Loot and profit from 53 simulacrums - leveling from 99 to 100 Posted: 03 May 2020 12:32 PM PDT TL;DR Farmed 53 simulacrums from 0% lvl 99 to lvl 100. 1 death. Each run took ~20min. Modified uber strict neversink filter. Usually 5 reward tiers per wave, sometimes 6, rarely 4. ~44ex profit without lucky drops (excluding exalts). ~97ex profit with lucky drops. Took around 19-20h playtime with small breaks and loot management. Leveled 1,5 sets of awakened gems. Few more hours to sort everything and calculate profits. Screenshots with loot sorted in tabs Google spreadsheet with all my calculations. TL;DR Ok let's move to the long part now. I wanted to finally get lvl 100 on my character so I decided to do small "loot project" and calculate how many simulacrums I'd need to get from 99 to 100. Turns out it's 48. I died once - needed 5 more simulacrums to reach lvl 100. Each simulacrum was giving me around 2,1% exp - keep in mind that my build was able to comfortably reach 5 rewards each time (sometimes 6, rarely 4). In those 53 maps I got: 10 hysteriagate 12 syndrome encampment 13 oriath delusions (I think it's the worst layout, often only 4 reward tiers) 7 bridge enraptured 11 lunacy's watch My principles and filter modifications: maps only >=t14 no fragments [dusk, dawn, etc] disabled most of the prophecies [except plagues, tempests, boxes, lab enchants and few top drops] no bad unique maps [t3 and t4 hidden] oils below azure/crimson/teal/violet hidden essences hidden below screaming (converted all screamings) all bad catalysts converted to good ones talismans shown [sold for alterations] perandus coins hidden no jewels (except uniques and clusters) all divination cards that could be converted to currency were converted (including 6-link cards) hidden bad incubators - all good ones I were used imidiately during farming leveling awakened gems in offhand (started with gems at lvl 3 with 229m exp, finished first set after 15 simulacrums then got new set of awakened gems and leveled them after 33 simulacrums You can check all my profit calculations in spreadsheet. Prices were taken from poe.ninja or official trade website. However, I feel like profit is higher than in my spreadsheet because of: bulk prices (I was trying to use lower prices in calculations) I decided to calculate t14-16 maps 1c each didn't add essences at all didn't add incubators at all (few time-losts) didn't add megalomaniacs or split personality prices (dex/life for 2,4ex twice, str/int 1,5ex) added only good div cards - there were few worth few chaos that I excluded didn't add leveled gems to profit (leveling 9x awakened gems, got >20ex profit from that) Unfortunately I got only 1 voices jewel, but amount of raw exalt drops surprised me a little. I think I got 10 raw exalts and 13,5 exalts from exalt shards (either from harbinger rewards or harbinger incubators). Is it worth farming simulacrums? If you are not bored by it, your build can clear 20/20 waves each time and get at least 4-5 rewards each time it is worth it. Decent xp too. Hope you find this thread interesting.
