Any guide about scion coc ice nova with MOM/Indigon Posted: 04 Aug 2020 02:53 AM PDT I am playing SCION ball lightening mine by following this guide. [3.11] Ball Lightning Miner | Facetank Sirus | Destroy All content | In depth beginner guide It is very fun to play with it. But now, I am thinking to change the skill from Ball Lightening mine to COC Ice nova but keep the key equipments. I check the POE.Ninja, there are several chars are using a similar setup. For example: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/muramura66/mineotakujp?i=0&search=class%3DAscendant%26skill%3DCyclone I try to import some of these char into POB and compare the dps vs traditional shadow CI COC Ice nove build. Looks like the dps is much much less. So I am not sure what the real dps for the similar build like the example I provide above? Anybody play similar build can give some comments? My CoC Assassin dies alot, what can i do? Posted: 04 Aug 2020 12:59 AM PDT hey guys, i'm pretty new to the game and started playing a CoC ice nova Assassin. While the DPS ( obviously not high end ) is enough to slay bosses on t16, it dies alot however. it's pretty hard to clear juiced maps without dying to anything random once per map. im linking profile, maybe someone has a nice hint on what to imporove by priority? https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/SHAKEYOBACON/characters [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Aug 2020 01:03 AM PDT Prefacing with the fact this is my first CoC ever and I didn't really learn the ropes when I funded it since I farmed up the currency to buy the gear and slapped it on once I was high enough level. I made this character with the intent of soloing t16 100% delirious maps. I understand the basics about break points but now I feel like I'm not doing enough damage despite the currency I poured in. The clear has been fine but the single target wasn't what I expected it to be and I'm not sure where to move besides triple multi jewels. I barely managed to cap resistances on my jewels in order to throw in as much damage as possible on the non-tree gear. Right now, I'm looking for the best ways to improve my damage. So far I've considered triple multi jewels and that's the only thing I have room for right now. I'm also not sure where to find more crit chance either to try to cap out my crit chance. Additionally I'm very constrained by dexterity right now- so much that I've even anointed utmost swiftness onto my amulet. For reference, I've been trying to follow a max block 100% elemental ailment avoidance CI build. I don't think I'll be very constrained by a budget since I have an aurabot friend who pushes my damage output (and survivability) through the roof so I can still farm fractured maps now. PoB: https://pastebin.com/tdX7474d Edit: I'm still working on getting 21/23 gems and eventually woke CoC but for now woke CoC is off the table since my aps (assuming I have configs correct) is 7.09. I want to bring this up since I know these are fairly obvious ways to improve my damage. I've also considered just trying to enchant my jewels with ailment avoidance so I can go back and craft a res on my gloves or helmet just so I can free up another jewel slot for triple multi. Thus far, very unsuccessful with that. [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Aug 2020 03:29 AM PDT "Enemies Blinded by you have 30% reduced Critical Strike Chance." Can this works with "Nearby enemies are blinded" chest mod? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Aug 2020 03:10 PM PDT I have 60% Spell Dodge. How come every time I stand in any of Sirus' beams, it's a hit? [link] [comments]
Help with a Lacerate gladiator Posted: 03 Aug 2020 10:08 AM PDT Hey guys, I've been slowly building up this lacerate gladiator and I know it's not perfect, but I'm struggling to understand how people are pushing millions of DPS on Poe.Ninja: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?class=Gladiator&skill=Lacerate&sort=dps While I am barely getting to 200k DPS: https://pastebin.com/eDZAqkJJ Could I get some advice on how I would start moving in the direction of those high DPS numbers? Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
Help with first character ever Posted: 03 Aug 2020 11:47 AM PDT Hi, I've started playing this league and while there is tons of stuff to learn, I am having a blast doing so. I just managed to get my watchstones 13-16, but it was really close. Sure, some dying during the fights was absolutely attributed to me making mistakes and not knowing everything by heart, but since going into red maps I notice I die way more often and take pretty long to take out bosses as well. I am trying to follow this buildguide: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/purifying-flame-inquisitor-build-guide and it went pretty well until now. I have some of the intermediate gear that was suggested and pretty much "finished" the passive tree. My current PoB setup: https://pastebin.com/gK47Zwpp. I have reached lvl 89 and am fully ascended. I already have aquired a carcass Jack (that I still need to 6-link), a Devouring Diadem and some pretty nice fingerless silk gloves. Should I just start equipping these items and will Mind over Matter and Eldritch Battery make me more tanky? Or are there any other obvious upgrades I should make first? I also have 3ex budget to buy some stuff. I also haven't really made use of jewels yet, either. Is there anything I should try to aim for? What is the way to progress after reaching red maps? Is it more life, more ES/armor/evasion, better crit or simply "git gud"? [link] [comments]

