Since bows and everything to do with them are going to be absurdly expensive in trade league next week, I'm looking to do some form of bane starter, I've never played bane nor do i understand it's mechanics, there's so many guides out there and they all have something different. I play softcore and i'm only looking to go fast, bosses i don't care about, i just want to clear maps with ease and with minimal investment into red maps. Deciding between some form of elementalist build if the primordial amulet and jewels would be cheap leaguestart, or occultist bane. have an idea for a starter tree How do you go about leveling bane, do you just run a 4L with 1 curse to begin with? | [3.9] 20k ES Blade Vortex Maurader 1M DPS - Efficacy for clearing/end game Posted: 04 Dec 2019 08:36 AM PST POB: https://pastebin.com/ZWJevJGu So I found this build on a site I haven't used before as a result of a google search for blade vortex builds for 3.9 (since they sell currency I don't want to link it). I am looking for something that will have decent clear speed and then good/easy bossing. Easy meaning not squishy and with high enough dps that it doesnt take a long time per kill. Since I have never played VB before I was hoping someone could advise on what this build will or wont do very well. Is the big ES number really the only thing going for this build? Posted: 04 Dec 2019 05:25 PM PST I was having fun crafting bows at end of the league and made the bow listed below. I tried a few different combinations of skills and landed on Blast Rain + Firestorm being cool looking. However, when I put it into practice I did it on the fly and it feels both low on damage and poor when it comes to survivability. I obviously can add some levels to the character but struggling with low-level maps/delves. What changes could I make to save the build? Is it stuck at looks cool but will never work? | Posted: 04 Dec 2019 07:39 AM PST I skipped 3.8 mostly because I needed a break after playing all of 3.7 and didn't like the minion play style. I know patch notes for 3.9 ain't out but normally one or two builds from last league doesn't get hit. So any good build ideas for ssfhc? I've looked at mines mostly toxic rain and icicle. Else burning arrow chieftain sounds juicy. Normally my goal is farming to 95 and doing endgame content. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 04 Dec 2019 06:44 AM PST I have a lvl 38 Duelist, but all my skills were reset. IIRC I chose Duelist because I prefer a ranged character but also want some survivability - I like killing stuff but don't want to be a glass cannon. I did a Google search for Duelist builds, found this page, and at a quick glance I like the description of this one (Rain of Arrows rings a bell, I may have enjoyed that skill?) and this one, but I have no idea how relevant these threads are. I see both have forum posts as recently as the last month, but one is 21 pages long, too long for me to read through all that. So ... are there better builds for my playstyle at this point?
