Seismic Trap is the sleeper build of the league.

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 02:17 PM PDT

I started with this build, after messing with blade trap on day one, and I have not looked back at all. So far I'm 37/40 and working on the last 3. Its powerful and pretty safe as a Saboteur, and I just wanted to bring some more attention to it, because I definitely think its overlooked.

Getting started is pretty cheap, and its off meta, so while some of the top tier gear is quiet expensive its nothing compared to something like FR totems.

Exsanguinate for clear and mapping, which uses life to cast anyway, so no mana concerns. Get a pair of Deerstalker boots and you have a 5link that can carry you into maps easily.

Seismic trap is your 6link and with a little practice can easily cover the entire screen with ground pumping death. Eventually you'll aim for some kind of 6+ link helmet.

    Here's the PoB: https://pastebin.com/p4WhTKT6

This build is currently worth about 40ex, but could easily get going for under 10ex. The main starting costs would be Cold Iron Point daggers, a Tinkerskin and Deerstalker boots.

I'd love to answer any questions about the build.

What's up with builds at PoE.Ninja?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2021 02:00 AM PDT

    Hello

I tried copying a few builds from people at poe.ninja but some (if not most) have exceeded the skill point limit. Normally it's 123 at lv 100 (128 for scion) but when I tried copying Ice Crash raider, that person had 130 points used. How is that possible?

    Rolling an abyss jewel wander

    Posted: 29 Aug 2021 02:13 AM PDT

I found a YouTube video showcasing a wander build using shroud of lightless and stacking a bunch of abyss jewels. My question is how much DPS is enough for wander to map t16 comfortably and boss relatively easy. I don't plan on farming the feared so that's out. Another concern of mine is that the build is extremely squishy with not much mitigation besides some dodge and wind dancer. Is there a way to scale a wander's defense or it's just a con that wanders have?

Archmage arc assassin viable for all content?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2021 01:38 AM PDT

Saw on poe.ninja a few archmage arc assassins and i think the build is pretty strong and fun is it hard and expensive to do or is it somewhat noob friendly? Note i already have the expensive gloves and void batterys.

    Replica erandels embrace?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 11:31 PM PDT

The zombie version of the normal weapon although unlike normal skeletons it should be possible to scale there base hp to the stratosphere. Using cluster jewels and abyss jewels Replica siegebreakers has insane synergy adding more %dmg death explosions along with burning ground.

The main hurdle is zombie spawning with a longer cast time and requiring corpses it might be a pain. Cast time is fixable with unleash although the redeemer helmet isn't worth sacrificing an elder one and self cast desecrate for corpses

I don't think triad grip is even worth it for full fire conversion since the zombies themselves shouldn't be doing large amounts of dmg.

Also dual wielding is probably useless b/c you give up either a shaped life on block shield or a +minion life gem lvl wand just for zombies dying faster

Any thought or ideas to add?

[3.15] Blast Rain + Focused Artillery Ballista + Lightning Arrow Raider

    Posted: 29 Aug 2021 03:00 AM PDT

Finished updating the guide to 3.15

I made this build in 3.14. The 3.15 nurfs cut its dps in half. So i started using Focused Artillery Ballista along with Blast Rain and Lightning Arrow. It brought the dmg back to higher than what it was before the nurfs. But it requires a weapon swap now.

Requesting advice for Ngamahu's Flame Cyclone Chieftain

    Posted: 29 Aug 2021 02:59 AM PDT

Hi guys, I'm playing Ngamahu's Flame Cyclone Chieftain as my first POE char ever following this nice guide https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2092338.

The problem is that I've been stuck at T14+ maps for weeks already, constantly dying / not enough DPS to kill the last 4 conquerers. My equipment aren't the best, e.g. not having 6-links but unfortunately I don't have much currency, only 4-5 ex to spend. What can I do to improve, and which areas should I prioritize? Or is it just a matter of grinding T_T ?

    POB pastebin: https://pastebin.com/0rvEh0pp

    Thank you in advance.

In terms of farming and boss killing, Between FR self cast and Raider Lightning strike, which is best?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 04:55 PM PDT

Obviously farming bosses is profitable and so is farming Delirium.

So it'd have to do both.

My only issue with the FR build is that crafting is a massive annoyance.

But is LS raider any better?

    Build Recommendation: Low Investment Mapper

    Posted: 29 Aug 2021 01:39 AM PDT

I am looking for a low investment build that can clear maps quickly. I don't care at all about bosses aside from the one in maps. I basically want to save as much currency as I can, so the only currency I want to put into it is the initial investment. It ideally should be able to do t16 maps, but I value speed farming over that. Any suggestions?