Update on Consecrated Path Hollow Palm Twink Speed Leveling Posted: 03 Aug 2020 03:17 PM PDT A few days ago I posted here asking if I should go Consecrated Path or Smite using One for Nothing Hollow Palm Technique. Last league I just did Smite not really knowing about Consecrated Path. This time I tried Consecrated Path and man it's amazing! I beat a new record for myself killing A10 Kitava with all passives & norm/crue/merc labs done in 3 hours 45 minutes. Here is my final level 67 PoB: I made a few changes from TyTy and other's leveling build. I picked up a Skin of the Lords with avatar of fire keystone so I'd have 100% conversion on Consecrated Path. This boosted the dps tremendously as now all elemental damage nodes would buff it as well. I picked up a brutal restraint that happened to have 5% increased dex on power and frenzy nodes on the tree and 75% total critical strike chance on other passives. My final character is using a bottled faith so I decided to equip it as early as I could. It turns out it's highly synergistic with Consecrated Path. Any consecrated grounds you make while the flask is up will give you the bottled faith bonus - not just the consecrated ground bottled faith makes. I rushed to socket One for Nothing as quickly as possible and used smite until level 28. I used increased AoE until I got 4 junk vast power/towering threat mediums at level 54 (then swapped at 67 for my good vast power/towering threats.) which then let me use concentrated effect effectively. The build ended up with 290k in game tooltip DPS (non-shaper), 345k PoB dps (non-shaper), and it's capable of map bossing alched T5s, and clearing mobs only alched T10s (no bossing.) The aoe is insane even with concentrated effect. The teleport range of consedcrated path is amazing and really helps speed through the leveling process. I'm on Softcore so I have no idea if this is hardcore viable. I did have a couple of deaths. I'll definitely level with consecrated path again! I have one or two more characters to level so I'm glad to have this set of leveling gear around. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Aug 2020 04:30 PM PDT Ive always wanted to try and play a stacking build, but I dont know which one. Would you guys be able to recommend any builds? ALso which one would be better for doing all content, including delving [link] [comments]
Am i stupid? Vortex creeping frost problem? Posted: 03 Aug 2020 08:12 PM PDT So im doing occultist vortex creeping frost. Im having a hard time with learning this game. My main problems right now... I randomly get one shot. I have almost all capped out resistences. My armor is a bit low 800 plus. I focused on energy shield.. why am i getting randomly one shot? Any ideas? Also.. they want me to run phase run.. but im having so many problems getting to 146 dex because my tree literally has like no dex so i had to change some things. And im being forced to use rings i dont want to just to use it? How the hell did they run this without adding dex like i had to. And finally with crafting... am i supposed to use a dense fossil on an vaal regalia and the a primative resonator too? To get max energy shield? I tries to use craft of exile. And watch videos. But im a little confused. Any help? Thanks. Also i play on playstation 4 i dunno if its cross play? But if anyone wouldnt mind helping me id love the help. Im level 81. I spent 20 bucks on the superior trade market pack thing so im trying to take this a little serious. I loved diablo back in the day and im kinda hooked on this... so i would love someone to help me understand more in depth things. Thanks Add me on ps4 NoHazeyEyez420 or just pm on here [link] [comments]
Looking for a build that meets these requirements? Posted: 03 Aug 2020 08:02 PM PDT I've gotten a lot of suggestions but its really hard to find good videos or POBs. I have two characters that I use separately for mapping and bossing. So I'm looking for a 2 in 1 and it's been a little hard trying to find something outside of BV on the ladder list.
My Budget is 60 ex. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Aug 2020 12:47 PM PDT Hi, I will maybe try out that Cast On Crit Ice Nova build since I've always liked those builds. I wonder if a Vaal Regalia with only the explode mod will be good enough or should I go for a Vaal Regalia with explode and "Attacks have () to Critical Strike Chance?" Thanks. [link] [comments]
Help with Frostbolt Ignite Pathfinder Posted: 03 Aug 2020 02:09 PM PDT Hi! I enjoy dreaming up and playing my own builds even if they ultimately fail miserably. In my latest abomination I intend to utilize Hrimburn gloves' ability to use cold damage for ignites. As Frostbolt's damage effectiveness has been buffed in 3.11, I thought why not give it another spin. My goal would be to farm red tier maps comfortably without too much investment. I'm confident about the damage output of this build. However, I fear the build will be very squishy and would appreciate your input. Here is my pob: https://pastebin.com/0npnapFL If you identify any quick wins, please don't hesitate to let me know :) Thanks and stay sane! [link] [comments]

[Standard] LF "cheap" 100% Delirium solo mapper Posted: 03 Aug 2020 07:22 AM PDT Hey Exiles, just a few words to describe my situation: I used to play league only in PoE but had to skip more and more leagues in the past. I was always more a "semi casual" who could fast map and generate some money in the early stages of the league but never pushed hard for something or had a really expensive char or sick gear. Now my goal is to create a character/ build in Standard who is able to chain those 100% Delirium maps either T9 or T17. I would buy a Mapbase and fracture it for the near mappingfuture.
