Is this good for a ignite build or would searing touch be better ?

Most underrated build to clean everything ?

    Posted: 01 May 2021 10:28 PM PDT

Hey, i'm curious about your secret build or most underrated build ? If i can share one, it will be this one (i play it during ritual league), the transcendance version pathfinder claw poison (Pestilent or Viper strike) : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2639074

The transcendance version can do 100% delirium without HH. This build was amazing. And the price were OK tier (20-30ex). Unfortunately, the build got a big damage nerf from elder mod on claw.

even tankier max doge + max block EQ gladiator

    Posted: 02 May 2021 01:56 AM PDT

    heya boys'n'girls,

you know those tanky builds with max block OR max dodge, i saw the new triumvirate authority ring and had the idea to build a max block AND max dodge character.

the idea is to put vaal grace into the ring, stack some increased flask effect for soul catcher to reduce soul gain prevention to 0 (for more details see this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/n2uqip/permanent_vaal_spells_are_back_this_is_the_most/)

the result is a gladiator with max full block, max dodge with 100% chance to avoid elemental ailments and some still respectable damage (tankiness comes nearly for free, damage needs investment) https://pastebin.com/V1e3C517 (see notes section for detailed overview and calculation)

in the POB everything is theoretically only, therefor no capped resistances. for the next few days i'll level a gladiator to test it out and update on problems i might encounter and/or new ideas to improve the build even more.

Suggestions for a very high ceiling fast mapping build ?

    Posted: 02 May 2021 01:43 AM PDT

Hi there. Quick TL;DR at the bottom. So i'm looking for a build that is insanely good for mapping and has a great min-maxing potential.

I dont care about the cost at all, as I intend to play it for a very long time, in standard.

I usually like "smooth gameplay", like cyclone, the kind of gameplay that pretty much cleans everything and moves fast at the same time. This does not necesseraly means i'm looking for a one button / lazy playstyle. I'd simply love zooming extremely fast through maps & wiping mobs.

I have no preference for the class.

    Any ideas ?

Quick context : fairly new player (started during the last week of 3.12), i have something like 700/800 hours of playing time. My best character is a lvl95 Facebreaker Cyclone Champion (34M dps iirc) that i played during ritual. I'm not experienced by any means, but still know a bit about the game & its mechanics, so I'm not afraid to dive into a complicated build with unusual interactions. I like to learn anyway. Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks in advance !

TL;DR : looking for a fast mapping build, with insanely high potential, that i can push higher & higher. No investment or class conditions.

    Cyclone Slayer dying too easy.

    Posted: 01 May 2021 11:29 PM PDT

Hey guys, so my Cyclone Slayer is doing t10-12 maps atm, and is starting to get overwhelmed. My damage seems to be there but my defensive end does not. The league mechanic has been giving me issues and I find myself in full panic mode on some bosses. I have a few kinda directed questions on what to do.

I was running CWDT > Steelskin > Blood Rage > Summon Ice Golem. This was the one area I kinda felt I could find me stability defensively. I am currently looking to move over to all 20 CWDT > Molten Shell > Blood Rage > Immortal Call. I was wondering if that 4 link setup would be the best for me defensively?

I am stuck on a Praxis ring due to mana issues. With full Auras up Herald of Purity > Pride > Dread Banner > Precision > Blood and Sand, I only have 33 mana in my pool. This is ok for now I am able to do everything I need, just cant add more mana cost auras. Given the price for me to move away from it is high given a 6L Chest I would need alone is 30e I will probably be on Praxis for awhile.

My talent tree is kind of a mess, just due to the fact 2h Cyclone Slayer PoB are well none existent? I have a few on my PoB but all are for things like 1h or claw builds, or HC 2h Slayers. If you see some glaring issue with the tree it would help. The PoB's I currently "follow/borrow" from, Zizaran's Cyclone Slayer, Dex2644's 1h Impale Cyclone Slayer, and Bergerbrush's Impale Cyclone Champion (Slayer BoP).

I currently have 3e and some 50ish Chaos saved. I am working towards the bigger upgrades. But not sure if side tracking for better boots, gloves, or neck might be a better play?

    Here is my Character

    My Character PoB Pastebin

I come here a lot for help, and thank you for the senior players for looking out for newer guys!

