    Freezing pulse got buffed, perhaps theres more incentive to go FP Totems?

    Ziz has mentioned spellslinger fireball...he seems pretty hype for that.

    Generals Cry + Cast while ____ combo w/ desecrate necro or guardian?

    Is HoP summoner gutted? I dont know if this is a buff or nerf to summoners.

    Ball lightning got a huge buff...maybe CWC like Steelmage did in his China race? Or BL mines?

    Animated Weapons was SUPER effective as a league start, I might consider using a cry with that, with cold conversion likely. If I am indecisive I might go this. It has remained untouched and is super strong if you can manage the clunkyness of summoning them.

    Build to go all the way

    I have recently became a father and there isn't too much time to start multiple characters, so is there something I can start with and go all the way? I actually havnt beaten sirus yet (300h) and am planning for the first time to beat everything for once. So I need a league starter which scales to late and even hyperlategame with investments. I'm intruiged about summoner builds since I havnt played them yet but really any build (other than cyclone) will do. Thanks guys!!!!

    Magma orb now brokenly strong, am I understanding that right !?

    First they buffed it in every aspect, but secondly they changed the jewel to give magma orb 40% MORE dmg PER CHAIN? Not sure if that more multiplier is additive or multiplies by itself, but either way that seems strong as you're literally above the threshold of the lost 50% by default. I calculated that is has a multiplier of 4.2 or 7.3 (or something like that, depending if additive or multiplicative) compared to its current dmg, while having 8 chains. I kinda doubt that, but that's why I'm asking here

    3.11 WINTERTIDE STARTER (SKILL TREE 75% READY)

    Depending on the gem numbers provided tomorrow, I might ditch this build if I see there's no potential.

    As of now, I think it would be a decent brand even after the nerfs (IF the numbers are good), and AGAIN depending on its tags I could utilize some new gems and passive tree combos such as the new intensity cluster node.

    It should be a budget just like Cold Vortex, easy to gear with and decent at late game.

    Because it's a brand, we could utilize more skill passives and damage multipliers (tags) compared to Vortex which is just AoE + Cold DoT.

    Chose trickster because it's tankier, more sustainable, and more DPS. Clear-speed wise, we don't have explosions which the Occultist has, BUT the new brand mechanics + gems could compensate for this.

    No worries about how to curse enemies, this brand has a HIT portion (I THINK), unlike the Vortex build which requires a hitting spell to proc EE, Curse, and EO.

    Talking about EE, I'm not sure how we could proc that in this build.

    Lastly, DEPENDING on the numbers, because this brand can attach twice on an enemy by default, we could chill and rush for Runebinder later.

    How scalable is necro in 3.11?

    I know skellies/zombies/spectres are still amazing with right clusterjewel and megalomaniac stacking (impale etc).

    But how scalable is spellslinger VD and SRS for example? Can we hit 10-20-30 mill dps like with skellies/zombies? Haven't tried very hard but never got SRS above like 5 mill dps.

    I know that kinda DPS isn't required but it sure helps :D

    From the patchnotes: The radius at which it can spread ailments to other enemies is now 25 units (from 12). This affects existing versions of this item.

    Could we see any form of screen-wide old Elementalist chains from before or is it better to just use an explode base?

    Ice Crash in 3.11?

    So, with the patch notes out, I really want to try an Ice Crash build.

    I was hoping to go for a slow(er) hitting style by going either Slayer for the juicy AoE and crits, or even Chieftain, for the new slamnode (and convert cold to fire).

    Do you think these will be viable options, or would it be better to build the skill as it was used by now - just maxing out attack speed, basically?

    Some cluster jewel rebalance that may affect your chaos builds

    TL;DR: reduction to skill effect duration and chaos dot multiplier, adverse impact for those non-melee warcry-stacker builds

    Circling Oblivion:Old:

    • 20% increased Damage over Time
    • 15% increased Skill Effect Duration
    • 20% increased Duration of Ailments on Enemies

    New:

    • 25% increased Damage over Time
    • 25% increased Duration of Ailments on Enemies

    Wicked Pall:Old:

    • 35% increased Chaos Damage
    • 20% increased Skill Effect Duration

    New:

    • 35% increased Chaos Damage
    • 10% increased Skill Effect Duration

    Eternal SufferingOld:

    • +5% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier
    • Chaos Skills have 30% increased Skill Effect Duration

    New:

    • 25% increased Chaos Damage
    • 50% chance to inflict Withered for two seconds on Hit if there are 5 or fewer Withered Debuffs on Enemy

    Eternal Suffering seems to be more balanced now. It's still useful if you are looking forward to stacking up some limited withered debuffs (up to 5/15 stacks).

