    Selling Zombiemancer build

    Last build need input

    I have about 500 ex for last build. Really feeling a bow build(possibly slayer ele hit). I would like to be semi tanky but clear and delete bosses.

    However, I would like a build that can use the poison sextant and golden rule. Not sure what exactly makes that possible.

    Maybe a nice coc ice nova or something else? Lmk if you guys have any cool builds you have played that would do well off 500ex.

    I've been really trying to minmax my character, based off my last recent post of feeling the need to reroll a bunch. I've been very happy with my bleed EQ glad, and I feel like I've gotten some pretty decent gear on it for being SSF, as well!

    I have 6.9k hp, 75/75 block (if Ive been hit recently), 8.5k armour stationary (no flask, no MS), and -19% chaos res. For reference as to how much I've paid attention to gearing and surviving, really, I usualllllly stop around 150% inc life from tree, and around 5-5k health or so.

    I am wondering two things, and I realize none of them have an easy answer so if you want to give me a rule of thumb I'd love it.

    1) What does your gear progression look like?

    Here's how I gear, or at least try to. Pick up a bunch of items --> Cap res --> get life on gear while maintaining capped res --> get t1/t2 life on all items with capped res --> obtain full elemental avoidance or get chaos res --> get the other of the last one.

    2) How do you achieve your gear progression? Do you multimod? Chaos spam? Fossil craft? Essence craft?

    I was trying to think of what a good rule of thumb is, but it's really hard for me to say "this is when you chaos spam. This is when you fossil / essence craft. This is when you alt-aug-regal into multimodding". I can give you three goals: an elder axe, curse on hit ring, a tri-res helmet with t1 or t2 life, and a beefy armour shield as goals. I am 100% sure you can craft a great item eventually with those methods. Its just....how much currency would it take to get there?

    I would love to know how to use poedb and craftofexile and whatever resources to answer that question, because... I think the answer lies there. I would love to know the most efficient way to craft a high dps weapon, a beefy shield, a hunters chest for offering, etc.

    Because at the moment in SSF, my answer is to throw chaos at it and hope the fuck it works.

    How do you actually play with Barrage for single target?

    I'm playing a str stacking assassin, and I was wondering if yall might have some advice for me on how to actually use Barrage+Power Siphon properly.

    The numbers are not the issue. I've got the pile of strength, I've got a pile of HP, I do oodles of theoretical dps with power siphon and apply dozens of poisons in a heartbeat for rapid ramp.

    I'm talking about the mechanics of actually playing it. What am I missing? People have been using barrage for single target for ages, and it has a reputation for being great at it, but in my experience it's an absolute nightmare.

    You basically need to be inside the boss to properly hit them. If they move around, good fucking luck. If you need to shoot at them from range, kiss most of your damage goodbye. If the arena is constantly full of adds, kiss most of your damage goodby. It feels like a namelock melee skill more than a ranged single target option. I often find myself just using KB for boss damage anyway, to avoid having to get in melee range or miss.

    I feel like I'm missing something. How do I actually get this working smoothly, and if I can't are there other single target options worth considering?

    Supreme Ego and Aura Effectiveness

    Salutations Exiles

    Looking at pre running my league starter for next league in 2021, looking into Supreme Ego Malevolence for a Toxic Rain Pathfinder/Hiero.

    I'm aware of the non-meta function of using Hiero but personally it is my favourite class and I would like to make it work. Looking into some PoB for the damage and I can nudge it up to 1m fairly easily.

    Now for the question, is there any breakpoints or suggestions for additional Aura Effectiveness when using Supreme Ego, as far as I'm aware using this Combo (with Essence Worm) is additive rather than multiplicative when it comes to additional effect, which makes it less valuable but if I could push the Malev up to say, 200% effectiveness, doubling the Damage over Time boosting could be fairly beneficial. I guess what I'm saying is, is it worth it?

    Would I find better value in scaling via Passive nodes and Chaos Multiplier (for the DoT based TR) rather than trying to push Aura Effectiveness up?

    Non-bleed dot build

    Starter build for end game map farming?hardcore

    I know how it sounds. I am a hardcore player, coming over to softcore to practice end game farming. I have around 15ex or less I think from the beginning of the league. My goal is to farm some doctors cards and practice progression.

    I know speed matters , so does staying alive. I would love some suggestions

    So far I have learned. Occultist vortex, spectres, impale ground slam, freezing pulse totem. Coc/vortex is fun, but not the fastest at map clear.

    Is HtV the answer to making Crackling Lance viable?

    So I, like many others, set out on a quest early in the league to make Crackling Lance viable because I want to shoot Sith lightning that turns into laser beams.

    Initially I failed, as did most like-minded souls, in said quest. As I consider the skill more I believe it's only redeeming factor to be the stacking More damage multiplier per Intensify stack. This being said, im starting to believe that Harness the Void Eternity Shroud Crackling Lance fully Shaped with 2x Call of the Brotherhood may be the recipe to turn Crackling Lancocchio into a real boy.

