    The State of Incursion

    Can we just all agree that the Incursion Temple is in a bit bad state right now compared to the other Masters, and needs some minor tweaks?

     

    There's a steady supply of beasts for high-tier (split, imprint) recipes, and the boss drops are usable most of the time.

    Delve side routes offer about a chaos every time, not counting the profit from fossils, cities have a high chance of containing tons of maps, and I'm not even counting boss spawns.

    The safehouses provide good returns aswell for the invseted time, given one can put members on the best jobs. ITF Pure Breachstones, Gilded scarabs, Aisling craft, yada yada yada. The options are endless.

    Zana is just Zana. We had her before the Betrayal update, and she's still valuable for getting map completitions and the general +1 Free map is just good in itself, especially now that Shaper and Elder sets are harder to obtain.

     

    And there's Incursion. Content got bloated with Strongbox and Tormented Spirit rooms, which are FAR from usable, but at least the Legion room is a good addition, given one can upgrade them to Level 2 or 3.

    I accept that the main power of the master mission is adding about 10-15 extra packs to the map, but the final Temple run is disappointing most of the time. Good rewards gated behind RNG, other league mechanics dropping Incursion mod items left and right, the uniques are useless, except for about two (looking at you Anime Guardian Helm), plus upgraded jewels. IIQ bonus only exists for the Factory line, no random mods, like in Delve. Target farming rooms is gated behind RNG, and requires ignoring an Incursion.

     

    Giving the Temple additional IIQ/IIR after every Hatchery/Trap/Fire/Lightning/Garden level, and changing their effects from Omnitect only to Global, would be a good start to make the runs much better.

    Vaal sides areas in atlas maps should inherit all the attributes of the parent map and generally be more rewarding

    With the recent expansion the Vaal side areas have been added to the atlas maps.Unfortunately - running these areas feels like a waste of time, because at the moment - they don't inherit the attributes of the parent map (and thus - the bonus to rarity and quantity of the items dropped). And so the monsters barely drop anything at all.The only reward is a fragment(s) that drops at the end, so basically right now I run through it, barely killing anything, just to get straight to the end.It feels like the whole thing at the moment makes little sense being a separate instance.

    But it can be fixed rather easily.. In my opinion - all the vaal side areas should inherit all the attributes of the parent map (and naturally - all the quantity and rarity bonuses as well), so they would feel rather like an extension of the map and "free" monsters density, making them worthwile to run.

    Also - I do believe that the Vaal Vessels should have a small chance to drop corrupted vaal gems with the gem levels ranging up to 21 and quality up to 23% (in very rare case - gems with lvl 21 AND quality at 23%). This should also be balanced around the tier of the monsters and the quantity/quality, naturally - more juiced up parent maps with higher tier (monster levels) should have a higher chance/more chance to drop better gems, etc.

    Also, If it's possible, it would be great to have a random chance to encounter more bosses than one, each in separate room guarding additional Vaal Vessels.

    Went to my bestiary and found out that i could craft a 6link item, so i did , then i could 30% and corrupt it aswell ... but i was too lazy to use a wisdom scroll to identify it since i had to get back to my hideout ... so i decided to identify it later ... I forgot for a brief moment that "Corrupted items cannot be modified" this means that it can't be identified aswell xD

    RIP in corruption ç_çIma keep this as a memento of my noobness :)

    Delve Cities should have a chance to drop shaper/elder guardian maps.

    The cities in delve used to feel so nice and rewarding because you knew you could get guardian maps, and normal maps for that matter, for free from running them. With an atlas that sustains maps so easily, cities feel way less rewarding to run, since the maps that used to drop, are not really needed anymore. On my journey to delve 600, i ended up skipping the cities a lot of the time, since they were often a waste of sulphite, compared to the goal i was trying to reach. I think that adding guardian maps back to the cities would help with making them feel rewarding and exciting again.

    Baran and his Mana runes

    GGG, after you kill Baran please make it so that the Mana Runes disappear at the same time because I have died couple times when the area closes in and everything that's left is a active mana rune. Would make sense for them to dissapear right after Baran dies

    PSA for blighted maps: freeze bolt tower ring enchants allow using 1 tower type to finish

    Freeze bolt towers are the only high tier+ high damage tower that has a ring enchant to allow damaging blight monsters of the same type( cold) . They also have decent range (75), pierce, and another enchant that shoots 3 bolts instead of one. In blighted maps you can use only these towers and kill every mob, unlike the super popular meteor towers which can't hurt fire mobs.

    Haven't seen any literature on the web about this strat so thought I'd throw it out there in case it helps others or theres something I'm not considering

    Suggestions of hideout decorations

    I'd like to make a suggestion on some decorations that'd love to see in game, at the moment it is possible to cobble many of them together to make custom objects, but many things cannot be made up and they'd add a lot to the variety of styles of hideouts.

    Floors

    Floors are extremely hard to make out of other decorations, and when it's possible they often take a lot of decorations to do, which reduces the number of decoration used for the rest of the hideout. They're also particularly important for hideouts such as the celestial nebula or when you need to make a different style out of a defined tileset.

    These could be very useful to wall the hideouts, or to make separate areas for example.

    Buildings

    Making custom buildings is pretty hard and most of the time it is needed to get a basis to work out of it, having several new buildings would allow more diversity in our towns, because now it is pretty limited (the two huts and the slum buildings basically).

    Walls / Roofs / Windows / Doors

    Having several new roofs and walls from various style (wood, stone, straw, etc...) and shape (pointy, flat, etc...) would allow a lot more possibilities when it comes to buildings.

    What would be very nice is to get several variations in height of the decorations, because at the moment tall decorations are pretty limited in number, and if you want to make a big rampart for example it is quite hard.

    Also at the moment making windows is very hard, more possibilities in that regard would be nice too. Some doors of various styles would be nice too.

    Other decorations

    Very often 1 or 2 relevant decorations can allow to make whole new hideouts just by themselves.

    - One that'd like to see is wheat (to make a field for instance) with a variation with a lot of them.

    - I'd love to see more decorations with water, like to be able to make a custom river and watering places. The oriath fountain is good, but it is very limited because it is huge and not easy to work with (the middle statues have to be hidden, is it quite tall, and its borders have a very defined style). A neutral big basin with several variations of its size/height would be very interesting.

    - Waterfalls

    - More characters of all sorts (pirates, warriors, wizards, fantasy characters, animals, etc...)

    - Rain : currently there is only the Rain MTX but it is very unpractical because the rain is very strong and quite bothersome in terms of visibility. Adding a softer variation (like the rain from the Unearthed hideout), or simply adding it as a free decoration would be great.

    POB: Allocate any node without pathing to it. (helpful for Thread of Hope Jewel)

    I really wanted POB to work with Thread of Hope so I've made a few edits to PassiveSpec.lua and PassiveTreeView.lua classes.

    With these changes you can right click any node and it will be allocated without creating a path to it.

    Left click to unallocate it.

    Caveat: the changes are lost when you close POB.

    1. Close POB.
    2. Open those two files up in a text editor (you can find them in the Classes subfolder in your POB install location). Replace the code in each file with the code from the pastebin links.

    this is based off the LocalIdentity latest version. It won't work otherwise. Also POB will tell you there is an update avalaible after you make this change. Ignore that or it will overwrite the changes.
