    Why don't people build Toxic Rain with a 6 link totem for single target?

    Toxic rain is one of those few skills that can be used both for clear and single target. It is also a bow skill so we have an additional 6 link. But TR builds I find for some reason doesn't utilize this fact efficiently. They either use second 6 link for Caustic arrow to clear or just use Wither Totem. Isn't that a waste? We can use a 6 link Toxic Rain totem, equipped with Withering Touch so that we don't lose the Wither bonus, to more than double our damage, assuming the totems deal similar damage to ours and we deal damage along side with it. The only extra investment is 1 totem cluster for +1 additional Ballista totem (so we have 6 instead of 5), which I think is worth it. The totems benefit from the same scaling as ours.

    What am I missing?

    First time playing a Low Life Miner and need advice

    I league started as a Purifying Flames Saboteur and it was great even in t14-15s on really cheap gear. I had around 10 exalts and thought it would be enough to switch to Low Life and Ball Lightning since I kept reading about how good it was.

    I dont really have any experience with mine builds or Low Life and underestimated how much currency it would take to switch. The problem is I already spent most of my currency and I now have a character that does way less dmg and feels way worse than my old PF miner and I cant really switch back. I wasnt expecting it to be insanely strong on a budget but thought it would be and improvement. I was just wondering if I could get some advice on what I should change if there's any major obvious problems and what gear I should really focus on getting. I'm working on getting a 6 link shavs.

    Suggest cheap clear speed build

    Toxic Rain PF Any way to max the damage?

    Hi, basically topic, i am lvl 94 PF With Toxic Rain DoT Dps capped at 6.5M. Gear is pretty much top level, so my question is to you who played this build or is playing atm, what can i do to reach even more dps?

    I know that adding Watcher's eye would help and give like 1M dps but its currently so overpriced that i just skipped it.

    What's the best way to craft a decent bleed elder axe at the moment in SSF?

    Not looking to know how to get a 550 pdps elder axe with ggg stats or anything. A 250 p dps axe would be a HUGE upgrade. I bricked my axe in a harvest craft being really really really really dumb and after spending a bunch of chaos, essences, jagged fossils I am left feeling a bit fucked and SoL. My happiness in PoE is kinda tied to how my build is doing, so... I'm not super happy haha.

    So I'm wondering what's a surefire way of getting a decent elder axe that has these four affixes?

    • 60% chance to deal 100% more bleed dmg
    • Inc phys
    • flat phys
    • attack speed

    Theres three methods that come to mind.

    • Alt Aug regal multimod relies on you hitting two or three decent/usable affixed and crafting two of the three non bleed mods I listed.
    • jagged fossil spam should eventually get there... With enough sulphite and jagged fossils
    • jagged corroded shuddering should hit ailment, phys and speed mods all in one fell swoop.
    • Harvest craft targeting chaos spam. Add or add/remove influence affix to item. If all suffixes are blocked and a prefix is left open I think you have a chance to get poison mod or bleed mod.

    Seems like the third would be the most currency efficient but would be the hardest to get as shuddering and corroded seem very rare, while the former is likely the quickest way to get a "decent" axe as all you really need is to alt spam the bleed affix and augment and then regal. If the last two are shit then you craft flat phys and Inc phys with multimod. The problem is that multimod recipe seems really hard to get from what I hear.

    Kinda wondering what you guys would recommend. Unfortunately I don't have an imprint on my life so I can't go back and not do a really stupid harvest craft. Would love some advice

    Call of steel slam?

    How to manage gems?

    My gems have just hit level 20 and I am wondering if I should use a gcp to make them 20% quality and lvl 1 to re-level them or use 20 gcps and keep them at lvl 20?

    Also: is a corrupted lvl 21 vortex stronger than a 20/20 vortex?

