    Blackhole Vortex Build

    Every time

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 07:30 AM PST

Recently got a Shattershard shield as a curio reward and was absolutely stunned by its 3D model. Heist-specific non-replica uniques models are badass and the lighting is godlike. Someone at GGG definitely put their job hours to the fullest (even for 10c uniques) Lookin' at you, Memory Vault <_<

Chinese realm announced that in endless delves you would start with specially designed uniques.

GGG, please extend Endless delve and Mayhem events to 9 days ( 2 weekends )

    Posted: 25 Nov 2020 06:29 PM PST

Just echoing other people in this subreddit. Small change, big difference for anyone working 5 weekdays a week or more.

This might be the first time for a very good chunk of the playerbase to try delving for real, please don't cockblock us to what's essentially 2 days of playtime for both events.

edit : Not asking for the entire december events duration to extend by 4 days and delay launches, just asking for 2 additional days that can overlap with the other events, total duration remains unchanged.

edit 2: According to a comment - apparently GGG is limiting it down to a week because their testers got bored of it too quickly?? Testers who were either non existent or not doing their job pre heist launch, and who's job is to literally play the game? Apparently the comment is wrong

If I had to play delve 24/7 for a week straight, yea I'd get fucking bored fast, even if I get paid for it. But I'm just asking for a chance to play the race properly because I'm working 5 days a week. We are just asking for 2 more days, so at least everyone has some semblance of a chance to experience the race properly, not a month long extension

If you are going to make an event that may not be as popular amoung a large chunk of the playerbase as other events, at least make it so those who want to play have a chance to. Don't half ass it then give us the worst of both worlds - an event that will be skipped by those who don't want to play because they don't want to, and also those who want to play it because they have no time to get anything significant done anyway.

And I'm not just asking because of delve, I'm asking for Mayhem too

edit 3: A few people have suggested to limit the actual race to 7 days, but let the event continue for 2 more days after. So overlap between event durations is possible without having to juggle 2 different races. I don't care for getting the demigod sword, I just want to experience the event. Don't see a reason why GGG would have any trouble doing it, win win imo.

GGG pls, would this be possible? :3

    First time level-up Awakened Gems

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 02:09 AM PST

I'm excited for endless delve because of the limitations, not in spite of them.

    Posted: 25 Nov 2020 04:42 PM PST

I like planning builds, and needing to experiment with different values for attributes sounds exciting. Specifically, because resistances will be so expensive. Will I need to prioritize res on tree? Will jewelry nodes be exciting?

It might not work out, but I'm hype for Path of Limitations.

Who crafted/found the original 17 Currency Blueprint everyone is running?

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 03:04 AM PST

Do we know who was "patient zero"?

Also, it'd be really interesting to see how this one Blueprint duplicated and spread throughout the playerbase, especially due to recent IRL events. But I doubt GGG has any data on that.

Path of Exile / Alexander Hamilton parody

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 12:15 AM PST

Wrote this a while ago but never posted it.

(YouTube of the original song just for those who aren't familiar with the cadence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuyMAneJqms )

How does a tiny, indie, game that begins in New

Zealand, reel in the players who are feelin' the ap-

-peal of playing Paladins and Wizards there in Blizzard's dungeon crawler,

    Where Deckard Cain's a well-beloved scholar?

The top brawler, on Diablo's shoulders standing taller,

Got a lot farther, by being a lot smarter

With skill trees that aren't smaller

    Thousand nodes is real baller,

And this team, won't even make you pay a single dollar.

So people came and played Path of Exile and started

To say, "This game's okay, my first toon was just a starter,

But my next character is the one where my heart is,

And for that one my skill tree is already charted."

Then five new acts came, and were added to the game,

Active skill gems with supports is how the system gained its fame,

New items added every league were great, but it's a shame

That one aspect of the game continued to be a pain

Well the word got around, they said, "Here's an awesome game, man,

GGG was awesome, set the gaming world on flame, man.

Sadly all these league items are causing me some pain, man.

PoE has one thing lame, what's it's name, man?"

    Inventory Management

    The game is Inventory Management

And there's a million items in my stash,

I need more space, need more spaaaaaaaace

A Quick Question About the "take" Term in Influenced Mods

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 01:49 PM PST

Does the 'Of Shaping' mod that says, "Nearby Enemies take 6% increased Elemental Damage
6% increased Elemental Damage taken" apply only to Hits I do or does it also include Damage Over Time (like Righteous Fire)?

    Beginning players

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 01:21 AM PST

Hello everyone. Me and friend of mine are gonna check Path of Exile (veterans of D3, TESO) and curious what classes are good for beginners and viable in endgame? Also what are 2 classes which can synergy each other, cause we play together most of the time?

    Thanks for answer.

A question about exiting Alva portals in party play

    Posted: 25 Nov 2020 11:45 PM PST

    Hey.

When running tropicals with my friend, I cant seem to exit Alva portals when we run his map device / his missions.

It seems very weird and might be a fucked up setting I have or something. Has anyone experienced this?

what do you recommend for an 'early map' setup for COC Ice Nova Assassin?

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 12:59 PM PST

    https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/alexvsevil/characters

    Character: RainbowKira

im a filthy casual so this is the first time ive ever played this archetype and im happy to say...its by far the most powerful build ive ever played, and its only level 75 with suuuuper suboptimal gearing (and tree probably, havent fully transitioned from leveling setup)

not sure the best way to set it up on a budget until i go LL though, what do you guys do before getting the 6l shavs and currency to scale ES and all that?