    Method to Madness (from /u/TL-PuLSe)

    Old:

    • +8% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier
    • 22% Increased Chaos Damage
    • +8% to Chaos Resistance

    New:

    • 22% increased Chaos Damage
    • +1% to maximum Chaos Resistance
    • +12% to Chaos Resistance

    --

    For some chaos/poison the builds that stack warcry cluster jewels (3.10):

    Mob Mentality

    Old:

    • 20% increased Warcry Cooldown Recovery Speed
    • You and nearby Party members gain 5 Rage when you Warcry

    New:

    • Exerted Attacks deal 25% increased Damage
    • Warcries have 5% Chance to grant an Endurance, Frenzy or Power Charge per Power"(Normal Monsters have 1 Power, Magic Monsters 2, Rare Monsters 10, Unique Monsters 20, and Players 5)

    Cry Wolf

    Old:

    • 30% increased Warcry Duration
    • 30% increased Warcry Buff Effect
    • Warcries count as having 10 additional nearby Enemies

    New:

    • Exerted Attacks deal 25% increased Damage
    • Warcries have minimum of 10 Power

    The warcry cluster rebalances will likely to have an adverse impact on the non-melee builds that stacks multiple warcry cluster jewels in 3.10.

    With the upcoming crit multi nerf does that result in the death of deep delve builds?

    I love deep delving. I Do it almost every league.

    Sadly the current Deep delve builds relied heavily on the big hits for freeze and one shooting monsters when you get below 1k-1.5k

    With the brand version gone (rip you glorious 1 league wonder), we are back at ice shot/icicle mines most likely. the issue I have is if crit multi gets reduced by more than 20% I worry these builds will be borderline unplayable for delving going forward.

    Rare-heavy builds?

    Given that it looks like crafting is going to be really powerful this league, I thought it might be cool to play a build that uses a ton of rares to really take advantage of the harvest mechanic. But I dont really know which ones do! Anyone mind contributing builds you know of that are really rare-heavy?

    Hi there ! I wanted to league start with ancestral warchief totem this league, avec being quite successful in delirium with it thx to Angry Roleplayer's guide ( https://youtu.be/wxLohWMLDEE ), wich is sadly not up to date, but the best conception I have seen and tested.

    For 3.11, it looks like crit multi got nerfed all around, and I already had problems with tankyness for the hardest content. anyone has ideas on how to compensate damages, and or at the very least tank more ?

    Chieftain ascendancy seems untouched for this build, and the core strength stacking / crit chances tips here aren't touched.

    On a side note, this build is weak in delve, would a divine ire totem be on par with this one for boss killing, and be better in delve?

    The defenses are looking good but I don't know if dps will be enough (1.2m / 2m with endurance charge consumed // 1.8m / 3m with flasks). Should I just swap to molten strike?

    Does Whispers of Doom stack with a lvl5 Awakened Curse on Hit?

    I'm looking to apply 3 curses on hit. Would this work? PoB doesn't seem to change when I add the third curse. I'm thinking maybe "an additional curse" isn't the same as something like "+1 to max curses applied on enemies".

    Ignite DPS vs Total Damage per Ignite

    I'm trying to put an ignite build together (Chieftain EQ) but I have some issues regarding ignite and how it is calculated in PoB (I know how ignites work in general, no worries).

    So, for my EQ Chieftain build, the damage breakdown looks like this:

    I don't understand this "Total Damage per Ignite" thing as I don't remember seeing it before. Here's a Fireball Trickster build that I made for comparison:

    I'm not using an Emberwake or anything like that.

    The EQ ignite duration is 2.6 seconds as opposed to 5 seconds on the Fireball Trickster one.

    Newbie question, about elemental conversion, helpme to understand!

    Why would you be interested on convert 100% phys damage to 100% cold for example?

    What's the beneffit of it if you spend more getting that when you instead could invert in to something else to increase yor phys damage?

    Im not talking about extra damage just normal conversion, can anyone explain how can i get benefit of it or when to use it? thanks!

    Armageddon brand ignite?