    First Homebrew - Tri-Elemental Hit Elementalist -- HC Viable, LONG READ

    Please be nice. This is kinda the first build I've kind of made on my own. There are overlaps from other builds, but I felt like this best suited my playstyle. I'm originally a league hardcore player(and I feel this build reflects that), but since I've started working full time, I have less time to invest into no-lifing hardcore and RIPping would be a lot more painful due to time constraints.

    Keep in mind the following for POB purposes:
    --108/123 skill points allocated
    --6/8 Ascendancy points allocated - can allocate heart of destruction (toggle between more AOE/more damage) or bastion of elements (immune to reflect, 3K HP ele aegis, probably better for HC)
    --Flasks turned offs
    --Buffs to damage (Berserk, Blood Rage, Ancestral Warchief) are turned off
    --Includes melee (Paradoxica + Shield or Savior + Shield) or ranged (Piscators + Shield)
    --Boots are free for your purposes (can default rainbow stride)
    --Note the belt in the build is probably ridiculously expansive not mandatory
    --The chest in the PoB can be improved greatly, probably socketed gems +1 (via woke) and remove attack crit (doesn't seem to be doing that much work), open to ideas for chest as harvest crafting allows for very unique possibilities
    -The shield is not ideal, I wanted to take advantage of the %mana on block, but couldn't find a decent way as I don't have a large enough mana pool to make a potential MoM useful (especially with auras being reserved)

    Key Features
    --74/72 Block w/ Glancing Blows and 37/36 without)
    --7K ES, CI w/ ES on Block
    --10-12 Million Sirus DPS with plenty of room for growth (no watchers eye yet)
    --Ailment immunity t hanks to Golems (who are on auto re-summon_

    Build Mechanics
    --6 Ailments (Shock,Sap,Scorch,Ignite,Birtle,Chill/Freeze) pretty consistently
    --Uses Secret of Suffering Keystone (from the Interrogation small cluster jewel)
    --Other ailments applied via Skitterbots (Shock+Chill) or Flame Golem (linked to Combustion)
    --My Paradoxica (Ele Penetration + Trigger Socketed Spell unveiled) is very good for this build, the socketed spells are Convocation, Assassin's Mark (can change) and Steel Skin. Convocation can be swapped to something like Hydrosphere (not entirely sure how this skill works or what it really adds).
    --Paradoxica has the advantage of doubling the flat damage that elemental hit provides (which is already a fuckton)
    --For the above, can use saviour instead of paradoxica, which I believe would theoretically lead to faster map clear
    --Spell damage scales attack damage really well
    --Ranged Variant can get rid of crown of eyes and use 'wandslinger' passive or 'kinetic bolt' skill to allow for more build variation and frees up the helmet slot
    --Elemental Equilibrium seems good w/ Trinity Support as you cycle through elements, never doing the same damage twice in a row
    --*****Build Mechanic AMBIGUITY***** - not sure if multistrike hits for the same element multiple times in a row, if so, we don't want to use that as it disrupts our elemental equilibrium.
    --Bandits: Kill All
    --Pantheon: Major Brine King, Minor ?Tukohama?

    Rooms for Improvement:
    --How to allocate remaining passive skill points. Small cluster or stacking 1-2 medium clusters?
    --Find better shield that has large amount of spell damage (as it turns into attack damage at 150% value because of CoE/Wandslinger/Kinetic Bolt) or +gems mod
    --Was trying to find away to get the Chaos Golems to level 22 for 4->5% phys reduction
    --Fiddle with removing glancing blows and adding tempest shield and replica reckless defenses (since we are ailment immune already) to try and max spell/attack block
    --Can allocate Grave Intentions clusters to make golems more durable for HC purposes, since your tankiness and damage at times depends on time, for SC it should not be an issue. Can also add medium cluster jewels that makes them more tanky.

    Thank you for reading and commends, as well as help, are greatly appreciated. I've spend a long time assembling pieces of this build and theorycrafting it and finding synergistic mechanics (though I'm sure the end product does not show it), but a lot of thought went into it.

