May Doryani's Touch have its hit limit increased / removed? Posted: 15 Jun 2020 09:18 AM PDT This whole point might be moot given the lack of general info about DT so far! Hopefully Bex will be feeling extra generous and catch us up to speed slightly earlier than intended in this regard ;) For those unaware, Doryani's Touch is the big lightning slam that Dominus uses, and is granted to the player by the Doryani's Fist unique gloves. It has a hit limit of 50 enemies, meaning that if you have enough damage to kill a pack of 60 guys, 10 will live no matter what. Since the hit limit was explicitly increased in the 3.5.0 patch notes, I can imagine that the current iteration of the skill is balanced with the hit limit in mind. That being said, is the hit limit a technical problem or a balancing lever? If it's the latter, how much power would need to be pulled from other areas to in order to increase the hit limit? I think it would feel smoother without that limitation, even if it were nerfed in other areas. Thematically, Doryani's Touch is my favourite slam. I know it's kind of a meme skill ("THE TOUCH OF GAWD") but it would make me happy to see some love for it that isn't just crazy numbers boosts like we got in Delirium! submitted by /u/RedditMattstir [link] [comments]