    Help with lowlife Bane occultist

    Posted: 29 Aug 2021 01:31 AM PDT

I'm having a lot of issue staying alive in maps right now, sitting on 7.7k ES is that too little for red maps? I especially find myself suddenly getting one shot by the fast lightning attacks in things like Esh breaches. Any advice is appreciated a lot.

Does this still count as being a oneshot? I mean, it was 4 traps.. ;) (Build still in progress, invested like less than 20ex on it)

Looking for help with our aurabot/MF setup

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 10:07 PM PDT

A friend and I are trying to run and Aurabot/Magic Find duo but we're having some issues with survivability.

Even if we run no dangerous mods, no delirium, I (carry) just can't finish a map without dying a few times, even the aurabot dies sometimes. Deaths are usually from beyond or something off-screen one-hitting me.

I've noticed that people with seemingly almost identical builds can do delirious maps with 6 people in the map no problem, don't even come close to dying which makes me feel like I'm missing something important.

The aurabot has 16 auras + flesh and stone for blind aura as well as an animated guardian with Garb of the Ephemeral and Kingmaker.

Are we missing something? I'm open to suggestions about what we can do to improve.

4.5K life, tend to fall over on (regular map) bosses especially if I can't hit a life flask fast enough. I'm having trouble gaining levels due to metamorph deaths, boss deaths. I have to swap to my SO char to finish some bosses

Things I know I need to improve:

    • only using assassin's mark (but this is supposed to be what I want for map bosses?)

    • harvest craft other weapon, chest

    • better large cluster(s)

    • lots of room for craftable gear improvement

    Some questions:

    • Should I take out my medium cluster and focus on life wheel until I get levels?

    • Is this a kiting boss build or a (pincushion) tank and spank?

    • Am I missing something dumb (probably)

Just bought the HH and so I'm poor atm but can farm up on my other char if needed.

Playing HoAg Juggernaut and wondering if there is more damage to be had

This is more or less a 1:1 from an Zizaran guide from last league and I'm wondering if you guys have any ideas on how to make it do a bit more damage. It kills things... slowly, but eventually. It's tanky enough that I would feel comfortable maybe ditching the Kaom's if need be

[3.15] Indigon The Agnostic Totem, taking care of damage and survival, seems to be really feasible?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 12:29 PM PDT

Is glancing blows worth it if I already have 60% block chance? Also, if can't be stunned then does block recovery also become useless since block and stun recovery are the same stat?

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 04:07 PM PDT

-Considering max block chance is 75% I'm thinking taking Glancing Blows ang gaining a 15% chance to block would not be worth taking 65% damage from those hits. Unless I'm missing something.

-And yea, if I can't be stunned then I don't see how block recovery would matter since you only are interrupted to block if that hit would have stunned you.

    Thoughts?

    Biggest AoE Rage Vortex

    Looking for a tanky, well-rounded non-RF build

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 03:36 PM PDT

I really enjoy playing RF, but as I reach the endgame grind and start getting bored I'm thinking it's time to try out something else for a bit. Because to be perfectly honest, RF is almost the only archetype that I've played into the endgame - there was a Blade Flurry Inquisitor at one point with whom I think I killed the Shaper once or twice but that's kinda it, all the others (like the EDC Trickster) I kinda gave up on early. So I'd like to try something new, at least it would give me a bit more insight into the type of gear that other builds are looking for.
I have decent money right now (well I think about 10 Ex is decent, some people have different scales) but consider that I have like 60c to get started after A10 because I like to play "self-sustaining" builds.

    Things I'm looking for:

    • Not Marauder or fire-based
    • Not minions or totems-based, I've tried that a few times it's not for me
    • No SST, in part because I think it might get nerfed to oblivion for 3.16 but also because I just don't want to go full meta-slave. That doesn't mean meme build either though, just something in the middle (like RF is right now)
    • Should be able to level as itself as much as possible, ideally when the main skill becomes available
    • Should be decent at both mapping and bossing, able to eventually, in theory do all content without mirror-tier gear
    • When I say "tanky", obviously I don't mean facetanking a T16 map with 3 damage mods but should still feel safe most of the time even in red maps

I've heard about mana stackers for instance, perhaps that could be interesting? Don't have the slightest clue where to begin though.

Thanks for your insights and suggestions!

    Build to kill Sirius A8

    Posted: 28 Aug 2021 11:36 PM PDT

Hey guys. I've posted once before.

But this time, I've actually farmed some currency! Not a lot for some of you, but a lot of me. So I have 7 total Exalts and I need a build that will let me kill A8 Sirius. That's my only goal. Get to and kill that madman that I haven't ever been able to beat in the leagues I've been playing. Any suggestions?