    All of the bonus damage from all sources would be multiplied by the More damage multiplier. All of the bonus damage from Shroud, Harness the Void, all the other elemental damage as extra Chaos damage. At 4 intensify stacks all of those individual sources of damage are going to receive a 120% More multiplier from the skill gem alone.

    I have more in game currency than I need and I'm really thinking of doing this but before I waste my time I want to throw this out into the Redditsphere and ask, simply and humbly, am I either missing something or is this a fools errand?

    Admittedly you want to begin Harnessing said Void with base Physical damage however I think the Intensify damage scaling could more than make up the difference. 5 or 6l Orb of Storms with Chain would be more than sufficient to clear all trash in the game.

    Lvling on Scion?

    So I want to make an aura stacker, but i know that transitioning too early is probably gonna feel poor. I was thinking levelling using hollow palm till around 85 or so, any advice on what I can use to level to around ~92ish?

    Another Roast My Build thread

    Seeing as the last guy got a lot of kudos, I got a similar issue.

    I'm using a combination of Arc and HoT/Doom Autobomber (with Storm Secret/Anom Arctic Armour) for clearing maps, due to no explode on kill chest/weapon (this is a future purchase when funds allow). The impending doom procs with pretty much every other HoT hit and so mobs get a blast, get cursed with Conductivity, and tend to die before I can get there. This is effective up to and including T14 and I like to call it the "poor man's explode chest" even though it's nowhere as effective. But it IS very effective with mobs. I can't take any credit, this was a theory I saw here on Reddit and I gave it a go and it's worked well from L38

    I'm using 9(!) golems for the buffs and can probably drop the Ice Golem but when I do I don't seem to proc Elemental Overload as much.

    Bossing is...middling with HoT as expected, but Arc itself is also not great. Using Wave Of Conviction on the weapon swap seems to be better single target but I've got issues for example Vaal Temple T16 bosses are just impossible (I do get there after 3-4 deaths), and forget about Sirius or even Uber Atziri. Aw4/AW5 conquerors seem to be OK deathless but just barely. But the HoT does the job with the freezing as described in the regular old HoT Autobomber builds so it helps heaps.

    Note this is not Sirius DPS (I'm not there yet) and without flasks popped but I do tend to spam them during high level maps especially Sorry of Divine for ES recharge.

    Effect of Shock versus ... well anything is confusing to me. I don't know how to calculate it properly, but I'm triggering HoT across the board including single-target bosses where I haven't recently killed, so I know I'm either triggering through a crit or just plain normal shock chance.

    Questions:

    1. Any changes to pathing that could help survivability and/or DPS?
    2. Any updates to jewels/clusters ?
    3. What should I be doing about shock effect? Still very confused.

    I've taken a look at poe ninja leaders with each skill and they all seem to be multi-ex (as in 30+) items which is out of my range.

    One option I was considering was switching around so that HoT is regular autobomber (with lightning pen/added lightning/something else) which brings DPS for that to over 1 million as well but chews up the mana reserves, then putting doom/hextouch/curse on the staff for arc for mob clearing. This seems to work as well but clear speed is nowhere near as fast.

    So Reddit, what can I do better?

    50-100 ex Aurastacker guides?

    Hi Guys, I am leveling a scion hollow palm, ive reached level 70, i have 50-100 ex budget and while i reach 90 before converting would like to know what are the options i have, i can't seem to find any youtube guides, just found one guide https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2992640/page/1 which honestly doesn't look very good or doesn't give proper explaination when to be CI when to switch to LL, where all can we get RMR, etc. any youtube/reddit post/ alternative guides available?

    Scaling damage with a HoT Autobomber

    Hi guys, i recently switched from the inpulsa's - storm's gift combo and noticed that with a explode chest mobs dont pop like before. After reading a bit i learned that this happens because im lacking damage.

    Im following MbXtreme build and what i think i need is to change my staff and helmet for a better one to scale with max power charges and a staff with damage per power charge.
    So my question is, did i miss some info somewhere? or it's just more damage?
    if its more damage, what would be the best way to craft something myself?

    Need help for a glad lacerate build for Chimera

    My main char can't handle Chimera due to the smoke phase so I raised a glad I had lying around, thinking a build with armour would help but it's lackluster so far. Damage is lacking and most importantly tankiness is meh too. I tried to follow video guides and checked what I could on POE ninja but it seems I did it wrong.

    Admittedly a lot of the gear pieces are trash as I first thought the build was a low-budget kinda thing and didn't need great pieces but I was apparently wrong ?

    I didn't spend that much on it and am prepared to improve it but I'm not sure what would help most.

    Again, the most important goal would be to clear Pit of the Chimera easily (aka no matter the mods except phys reflect) with it. Budget would be ~50 ex preferred, up to 200. I'd also prefer if the build was not reliant on flasks.

    I can also level up to 97.