What would be the best/ cheapest build to be able to farm those 100% Delirium maps safe and solo and is still somehow affordable? I know this is a question more for the standardplayer, since its hard to judge the economy and prices from the outside but I am happy for any input :). I dont mind a longterm expensive char with a lot of minmaxing, since it will be my maingoal in the near future in PoE. [link] [comments]
Earthshatter Berserker delirium build check Posted: 03 Aug 2020 08:42 PM PDT I've never attempted 100% delirium maps before so I'm trying to optimize a bit before I nuke myself and throw money away. Some of the things I'm thinking might help:
I only have about 6ex so I can't afford a decent Watcher's Eye yet. Would grabbing awakened gems make a noticeable difference? Also thinking it might be worth grabbing Pain Attunement if I do go Immortal Ambition. Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Aug 2020 11:52 AM PDT Hi there im new to the game i have been watching guides from youtubes and decided that i wanna play a flicker strike build. i have some budget since my friend give me like 1 exalted (since its gonna be new league soon anyway) which is roughly around 150 chaos? is this enough to fund a fun build? from what i see on youtube it seems that people uses scion for the one that looks really cool. any guidence or help would be appreciated [link] [comments]
Build Idea inpulsa + 3 dragon mask ngmahu's flame Posted: 03 Aug 2020 12:04 PM PDT Relatively new player here, still don't know enough to make my own build but wanted to know if following would work or no. Inpulsa armour states "Shocked Enemies you Kill Explode, dealing 5% of their Life as Lightning Damage which cannot Shock" and Three dragons head gear states: "Your Fire Damage can Shock but not Ignite Your Cold Damage can Ignite but not Freeze or Chill Your Lightning Damage can Freeze but not Shock" so my idea is (probably not original) nagmahu's flame 2haxe molten burst 100% fire conversion + inpulsa's broken heart armour + three dragon's golden mask (anger)(herald of ice+cold to fire) for screen wide chain explosions would chain explosion work or I am way off base here? I know explode chest would be simpler but I am playing standard and just dropped inpulsa and thought of this. I already have lvled ngmahu's flame chieften with crappy gear I can repurposed for this. assuming above would work can some one more experienced draw up pob for me (I dont know how to build and what to prioritize) I have ngmahu's flame and xoph's blood rest is crap on that character I already have inpulsa and 3 dragon is cheap. Any input is appreciated. Thank you. [link] [comments]
Scalable ranged gameplay build Posted: 03 Aug 2020 11:05 AM PDT Hello there exiles, since some leagues now I am playing POE and really enjoy it a lot! I have always played melee builds since that was what I was enjoying the most. So EQ or Dual Strike etc.... In delirium I was managing to get my hands on 35ex (I know that's not a lot for most of you but a lot for me). So I was just having a blast trying out different builds and their playstyle.... Most successful and enjoyable one was Golemancer with Stonegolem although it gets boring on the long run, since you are not doing anything but running around and picking up loot. I felt like a bot after some time xD During my tests I pretty much discovered what playstylies I don't like: Everything with Totems, minions or a dot mechanic. And what I like: everything with mostly a direct impact by me and not waiting on a totem or whatnot to make the damage for me. This league (harvest) I was goin like f**** it I am going to try something new again and was going for elemental hit wander. I was struggling at the beginning of maps until I got into it some more and although it's not the tankiest guy there is it's a lot of fun and so I like to try some different ranged builds What are your suggestions for a ranged build that: - Can be used as league starter. - Scales well into the end game. - Is not a 100ex build rather in the range of 20ex. - Focuses on fast mapping high tier maps. - Killing the guardians is nice but doesn't have to be a boss killer. - Can do Delve up until depth 500 (or possibly more) - Doesn't need to be the tankiest one. I don't mind to kite. - No totem, minions, dot mechanic TL;DR: Looking for a decent ranged playstyle build around 20ex that doesn't use totem, minions or dot mechanic. [link] [comments] |
