Posted: 23 Jun 2019 03:13 AM PDT Do you guys use it this flask on your Cyclones. I just hit level 80 and I already cant bear it anymore. The knockback is not only annoying as hell, but it also pushes mobs out of my Pride and Flesh + maim (well at least the latter one, because I have no fucking idea what pride range is due to lack of any indicator whatsoever). Just dropped it for simple granite flask and I it feels so much better. Will only use Lion's Roar on endgame bosses - while for regular mapping I feel like it actually slows me down despite 20%+ more damage. What's your experience guys? Or am I the only one being annoyed by this flask to all hells. [link] [comments]
Elemental hit rings - best option? Posted: 23 Jun 2019 02:49 AM PDT Can't figure out if 2 x taming or 1 x taming + 1 x opal is better. so yeah which option would be best and why? [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jun 2019 09:56 PM PDT I'm considering doing one of these each league (Synth league builds) https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/b9rzss/this_leagues_offmeta_builds_cool_interactions/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share 1st build: The DEX-Stack Champion support I have played a bunch of supports, and wanted to try something different this league since I was anticipating 90%+ people playing melee. My train of thought was kind of dumpstered when they got rid of Synthesis uniques (I wanted Mask of the Tribunal) but they revealed like 2 days before league drop that Synth uniques were gone and I already had my build done.... so I just swapped Mask with a Deidbellow and kept everything else. On PoB the stats are amazing, in game, it doesn't work out quite so well. I use a lvl22 Hatred and Haste on generosity, Grace on everyone (PoB aims for 60-70k evasion). 6L Dread Banner, Banner > Generosity > Empower > Enhance > Inc AoE > Inc Dura This further lowers enemy accuracy so we have 95% chance to evade, as well as provides almost 50% chance to impale for the party WITH increased impale effect. Master of Metal will add 6-12 flat phys per impale for allies, Inspirational makes the Banner free and gives allies movespeed. Deidbellow and Warcry nodes give 30% increased attack speed and movespeed on warcry, and make warcries free so we can 3 or 4L our warcries if we choose. I chose to use Rallying Cry > Enduring Cry > Inc Dura > Inc AoE on a 4L, and rotate between Enduring/Rallying while supporting. Our taunts provide 20% more damage (from Champion) as well as enemies can't evade. I use Saqawal's chestpiece to give Aspect of the Avian in an aura (this also has mana reserved and +75 all attributes), Shaper's Touch to convert DEX to life, and corrupted (6% Dex) Cyclopean Coil for higher DEX and freeze immune. I also use corrupted (6% Dex) Perquil's Toe to make ally's hits lucky and big time DEX. I also use Sin Eater for a level 30 Smite for bosses, which provides INSANE damage (this smite more than doubles an elemental build's damage by itself) In game, the build isn't quite as tanky as I'd hoped. I DEFINITELY triple or more my carries damage, as well as 45% movespeed so I make them way faster... but I have serious trouble surviving. Not only does ele damage still destroy me, but even with over 95% chance to dodge, I still feel like legion mobs hit me ALL OF THE TIME. I once was hit 3 times in a row by an archer with 40k evasion, it just makes no sense. Either their accuracy is bugged or something is just not right. Right now I will give the build a 3/10, it COULD be really good if I can figure out a way to be tankier, but if it keeps going like this, I am going to scrap the character. 2nd build: Bleed Explosion Gladiator The general idea with this build is abusing Gratuitous Violence to get an explosion that deals 100% of the enemy's total life, therefor killing the enemies next to it. (Global Phys damage and generic damage effect this) I didn't actually do the math to figure out how much global phys damage is needed to maintain a perfect explosion, but I did tamper with using Haemophilia gloves, which stack with Gratuitous Violence. I am currently using a Carcass Jack to make the explosions huge. Since my explosions clear nearly the entire screen, I am able to solely focus on single target damage, and I use Vaal Double Strike for this. For defenses, I am stacking phys mitigation. Killing Oak for 2%. 4 endurance charges for 16%. Soul of Steel for 5%, Outmatch and outlast for 10%. Arctic Armor for 12%. Flesh & Stone and I pretty much ALWAYS have sand stance on. Legion has been pretty bad with the bleed explosions, they don't detonate in the opening phase OR after they're opened, so it just kind of feels bad to do. Gladiator ascendancy itself is clunky, and needs to be addressed. Bleed explosions do NOT trigger Outmatch & Outlast, as well as exploded mobs do NOT trigger on-kill effects (like frenzy charges from Blood Rage for instance). This is counterintuitive for no reason. We do have work-arounds, but it shouldn't have to be that way. Overall this build has amazing clear speed, amazing boss damage, and medium survivability so I give it a 9/10. MAYBE UPCOMING BUILDS! Wave of Conviction Chieftain The general idea of the build is to stack Endurance charges to get 5% fire and phys damage, both scaling Wave's damage. We convert all Phys to Fire with Cheiftain and Avatar of Fire, and aim for 10 Endurance charges. I will tamper with the build to see what works out. Frenzy Slayer This one isn't too thoughtful or original, and I don't even think it's feasible to aim for due to being overly expensive. The general idea is to use Slayer's Masterful Form and aim for 10 Frenzy charges. Precursor's Emblems are needed with +1 frenzy to get this, with corrupted frenzy gear and every frenzy charge node. This would result in 50% MORE damage and MORE attack speed for using Frenzy as an attack. This would also solve the dilemma of figuring out how to generate charges as a Slayer. Enduring Cry would still be needed to generate endurance charges. If someone wants to try this and tell me how it is, go for it. [link] [comments]