    Ideas that were scrapped:
    -Triple Purity in the shield with their associated cluster jewels to reduce reservation and some passive tree allocation of reduced reservation
    --Post Morten: Spread the build out too thin, the math was making my head hurt, could still be viable for HC, but probably 20-30% reduction in damage. Watchers w/ Phys as any Ele would be GG for HC.

    -Scold's Bridle(spell damage scales attack damage for Wandslinger or Kinetic Bolt, the cast speed reduction does nothing adverse for this build) + Graven's Blessing (new unique belt) + Phys as Ele Watcher's Eye. In theory generating power charges that turn into absorption charges that instantly heal you
    --Post Mortem: Too much math again, not sure if the actually EHP gained(if any) was worth the inflexibility of using those items, though scolds bridles spell damage was a good upside

    -Leaderships Price as an alternate to Secrets of Suffering as a means of providing alternate ailments and giving max res
    --Post-Mortem: Too much attribute disparity in the build, will never be able to make them match. And can not annoint leaderships price.

    -Combat focusing into full lightning damage and using algor mortis.
    --Post-Mortem: Few chilling areas in the game, not sure if chilling area is the same as chilled and if secrets of suffering disallows me from creating chilling areas

    Build to push endgame

    I'm playing Grimro Carrion Golem builds, got 20ex to spare and wanted to try another build. One I can push endgame content with, not dying. With carrion I'm mapping easily and can do all bosses, but it is not great at either, so I want something better. Something that can start red-mapping with 20ex and then can push endgame content (delirium, maven's feared ecc) without dying so much (with carrion dps are ok, survivability is not). Preferred class are scion, ranger, shadow, witch, I can't theorycraft so a pob, forum post ecc would be best. TY

    I'm playing max block glad and am having issues being randomly one-shot almost every map. How would I make my build more tanky? I am lol 75 with a 5l, over capped res appart from chaos and around 55% chance to block, 0% spell block.

    Hi, just rerolled to 1h bleedquake, never played a build like this before and im a bit confused.

    Second, about the bossing mechanic, it's a bit confusing.
    So all i have to do is:
    pop 1st seismic - slam 4 times - pop 2nd seismic - big hit boss - swap and tag with ensnaring - profit?

    Suggest an Ele Hit build?

    Playing TR currently, but want to give Ele Hit a try since it haven't payed it in a few leagues. Was wondering if anyone knows of a good PoB to get an idea of where to path, gear, etc. I've looked around on PoE Ninja and there seems to be a bit of variety.

    One thing I know for sure is that I want to play it on a Ranger.

    BF/BB Assassin bossing issues

    Hey.

    It feels like I've hit a brick wall with my BF/BB Assassin. I can clear T16 maps easily, however when it comes to bosses (tried guardians, Shaper, Sirus, Maven) the damage is really underwhelming. I followed Esoro's build mainly.

    I have poured a lot of currency in it (for a semi-casual player) and I am really unsatisfied with the results. Any way to upgrade it without spending 27ex on a Badge of the Brotherhood? If no, than I will just sell all my stuff and reroll something cheaper.

    I have done builds with way less money invested and better results, I am 100% sure I am doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated!

    I've been playing a poison bv assassin and gathered around 50 ex.. So I am looking for a great deliriumfarmer(100%) extra points for screen clear. And yes I could do this with poison bv but I am looking for something new. Is there anyone with some uncommon builds? (Besides Totems/Mines/Minion)

    Ice Shot Deadeye gear advice

    Hi all!

    I started tinkering with a Shaper Thicket Bow this morning with the hopes of making a Deadeye Ice Shot build late in the league. Got stupidly lucky and hit +2 arrows and the cold damage per 10 int mod in like 100 alts and 20 imprints. Then got a Farrul this evening that dropped a Farrul's Fur. I'm feeling pretty obligated to start pivoting over at this point and I was wondering if there are any other major essential pieces of gear that I should be shooting for? The bow and the chest seem to be the big ones in the builds I've looked at so far, but this will be my first bow build and I could use any suggestions. Thanks in advance!
