    We Need a Death Log

    There have been a lot of great suggestion posts recently for QoL changes to help players have a better time playing the game. I want to add my very likely not-original suggestion.

    I'm relatively new to the game and the thing that would help me out the most is being able to use in-game tools to help me learn more about the game.

    I'm playing endless delve and I hit an absolute wall at monster level 80. I cruise though 79 no problem, and can get through some of the 80 areas no problem as well, but there are two areas where I've died a combined total of 10 times. Each time it's a one shot. I don't know what is killing me other than the obvious "I took more damage than I had life". I don't have any good information to make whatever changes are needed to overcome this current challenge. Are these exploding corpses? Is it reflected damage? Is it Chaos damage for which I'm not capped? Was it a crit and I just got unlucky? Several of you would probably know from years of playing the game, but I sure don't.

    Nearly every game I play, I have the option to understand what is happening to my character that is causing me to fail; with PoE, I'm left hovering over monsters after I die to see if there are any modifiers that would explain what killed me (which has never given me the answer when I tried).

    I shouldn't have to come to Reddit or to the PoE forums and ask other players what might be happening. Please just give me the agency to learn and improve on my own.

    The most satisfying part of Endless Delve is not having a play bottleneck in Sulphite but allowing to simply play your character in the place you want to play without forcing player move away from delve to maps, to kill harder and harder monsters and get the new loot. I am looking forward to allow it in some future as a alternative way of playing PoE, same as Endless Rifts in D3.

    I know I'm the equivalent of dog shit in this game being new-ish with only two characters, but this is the only conqueror I have any real trouble with. Fight seems like it takes so much longer than the others. I've failed to kill him the last 4 times I tried. I've killed him before twice, and now I can't anymore. I guess he's stronger or whatever.

    So how do I kill him faster? Am I supposed to kill every single banner that exists when he goes in his bubble?.... I just go for ones closest to him then leave him in that spot. Then the rest is me getting one shot by "hand of justice" because my reaction time to that ability is just lmao. So that part is my own fault, just an explanation of how ive managed to use up all my portals.

    Some character info for the curious: Vortex/cold snap occultist, ci and 7.3k es inc. discipline (yes resists are capped)

    Chaos Spark Saboteur - Bossing potential?

    Here's my idea:

    - Divergent Spark and +3 projectile helm + GMP + fork

    - Stacking Coated Shrapnel jewels (they add phys damage to spark and chance to poison)

    - Using Decay support and relevant supports to enhance it.

    - Using Frost Wall to put a wall right next to boss = more Spark ricochets.

    - Stacking chaos DOT.

    Basically hitting the boss a metric FUCKTON of times because of number of mines, number of projectiles, proj speed, etc.

    Might end up just being a scuffed BV. But I'm wondering what you guys think.

    100% delirium farmiung : non aura-stacker build ?

    I used to farm 100% deli on aura stacker but I am trying to find a build that can "reliably" farm those and is not aura stacker (for flashback for example).

    I kinda found out that a penance brand agnostic archmage crazy geared Hiero is... barely good enough. Almost, I mean I can do it but it's dangerous and killing the bosses is... long.

    Are there good enough builds out there for such content ? I don't aim at T17 though, T16 or T15 is good enough.

    Delve’s real problem is the average mapper’s return on investment

    There's been a lot of debate over the last few days about the sulphite gating of delve. I don't think the sulphite gate is really the problem that needs to be solved though.

    From my perspective, the problem that needs to be solved for delve is the average return on investment for being a master mission.

    Lets compare the master missions:

    Zana - Helps your atlas completion early on(making mapping more profitable faster). In the late game she offers you rewarding end game boss opportunities like shaper, elder, and cortex.

    Alva - Extra juice on the map at the minimum, enhancing the value of mapping. Every 4 missions you get a temple that can(but usually doesn't) have valuable rooms. Great with delirium.

    Einhar - A little extra juice on your map and a meaningful chance at getting valuable beasts over time. Doesn't add much time to maps.

    Jun - Hello gilded scarab and pure breachstone factory. You do have to set her up properly for maximum profit but this doesn't take that long and it doesn't impact your mapping much in the process. Her missions also gives you unveils, which can be a big boost in build power when you get critical ones.

    Niko - You gather sulphite (which is capped). It does not enhance mapping in any way. You have to delve when you hit the cap for his missions to continue offering value. But in order for it to be more profitable than simply jumping into the next map, you have to delve in depths most will never reach in a league. On top of that you have to grind out about 100 depths just to reach T16 content, even if you're collecting your sulphite in T16 maps. Oh and delving slows down your atlas progress by taking time out of mapping. As a side quest to mapping, it's basically just holding you back. This isn't true of any of the other masters, though Alva was borderline before Delirium.

    Removing the sulphite gate (and presumably the missions) is not going to change the fact that only dedicated delvers are worth delving with so that just further cuts it out of the core gameplay loop. It would be better to address the reward structure so that taking a little time to delve as you get Niko missions is actually worth it while mapping. Dedicated delvers would still be able to trade to go deep, the average mapper would actually get to feel good about taking a bit of time out to delve, and the sulphite gate would feel appropriate because the rewards would be meaningful.

    How to know current character count vs limit

    Hi all!

    Is there a way to know the current character count between all leagues/standard/hc/ssf VS your current character limit, without manually counting them?

    I purchased a couple of times an extra char space, but i also deleted a few old ones in the past.

    If there isn't, shouldn't it be added in the character creation / selection page?

    Regarding Upcoming Heist Flashback

    I was wondering if anyone could briefly explain to me what will be the difference between Heist Flashback vs Heist? I didn't play Heist, but I've heard some really negative things and I was wondering if someone could just quickly explain why that was..? Did GGG just not fix the bugs? It will be my first flashback event as well.