Can I get an opinion on my 'Volatile Dead' Berserker with Poet's Pen build? Posted: 23 Jun 2019 01:41 AM PDT *POB edited* Please provide and tips, tricks, or suggestions you have for my build. I use the 'Berserker' Ascendancy to try and reach 8 APS more easily.I pass up the 'Rite of Ruin' Ascendancy skill in favor of 'Blitz' just because of the degen. This build doesn't seem as tanky as the Chieftain version(s) so I wanted to keep the regen. I use 'Lightning Warp' because I like having a "hop over ledges" travel move. [link] [comments]
Glacial Hammer - Would you change anything? Posted: 23 Jun 2019 01:26 AM PDT The gear is just placeholders for majority of it, Weapons are level 50 cheap uniques I found and 2 flasks I know I will be using. My main issues are the tree, I find it really hard to path or find the useful nodes and worry im missing something obvious. [link] [comments]

Need help optimizing my Legion Farming Raider Posted: 22 Jun 2019 11:51 PM PDT Hey guys, I need a bit of help optimizing my build. First of all I need to stress that i'm playing in HC, so I need to get defences/life to not die. My priorities were : Evasion -> Life -> Speed . ( qotf build ), i plan to farm Yellow maps for Maraketh Splinters I tried to get as many Frenzy charges as possible because I scale almost everything with them. That is the reason i'm using Wyrmsign gloves( They were the only +1 corrupted gloves that actually do something for me). My biggest issues right now are with damage. I am not killing the "locked monsters" fast enough so I can't actually clear the entirety of the 2 armies. Looking at my skilltree, I think this is where i need help the most. I have not played melee in such a long while, and there's so many dmg nodes I dont know what to pick. Conclusion : Pls help me optimize my tree ( feel free do add 8-10 more points) and If you think i missed some very good/important items, lemme know. Thanks. edit1 : Swaped Wyrmsign for Dhadow and dust for easier sustain of rampage [link] [comments]
Animate Guardian - weapon setup question Posted: 22 Jun 2019 11:07 PM PDT I have an Aurabot who uses AG as part of the build. The Helmet, Body Armour, Gloves, and Boots slots are all spoken for in the build (combination of survival buffs and some party help which fit the Aurabot well), but I haven't decided on weaponry. Not going Dying Breath because the Aurabot is already providing massive support, including Wrath and Anger at 200+% effect, such that the extra 20% from Dying Breath is pretty negligible, and Kingmaker isn't a great fit either (I do run that on an different AG though - its great). Instead, I'd like the AG to be an additional "party member", since I often party with smaller groups (2-3 players), and having another fighter will let my Aurabot spread more... ah.... love. The problem is that since I only have flexibility in the weapon slots and no minion support from the tree, I'm trying to figure out is what would be the most effective unsupported damage setup using nothing but weapon slots would be? Budget isn't unlimited, but weapons/shields which cost 1-2 ex are fine (for obvious reasons, I always make sure to have spares for my AGs,). Victario's Charity is always a reliable shield, but for pure damage a two hander or two one handers might do. The Oak is also an option I'd want to keep open in case I feel he needs more % life regen (but hopefully the Aurabot will buff his defence substantially anyway). Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Jun 2019 04:44 AM PDT Hey i'm looking for a cheap build for endgame. With my current build I stuck at T11 maps and it gets so expensive to upgrade. My budget is 150-250c. I want to complete my atlas as far as possible. You guys got any ideas and/or links? [link] [comments]

Can i get a hand making this Fletcher build better? Posted: 22 Jun 2019 06:22 PM PDT I feel like my damage just isnt high enough, for how squishy i am... besides a 6l hyrri's, what can i do to make my single target better? overall damage? Any advice is appreciated [link] [comments]
Recommend 2h sword Cyclone Slayer build? Posted: 22 Jun 2019 11:39 AM PDT I was going axes and I managed to farm 6 ex and like 500 chaos on my own and then got lucky with a mirror. Now I want to switch to a Starforge build cause I see that is the meta and I am a noob so please forgive me. The problem is there are so many different builds, I don't even know where to begin. Is there a best regarded 2h sword build? [link] [comments]
Question about skill point value Posted: 22 Jun 2019 09:20 AM PDT When I'm looking at the skill tree in say, Path of Building, how much value am I looking for each skill point? Naturally if I can spend a single skill point to grab a keystone to increase my DPS by 10%, that's a no brainer, the same if I can take a single node that's going to massively increase my health. However, I'm less sure about where being worthwhile stops. For instance, I'm a bit more hesitant about going across the skill tree, investing lots of points that decrease the value of the faraway notable. So how much value am I looking for per skill point? Thus far I've been saying that 3% DPS is about break even or 5% life, as a very vague rule of thumb. But I'm not satisfied with how far it's gotten me, should I be comfortable with less value per skill point, or even more? It should be said that I've already satisfied my essential keystones that don't directly have big numbers attached to them (like Ancestral Bond for totems) , I'm looking for the numbers at this point to fill out the build and scale it to lategame. Looking for some deep delving builds. 50ex budget Posted: 22 Jun 2019 06:37 AM PDT Want to farm darkness/side areas, and also cities in delve 3-400ish. Any ideas for some strong builds? [link] [comments]
