    Based on the showcase video I posted 2 weeks ago, I've written a guide for the build which includes POBs, gearing progression, skill gem setups, and crafting steps.

    Best build from rerolling a Glad, Elementalist or Chieftan into fast mapper for high red maps?

    Have a Max Block Cyclone for bossing but want something better for clear. Have about 15ex to roll something from already levelled Glad, Elementalist or Chieftan.

    Was thinking a Burning Arrow Elementalist but not sure how good at staying alive in high end red maps they are.

    Question about Combustion when you have a ton of "ailments deal damage faster" mods.

    So I've been buying gear to play a Elementalist BA character and I'm getting a ton of "ailments deal damage faster" modifiers and started to wonder how this impacts Combustion support and it's -fire res debuff. Does the debuff only last for the duration of the ignite inflicted with the supported skill? Or does it have a separate duration?

    Most BA builds seem to selfcast WoC+Combustion+Hextouch+Curse and if that ignite only lasts for like a second or even less, then I'm not sure it's even worth having.

    What to buy/change so my burning arrow elemental list can run t14 - t16 60% - 100% delirious with HH?

    I not kind of ppl min max things but my char can run well mostly contents in game, since my build is not restrict to bell and I can put an hand on HH for the first time, I want to ask what to buy/change in my gears to run t14-16 60-100% delirious map.

    HH buffs without temporal chain seems clunky in map, I have tried in simulacrum and its ok because I have time to rest between waves i guess.

    Or I do really need to reroll in to self cursed temporal chain with BV/WO?

    Hyaon's Fury Slayer 3.14

    Looking for help to finalize a Hyaon's Fury slayer build I've been putting together. PoB can be found here:

    I've always wanted to build a duelist using Frenzy / Hyaon build but always ran into a few glaring issues that never made it work. These main issues being:

    • Duelist has been historically bad at scaling lightning / non-physical conversion damage
    • Frenzy's needed both ancestral call and melee splash to have any real clear speed. This in turn crippled its DPS or forced gem swaps.
    • Poor defensive pathing while being forced into the right side of the tree made it feel like I was playing a much worse Ranger or Shadow.

    After many patches I think a lot of the problems that got in the build's way have been alleviated due to ascendancy, passive tree, and skill changes. First off damage scaling. Slayer can make any weapon a good critical weapon thanks to its ascendancy nodes giving any weapon 8% base crit. Duelist / Ranger have large amounts of critical scaling, especially for swords. This means Hyaon's can be scaled like a critical weapon instead of having to fish around for elemental damage.

    Secondly Ancestral Cry now exist. Frenzy's poor area coverage is now mostly alleviated without having to put in a clear speed gem since you now always have ancestral call from the warcry. Lastly with the updated enduring cry endurance charges are far easier to generate and maintain. Since slayer can have endurance charges equal to its frenzy charges it should be much easier to build around the Duelist's Armour / Evasion defensive instead of being pushed into evasion / dodge.

    As for the build itself I constructed a fairly conservative level 90 character. I built them with the assumption that I would not have uber lab done ( I never find enough trials before a league ends), my rares would be average power level ( mostly t3 offensive mods and t2 life mods. no where near perfect), and whatever uniques I picked would offer close to the highest total DPS while still being on the cheap side(thunder fist and darkray vectors appear to fit this slot pretty well).

    Skills are:

    Frenzy - Close combat - Multistrike - Fortify - Lightning Penetration - Elemental Weapon Damage

    Enduring Cry - Ancestral Cry - Blood Magic -Second Wind

    Wrath - Assassin's Mark - Precision

    Vaal Immortal Call - Blood Magic -Increased Duration - Second Wind

    Leap Slam - Blood Magic - Faster Attacks

    Wave of Conviction - Cast When Damage Taken - Blind

    Stats:

    Defense

    5200 life ( 200% increased)

    6k evasion (40-70% evasion depending on blind status)

    6k armour ( 50% physical mitigation with 8 endurance charges up to a 10k hit)

    16% dodge

    20% block

    2400 leech per second

    8 Endurance Charges

    Offense

    5 attacks per second

    50-70% critical hit chance ( depending on diamond flask)

    280% critical multiplier

    380-480k single target ( depending on wave of conviction proc.)

    8 Frenzy Charges

    Well that's about it. If anyone knows any good unique / skill combos I'm missing or sees some more efficient pathing please let me know.

    League start boss killer.

    In 3.14 I really want to go for early league start bossing, like as soon as guardian maps are put on trade I want to run them and do Shaper/Elder and Uber Elder (after making some currency). I have a few builds in mind that I've seen and I wanted to get some feedback on which ones look the best or easiest to start with.

    Soulwres, Victario's influence and Triad grip necro: Seems like it does a lot of dmg and survives relatively well with The Jinxed Juju and doesn't need 6 link for Soulwrest or Victario's influence but I feel like even getting 6 sockets with them would be difficult that early along with 4 green on Triad Grips.

    5/5 for strength but 5/5 for required components.

    Explosive/Ice Trapper: From what I've seen it almost requires the Slavedriver's Hand gloves, pretty good damage on both and decent survivability on explosive trap with Chernobog's Pillar shield (I think ice trap is pretty squishy early).

    4/5 for strength and 3/5 for required components.

    Some sort of miner (most likely blazing salvo): Requires a Tremor Rod and can easy 5 link with Jewelers Touch prophecy, Probably the most damage on this list but requires a good amount of knowledge and mining skill. I think it could have decent survivability and can swap to low life pretty early too after making some currency.

