investment. In return, this was the total loot. According to Exilence I've made 1438,06 Chaos from this. Exilence do not recognize Expedition League currency so this should be way more if you sell Logbooks, reroll currency and whatnot. I also farmed some decent jewels and put them on a dump tab, but I'm not counting them in the profit! This is not an INSANE profit nor an insane farming method, but it proved to be quite effective to me, and to be honest I had a lot of fun doing it so I really recommend it to you guys if you have a build that can comfortably farm blight (I actually failed 3 or 4 of Blights because I'm honestly dumb, so the profit should be even higher). One quick note: I've got a Hunter's Exalted orb from one of the Conquerors that I did in between the runs which was quite lucky, but if you remove it from the profit it still around 1200c which is quite good to be honest, since this is an easy farming method that doesn't require a lot to be done. You could also sell all the Watchstones after doing this run for gaining your 4 ex investment back, pumping our gains to +520c! But for myself, I'll do another 20 or 30 runs and see how far can this go! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Best XP/hour strategies in SSF Posted: 24 Aug 2021 01:41 AM PDT I'm currently level 99 in SSF softcore and considering pushing to me first 100. Since 5ways and breachstone rotas are not an option in SSF I'm wondering what your usual strats are for XP farming. I'm playing SST glad which isnt the fastest mapper but definitely not slow and it can handle quite dangerous content too. Does the heist thing still work? How does it compare to other methods these days? Is it valdos rest with betrayal and harbingers? I've personally been wondering about the +3 area level in abyssal depths node as it creates area lvl 87 which should reduce the xp penalty a lot. Also, sulphite farming to just delve all the way would be super safe but quite slow (around 10m per hour at 99) and boring. but may be faster than other methods if they cause a death or two. | A Quick guide on how to Budget SST-Cold Conversion Posted: 23 Aug 2021 01:02 PM PDT Hello, recently i saw alot of questions regarding the Cold-SST Raider builds and how to avoid some stuff that is meta right now. Alot of people seems to struggle to get a decent budget version, so i just want to showcase the stuff that i found, when i tried to make a budget build work. I started with a 5ex budget. I bought a Lioneyes (6l) and a decent Shield for 1ex. Also a Taming, and decent rolled Darkrays. Now to the interesting part, the cold conversion: There are alot of Options you can go with. Watchers Eye + 25% Gloves + Passivetree (Super expensive 15ex+) 50% Unique Gloves + Passivetree (Missing 10% Conversion/is the cheapest option) (1c) Crusader Weapon with 30%Conversion to cold + Conversion Gloves 35% + Passive Tree (30c-1ex) Explaination on that : Since the Veiled mods you roll are higher then the crafts you can cet 35% Conversion on some Gloves. There are cheap ones on trade with life and Conversion. And a Crusader Weapon cann also roll phys as extra lightning. That Option is like 30c if you go for Cheap ones. The Rest you can fill out with rares, Clusterjeweles should be like 2.5ex for all, you can roll them yourself aswell, but you need to do some research on those! Gl and Hf [link] [comments]  | ||

| Would it be worth it to make a dedicated character for div card farming in Acts? Posted: 23 Aug 2021 10:12 PM PDT I'm playing ssf most of this league and as the title stated I was wondering would it be worth it to make a dedicated frost blade raider to just run acts 1-10 for divination cards for various uniques such as "The Tower" or would it be better to just keep pushing maps and hope for good luck? I farmed Lioneye's Vision in Act 6 and it wasn't too bad but I have no idea how reliable farming other cards are. Any advice would be welcome. [link] [comments]  | ||

I am seeing on poe.ninja that they are rarelly used, and if used there are two options Earthshatter or Cyclone. Having used Earthshatter last league to clear all content, how good is nowdays after the damage nerfs? | Spell Echo: regular vs awakened Posted: 24 Aug 2021 02:56 AM PDT Hey everyone. So I'm playing eye of winter self-cast occultist (fun build for D2 nostalgia but horrible as league start, don't repeat my mistakes) and I'm revisiting my gems. I played with Unleash for quite some time, but figured that I like spell echo gameplay much more. So the question is: should I invest in awakened version. Right now regular spell echo states that you deal 10% less dmg, while awakened is -20% with 25% chance to deal double damage on 2nd cast. Let's say I deal 100 damage and cast a spell 4 times (8 times with repeats) Spell echo: 90 x 8 = 720 damage Awakened spell echo: 80 x 7 + 160 = 720 damage. As we see, one of 4 repeats being double just brings the gem up to the level of regular SE and that's it. All we win is some minor cast speed and that's it. I respecced into CoC Ice Nova inquis by using the Poe.ninja ladder. My clear speed is excellent, can clear full T16s without much issue, however my DPS is seriously lacking on T16 bosses/conquerors/etc. I find myself getting tapped often and I'm looking for some advice. Right now I've got about 5 exalts to fix up my build a little, open to selling gear I'm wearing to take this a different direction.
