Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder - going Iron Reflexes helped SO MUCH but not sure how to keep improving

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 06:20 PM PST

    PB: https://pastebin.com/nEMuhrRB

Iron Reflexes + capped spell suppression has done wonders for my survivability. I'm fairly comfortable in T14-16, but once I start putting a reasonable amount of juice into my maps my single-target damage is lacking and I start dying. T16 Minotaur with the Maven watching I barely made it on my last portal, and my first Sirus (A8) I failed.

I'm not sure how to push my build higher. Glorious Vanity? Should I try to get some cluster jewels and work them into my build? Most of the players on poe.ninja seem to use them.

    Currently I have 1ex and 416c.

Any good melee SSF build thats not Cyclone for 1.16?

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 01:11 AM PST

I have tried the new Concoction thingy but Im kinda over Poison at this point. Been doing different ones for the past leagues. Melee just seem dead but I miss it. Im in a private league with a few others so we share gear and I was hoping there is some decent melee still out there :P

Any interesting assassin builds for 3.16

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 02:17 AM PST

I really wanna play assassin but it seems as if the class is dead or something. Are there still some fun builds out there for the class? I myself was thinking crit freezing pulse but i dont know how viable that is. Any help would be appreciated.

    Skele Mages Necro

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 11:12 PM PST

Looking to make a cheap bosser and I've never used a minion skill before. Is Skele Mages a good pick for this, I know nothing about the build? If so can someone recommend me the best PoB for just cheap Maven/Sirus killer? It seems now more than ever that there are a lot of bad PoBs and such on YouTube so I wanted to make sure I got a good once since I know nothing going in. Thanks!

Edit: the build won't touch maps and is only meant to do invitations, sirus, maven etc. Also, if there is a better strict, boss only, build I'm open for suggestions.

    Ice shot builds

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 02:26 AM PST

    Hi hive mind!

So I love IceShot because I'm a masochist that paid for 6 portals and uses 6 portals,

Ive only played it a few times but never getting far or starting late into league.

I'm curious on the asenaths chant. I know hydrosphere and poachers mark are used and then it's bone hill and creeping frost... Anybody able to explain why those 2 and not anything else?

Then what's do people prefer, clusters or the no clusters option?

Sorry I have so many questions 😅

    Need a tanky build

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 10:06 PM PST

Hey guys. I tried out PathofMatth's EoW miner build this league and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Until t12+ maps. I'm a very very casual player, as in one who needs about a week to get an ex.

I attempted to kill Sirus today, and failed miserably. Damage was there and I knew his attacks and phases, but I suck at the game and the build is squishy, so one misstep led to my unavoidable death. So now I want to try a build that I can kill map bosses at t12+ without a fear of dying once or twice and face tank shit (or Sirus). I have about 4ex at my disposal for a second character atm, so a cheap but ok build is a must. What do you guys suggest? I'm open for everything that fit my budget, just send a pob link and how to level the character up.

    Frost Bomb with traps/mines

    Hey.

How does FB work when used with multiple trap/mines? Does it have cooldown? Can I only have one FB from mines? I'm theorycrafting something, but have no access to PoE right now. Much appreciated if someone could give me some quick insights on it.

    Questions about Skele Mages

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 07:53 PM PST

Hi, I'm currently leveling skele mages after beating Sirius for the first time on my PC Occult. Just have a couple of questions regarding all the different builds out there.

    1) I see a lot of different vaal skele setups in poe ninja. Eg: GMP/Volley/LMP for skeles, raise spectres + zombies/AG + feeding frenzy/meatshield. Is it all personal preference or are there different uses for each variation?

    2) I just got a trigger wand but i'm not really sure what to put in it. I'm thinking molten shell + desecrate + bone offering? Are there better options?

    3) What auras are generally run in the build or is it just based on what your char needs?

    Thanks in advance!

PS: No POB yet cos I'm still leveling but I will definitely try out all the variations to see what the differences are. Just wanted to gather some general views so I know what to expect/look out for when I'm testing it.

