I'm trying to help a friend who's new to PoE with his build, but he chose to start with a Herald of Agony build (a build which I'm not really familiar with). This is the guide he's using, as far as I can tell pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2218039. You can find his PoB here. He doesn't play too much, so his budget is pretty low. I recommended that he should round out the rest of his support gems as a starting point, but with regard to gearing, I'm not sure where to start advising him. | CRIT CONSECRATED PATH LOW DPS. WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY BUILD? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 03:43 AM PDT Hi, But my DPS is significantly low compared to the guide. The DPS difference would be understandable if it's not that big but I feel stuck right now. I tried to copy his jewels, weapons from poe.trade but the 'DPS hole' is not closing. For example, I found a very similar weapon of him from shop but it only adds 3k DPS to my build whereas his weapon shows 160k DPS against my 60k DPS weapon on PoB. Is this about crit multiplier? Generally speaking, what are the all main problems of my build? | New to Souldrend and need some opinion from experienced players Posted: 12 Apr 2019 10:00 AM PDT Hi all...am be to the chaos/ED playstyle and need some advice/feedback on 2 different builds in the market. Am basically studying both Tarke's and Mathil's Soulrend Trickster variation and need some feedback on their builds from the general masses. Perhaps feedback like the builds' pros and cons for new players...attainability of the gear...end game viability (if I wanted to push it)...or really any other thoughts anyone would like to share. No offense but I think both gamers are great and am not taking sides. As a whole I have always liked and appreciated Mathil's melee builds and it has shown me success (even by my standards cos I'm a bad player) the last 2 leagues. | [Help][Newplayer]Build equipment, p.skills and s.gems advice Posted: 12 Apr 2019 10:50 PM PDT Hey everyone, I'm new to path of exiles, I used to try to play the game in the past but never got into it until 2 days ago, now i'm logging in everyday and having a blast, I'm still learning how everything works and wanted to ask help regarding this build I found online: The build is meant to "cosplay" Guts from Berserk, a 2-H sword Duelist/Slayer build, if anyone thinks there should be changes made please let me know, I have no idea if the build is actually good/viable, i'm currently level 26 and it seems to work alright. What I wanted to know is what equipment and skills should I focus on? what would work well with this build? I'm currently using Cleave for clearing and Heavy Strike for bosses with Rallying Cry as a buff and a few random support gems. | Question about frenzy charge generation in new league Posted: 12 Apr 2019 01:12 PM PDT I've just finished a very long grind and come out with a perfect roll Oni goroshi. Always been a fan of flicker strike so I'm keen to try and combo a build. Pleb playing soft core so I don't mind dying I just want perm flicker, so that means reliable frenzy. I plan to take abysses so I'm not keen on the reworked blood rage , and without terminus/crit combo I'm looking for tips on reliable frenzy generation. I'm not keen on the red tail / jewel combo. So far Raider way of the poacher seems like the best bet. I'm thinking ascendant scion? But that's only 20% hardly reliable for bosses. Any other ways I haven't thought of? [link] [comments]  | ||

I tried to make a QoTF Devotos Winter Orb, but I scrapped it and now I just want to round out this character to push towards endgame. I'm used to ES so I'm not sure how to squeeze more life into this and, and also increase my terrible damage to push farther. Divine ire totems, chieftan Posted: 12 Apr 2019 07:33 AM PDT here's a link to the build (sorry not home to provide the PoB) Basically i'm able to do all bosses in maps currently but with how PoB struggles to provide accurate dps for divine ire i feel like i may be missing a big dps boost. My goal is to complete uber elder this league but i'm lacking a bit to be on that level. note - Also i don't think running another weapon would help my DPS. The aura reduction lets me run Anger, Zealotry, and herald of ash while giving me a 5th totem for bossing. So the ~26% dps sheet i'd get from a weapon i see it returned via herald of ash + 1 totem.
