What Bow Build now that a Lioneye's Fall dropped? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 01:41 PM PDT I love it when something cool drops. A 6L Bronn's dropped for me, so I changed my Slayer/Cycloner to a Champ/Cyclone/Facebreaker...good times. My Summoner Necro is winding down. So this drops and instead of selling for EX I wondered what fun bow builds are exiles doing this League. Doesn't need to be a UE-executer, but able to down bosses easily, somewhat tanky (even if "tanky" equates to kill everything faster than it can kill you) and able to do Blight maps easily, maybe a deeper delver (but not crazy deep). My fear with chain hook is to play knowing that if I change only the gem to the cyclone, everything is better, shield throw is more unique and I don't think I have this problem. But I'm open-minded! Need help optimizing my build. (Cobra Lash Assassin) Posted: 24 Oct 2019 01:56 PM PDT This is the best-performing build I've ever made, but I've hit a wall. Would someone better than me at this take a look? PoB: https://pastebin.com/vCLvhgi8 It's a crit poison assassin using Cobra Lash. Can kill Shaper, as long as my dodging game is on point. Defenses are lacking, and damage could probably be improved, but I'm unsure how. I'd appreciate any advice to get it over that final hump to be able to confront Uber Elder without being murdered instantly by literally every single attack both Elder and Shaper do. Ideally, for example, I'd like to at least be able to take a hit by the Shaper's balls. Passive adjustments, gear advice, gems, anything would help. [link] [comments] | ||
[Off Meta] Flame Surge / Bodyswap Elementalist Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:32 AM PDT I sold all of my gear from my last meme build to fund this one, and have a pretty good framework started for this build. The main idea: Flame Surge as a main skill. I have Carcass Jack and a ton of 'Area of Effect' built. I also have a 5L Herald of Ash including Increased AoE support. In a combat situation, if I Flame surge and it kills an enemy, it will burn nearby enemies for overkill damage. Also, this burn will let me apply the more damage modifier from Flame Surge. In gameplay application, 1 Flame Surge wipes most packs with the Herald. I also have Primordial chain, Anima Stone, golem ascendancies and Golem Commander for big time buff effect of golems (9 Golems), which gives me something like 46% physical damage reduction, about 950 regen, a bit of damage from fire golem and a SHITLOAD of cast speed from lightning golem. The golems are not my form of DPS, I am only using them for buffs, their DPS is pretty insignificant since they are only linked to a Level 4 Empower. Flame Golems are also linked with Elemental Proliferation & Combustion to help apply ignites as well. At first glance, the build seems very strong. I have been running T16s since level 80 with almost no deaths, clear is ok and single target is very good. The main issue I have with the build so far, is Lightning Golem is a punk bitch. He always dies, and I have to resummon him. (This is mostly in Delve or big boss fights, since the golems don't really take damage in a normal map). Occassionally the fire golems die too. For some reason the Chaos & Stone Golem always live much longer, but will die if the damage output is obscene. I want to keep them alive but without investing too much into it, what do you guys think would be the best way to do this? (I have no links to spare on gear either) [link] [comments] | ||