Leveled with Oni-Goroshi, I can't figure out what upgrades would be worth losing it for. Posted: 22 Jun 2019 04:15 PM PDT I planned on swapping out Oni-goroshi for a pair of Ahn's Might, but PoB keeps telling me that even with taking a few points for dual weilding, it's a big DPS loss, even for 50c+ 1h swords on the trade site. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help. I've been trying different PoB setups and know I'm missing something. I know there are other upgrades I can get, but I want to ditch the degen from the sword if I can. [link] [comments]
Slayer Cyclone. Help push this further please Posted: 22 Jun 2019 03:15 PM PDT All the gear is what i have, mostly recycled from my beserker. Plan on using this for both farming lab, and pushing deep delves(farming darkness at 400ish) so the overleech is a no brainer here. Any input on how to squeeze more damage, while staying very survivable will be appreciated [link] [comments]
Next steps for endgame flicker build Posted: 22 Jun 2019 09:10 AM PDT So I've been pushing my atlas with a Terminus Est impale flicker, and it's starting to get pretty rippy at T11-12 maps. I'm still using a lot of budget gear (and an Abyssus to keep my damage up), so there is a lot of room to buy improved gear. Before I start spending the exalts I've obtained so far, I was hoping to get some feedback into what direction people think is best for pushing flicker to endgame. The possibilities that currently come to mind: 1: Double down on Terminus Est + Impale: Get a Starkonja, 6L body /w Maim + reduced mana, assassin on hit, Pride, etc. 2: Cheap Golden Rule + Red Trail: Get a Watcher's Eye with "Unaffected by bleeding while affected by Malevolence". Buy highest PDPS 2H sword I can afford (starforge being my end goal). Get bleed chance from Dirty Techniques or Bloodletting wheel. I stay full phys and can keep my impale. Maybe invest in Crimson Dance due to stupid high APS from 'Zerker? This would require some -mana mods due to reservation issues. 3: Conversion Golden Rule + Red Trail: Get a Watcher's Eye with "converted to cold while affected by hatred". Grab phys to lightning jewel, phys to cold on tree, phys to cold on gloves, ect. to get to 99%. Drop impale and physical nodes on tree, grab more sword damage nodes. Maybe switch to 1H? My current thought is to try and make #2 work: I dislike the Malevolence mana reservation - I may need to get a cheap lvl 3 enlighten or grab "Champion of the Cause" to make it less painful, but I like the idea of having full impale damage on flicker, as well as not having to burn 3ex on the required Watcher's Eye. But I don't know if that can offset the massive damage loss from the More multipliers from Hatred, conversion, and dual wielding. Is there something I'm not considering? Is the standard full conversion build just that much better? Am I setting myself up for failure by even considering the ghetto version? Need help with Kinetic Blast MF Deadeye Posted: 22 Jun 2019 11:09 AM PDT Hi, I've been trying to do Thien's build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2074126 But my dmg is very low, I get one shot way too often, I couldn't even do 3rd lab even tho i swapped every mf item to life. Here's my build: https://pastebin.com/61jcgecx Can somebody tell me how to fix this, and, how do you think, is it worth switching to Windripper/TS? Ive got 46% light res in pob, but in game I have 66% [link] [comments]

Help with lowlife fireball elementalist Posted: 22 Jun 2019 12:44 PM PDT Rolled a fireball character the other day for clearing legions and it's going alright so far. Wipes legions easily but I feel like I just die to random stuff. Typically I get around 10k es on my character pretty easily and I'm having a bit of trouble with that this time around. Grabbing the bottom wheel and going for the one at the top of the tree is helping a good bit though. Bought a steelskin and blasphmy temp chains setup last night and that was a good boost too. Is there some other defensive set up that would work better? My main issue however is single target. The build works great for clearing packs fast but even against map bosses it feels weak. Is there something better I can use for single target? Character is greatballzoffireee. Any help is appreciated. https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/konter5683/characters [link] [comments]
Build Recommendations for Selfcast Spells Posted: 22 Jun 2019 08:17 AM PDT Hey all, I've been playing slayer since start of the league and want to try something different. I'm pretty much always played as melee classes but want to try out a spell-based build. I prefer self-cast builds as they feel more interactive to me. I want to have a good damage ceiling and good boss killing potential with decent clear speeds. I've been considering incinerate elementalist, inquis divine ire / storm brand but I've had a hard time coming to a decision. I like the idea of something fire / lightning based. [link] [comments] |