Asking for help making Ziz's BFBB more survivable

    Posted: 01 May 2021 05:31 PM PDT

    Hi there,

I have started to struggle with this build in ~T12+ maps as my max attack/spell chance doesn't seem to be keeping me alive anymore. I understand that one could always get more life, but I am looking for hopefully more than that.

Basically, I'm wanting to know if there are any relatively easy extra layers of defense to grab for this build as I'd like to take it to end game. I have a decent amount of currency - Would it cost an arm and a leg just to get anything effective for this build or should I just reroll? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

I need a visually Stimulating build that can be played with a wrist injury

    Posted: 01 May 2021 01:43 PM PDT

Background: I've been playing Exsanguinate Scion, and while I love the base game play, I find that I am very bored of the look of the skill. I very much enjoy the one button full screen clear, but I am not overthrilled with its bossing speed. I'm clearing t16 maps decently fast and have around 8-10 ex or so to spare. I recently however, found that I have a wrist injury and have to wear a brace full time. My range if motion is difficult and piano style builds are not something I'm capable of playing. (BF/BB, Hexblast, Warcry Slammers Anything with 3+ buttons needing to be pressed frequently)

What I'm looking for: I'd like a visually satisfying skill with decent to good clear that's capable of all content in the game. I really like "poppy" skills(Infernal Blow and Hexblast), but it doesn't have to be this type of skill. I very much enjoy the visual satisfaction of the one death effects. I normally prefer more fire oriented visuals and frequently run ignite builds but they've grown to expensive as a result of Burning Arrow. I've considered something like a mjolner build or potentially discharge, but I've never messed with them so I don't know their pricing. If you have any questions or need any more info, I will be glad to answer.

Tl;DR If anyone could recommend a flashy visually stimulating build that can be played with limited buttons, I'd very much appreciate it.

Looking for a bossing focussed Storm Brand build.

    Posted: 02 May 2021 03:29 AM PDT

So I decided to reroll after failing both Maven and The Hidden on my staff cyclone chieftain. In both cases I found myself being able to stay alive for sometime by running around but died the moment I decided to get close to do damage.

So now I'm looking for a storm brand build that I can attach the brand to the boss and just run around. At first I was thinking of going archmage because of the added tankiness of MOM against both hits and especially degens, but couldn't really find something outside of poe ninja. Thoses on poe ninja are all using bottled faith and unnatural instinct etc. super expensive.

I found other storm brand builds on youtube and forums but they weren't archmage so I couldn't know if they were tanky enough for me who is bad at not getting hit.

My budget is around 30-35 ex maybe 40 and I don't know for sure if storm brand is viable at that budget,if not then I'm looking for a build that has single target and tankiness I'm not focussed on clear speed.

    Thanks in advance.

Which build took you to the endgame this league?

    Posted: 01 May 2021 10:04 AM PDT

I'm curious what are the builds people actually make it to endgame with. I'm struggling rn at tier 13-ish with my archmage BB raider because of mana sustain on bosses. I can barelly make a lvl79 Catarina, takes like 5min cause I can attack once per 5sec. So maybe I can get some ideas to reroll.

Noob Builder - Not a vet player

    Posted: 02 May 2021 01:53 AM PDT

I've been messing around with Death's Oath. I quite like the idea of a walking sim to be completely honest and I have been seeing some epic builds out there that all basically do the same thing.

Now, I was wondering if it is at all possible to use the Chaos Inoculation passive instead of grabbing all the extra life nodes and chaos res to counter the constant dmg from the chest. However the damage gained from the Lifetap support is massive on the chest - Does that kill you if you have only 1 life?

Let's be honest I have no idea what I am actually doing, I just know I need DOT and ES (LOTS of ES)

Here is the mess I have come up with, it's still VERY unfinished (I checked the un-named small cluster jewels and they can/ do exist from what I could find)

Do the skills on your cospris really matter on Coc?

    Posted: 02 May 2021 01:42 AM PDT

First CoC build and I've been messing around with different skills. Main link ice spear seems to be best but the skills on the actual cospris don't seem to make any difference at all which I use. Does it matter or is the reason why they vary so much because people use whatever colors work with the corrupted cospris? The only two that seem mandatory frost bomb for exposure and power charge on crit if you're not assassin.

Would you recommend anything else? Thanks for help.