    5/5 for strength and 3/5 for required components but also 4/5 for difficulty.

    Some sort of totem: I was looking into a few totem build that could work well for bossing early and I've come up with Divine Ire/Freezing Pulse totems with Soul Mantle and 2 Kikazaru Rings for curse immune, Or a Vaal Ancestral Warchief Chieftain with either Facebreaker or Brutus' Lead Sprinkler and Tukohama's Fortress. I have no idea which one of these builds is better or easier to get going early.

    ?/5 for strength and 3/5 for required components.

    All in all I think the most promising one is the blazing salvo miner because all it requires is a 5 link Tremor Rod to get going, but the Soulwrest necro looks really good if you can make some currency quickly to be able to grab the required pieces.

    I'm looking forward to reading some feedback and maybe what you plan on starting with when it comes to league start bossing.

    Hey everyone. Since Ritual is coming to a close I've been thinking about what type of build I want my starter for 3.14 to be. In 3.13 I started with a Toxic Rain Deadeye. Over time I've realized I really like DoT builds and this one definitely hooked me in and got me to play more than I've ever played a league starter in the past. Took it all the way to 95 and even finished my first Maven fight nearly deathless. That being said, I definitely noticed some hand strain problems from Toxic Rain that I normally don't experience. Between that, the lack of real defense on my character, and just wanting to try something different, I've been looking at some other options.

    I've been an SSF player for years so that influences my decision making as well.

    After being intrigued by some cold DoT builds, but still wanting to play some chaos DoT bow builds, I've been looking at options for Caustic Arrow as the type of skill that could be a slow-and-steady bosser similarly to how Vortex builds are done, and I'm thinking of how I would achieve this. I'm currently looking at 2 main options with a contingency option if everyone thinks those are really terrible and I'm just completely illusioned by my ideas. 2 options I'm looking at are Occultist and Champion. Contingency plan is to play Pathfinder, which I know is good for Toxic Rain, but adjust my playstyle/passives for Caustic Arrow.

    Occultist would have 2 or 3 curses, probably in a Bane setup for bosses. Taking reduced damage from bosses, as well as getting some damage + 60% chaos res from ascendancy sounds pretty nice, especially early on. Then when I'm able I would take Vile Bastion and go for Eldritch Battery in order to reserve all of my mana and not have to worry about mana as the skills sometimes do. The withered part of Occultist also seems pretty nice but I'm told it's not great, is it just too slow to ramp up or is there something I don't understand about the mechanic?

    Champion I'd get permanent fortify for 22% damage reduction, plus damage reduction from taunted enemies. Little bit of damage against taunted enemies. So, the tankier option.

    Haven't thought a ton about recovery but I guess I trust myself to figure that out as I start playing whatever character. Maybe PF is just a better option still, I just wonder how much flask uptime I would have (or even need) in single target situations or endgame invitations. I know hardened scars is a thing too, I just had terrible luck with oils this league so I haven't been optimistic there.

    Am I crazy for considering these other options or is there at least some semblance of viability here?

    Have a leveled Chieftain and Occultist I'm not using, looking for something new ideally non-meta to try out.

    I love trying different builds, and I've played a bunch this league. I usually respec characters until I find something I really like, then upgrade the gear to where I can do most content. So far I've tried:

    Assassin Poison BF/BB
    Inquisitor/Chieftain fire BF/BB
    Inquisitor Explosive Trap
    Pathfinder toxic rain, cold BV, and Bane/Blight
    Trickster/Heirophant Hexblast ignite Heirophant Frost Bomb
    Saboteur Lightning Trap
    Elementalist BA
    Occultist Soulrend

    The two chars I have without any gear right now are a 93 chieftain that was my leaguestarter as bf/bb and a 93 occultist that started life as a BA elementalist. I can't find anything on poe.ninja that really looks particularly interesting. Are there any unique builds out there that I could try?

    Looking for a build (not poison BV) that I can league start with. I'm gonna use it to farm up uniques, Timeless jewels, breachstones and what not for the first week, and then I pick what I'd push challenges with depending on what I have at the end of the week.

    Some questions about elementalist-stacking buff effect of golem

    I am currently trying to make a build with golem buff effects. The plan is to get:

    - 9 golems (preferably anomalous quality if i can earn enough ex to buy them)

    - 2 eminence + 3 harmonies (some more increase buff effect and survival for golems)

    - self cast damage skill

    How much can i stack increased buff effect? My calculation is around 600% increased if i get everything, but can it go higher? and should i go for higher?

    Can anyone recommend a skill to use? I was thinking of storm brand but i heard the skill needs a lot of crit chance and crit damage for solid dps or having to go full archmage for damage. Can it be done with golem?

    If there is a pob, i would really like to see it, i need some reference

    What are some bottom right of tree builds that cover the screen in projectiles?

    Most of the builds I play are top left/bottom left with lots of screen clutter and explosions. I don't play top right because I dislike the playstyle. I've only played bottom right once but it was only roa.

    So my problem is I die sometimes bc of not leeching life I presume, (may be wrong here im not a pro player as u can see) the thing is this glorious vanity timeless jewel must be 4772 and there are not even one for sell and I think will be too expensive right now for me... is there any other way to leech lightning damage as life ? maybe another jewel wiith another #numbers ¿?