Build that can run all map mods, and ALL scourge map mods

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 12:12 PM PST

Hello, looking for a build that can run T16 scourge maps + kill map boss. No "real" bosses required e.g. Sirus. My desires for the build are:

    • Full clear the nightmare/scourge on t16s
    • Preferably up and running on under 10ex budget

    • Can run all scourge mods. Problematic mods listed below:

      • Lose x life per second
        • Good leech or some high regen + flask uptime would likely work here.
      • Players have -x% to Physical Damage Reduction while in Nightmare
        • Important to keep phys dmg reduction % very high to account for this mod in combination with the "phys dmg when you shift" mod.
      • Take x phys dmg when you shift
        • I believe this can go up to 30,000. I'd be happy to be able to tank 21,000 at least, as that's the highest I see regularly
      • Take x fire/light dmg when you shift
        • Probably run triple purities for this?
      • Players have x% reduced Movement Speed while in Nightmare
        • This one gets really annoying when you get to around 140% reduced, as you cannot move at all unless you have either a QS flask or use a movement skill. Not sure how to mitigate this other than some pathfinder esque flask effect + uptime (or mageblood). Maybe The Stampede would work.
      • Normal map mods, e.g. ele/phys reflect, curses. I have an Atziri's reflection so I could use that for the curses if needed.

I am somewhat comfortable theorycrafting the build w.r.t. items, but my skill tree planning is not great, and I'm also not sure which skill or ascendancy would work best with these requirements.

    Spitballing some ideas, I've considered:

    • Scion Miner, aura stacking with Guardian + Sabo
    • Scion Elehit, Slayer (overleech) + PF(?) for flask life recovery/uptime/movepeed/atk speed?
    • Guardian, phys reduction + big life regen, maybe Spiders?

I've been fun theorycrafting this, please let me know if anyone has skill/build recommendations!

DPS needed for T16 Juiced Maps and Wave 20+ Deli?

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 06:48 PM PST

Ive been working on ruetoo KB CF build and am enjoying it in a lot of sense, but Im just sub a mil dps (like 960k dps) and bossing on T16 is miserable and mobs are not too bad cause of pops. I just crafted my +1 phys spells and +1 strength gems and have a plus 1 socketed gems chest piece (cant afford skin of the lords yet). But mapping bosses and even dealing with certain rares is annoying. Curious at what the dps threshold is to actually do more juiced content more comfortably.

Looking for a guide for tornado shot

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 03:06 PM PST

I'm looking to do a tornado shot deadeye but it seems every single dead eye on poe ninja is just a magic finder and not looking to play it to endgame so im not able to find an endgame build for tornado shot, is tornado shot even a viable end game skill or would scourge arrow be better. I also see everyone using hydrosphere is that a bossing skill they use or is it for mobbing too. Is there anyone using scourge or tornado shot in the end game that could share a skilltree build?

3.16 Raider SST Cold Crit - Need you help !

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 02:56 AM PST

    Hey guys,

I'm trying to build a good Raider Spectral Shield Throw with 100% cold conversion and crit, both for DPS and to freeze bosses.
I haven't found any updated guide for this, and while I've been looking on this sub and on poe ninja to give me guidelines, I feel now like I'm hitting a wall.

I have invested over 15ex in this build, which for me is a lot.
The build is great, high dps, good mobility, and I'm able to do T16, Maven10, Sirus and conquerors.
But I struggle to get it to the next level. I see some insane 20M+ pob of this build, and I'm not sure how to get there; and I wish I could survive a bit more, because if I don't instant freeze everything in sight in scourge/simulacrum, I'm down a portal.

So I'm looking for resources and advices on how and what to upgrade for the build to be better ! Here is my pob: https://pastebin.com/C76kkbxJ

    Thanks for your help !

    Looking for a build

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 02:49 AM PST

Hey guys, i leagestarted as cold dot per guide i was following and i haven't enjoyed it, seeing as the build is super expensive and i feel that part was marketed deceivingly. I am looking for a new build and was wondering if you had any suggestions. I was thinking Tr champion but i known its super expensive or a frost arrow build but i don't know how it holds up. Anyway, let me know whatbyou think!

Ele Hit Raider or Lightning Strike Raider (CF/TS still not feeling good)

    Posted: 07 Nov 2021 06:43 PM PST

So longstory short, I've invested like 20-25ex into cf/ts build and it still just feels clunky and squishy, squishy is fine if my damage was higher but mostly it's the clunkiness. It just doesn't feel good to me.

I ran seismic/ex trapper as leaguestarter and it's amazing, but I'm looking for a nem3 farmer, deli at least 60%, and someone I can run heists with quickly. I did ele hit raider back in 3.14 for my first league and it was amazing. Heists were a breeze, clearing whole screen was nothing. Granted this was pre-3.15 nerf so idk how viable ele hit raider is these days with a budget of 20-30ex.

So all in all, can anyone give me some guidance on which to choose? I have a budget of about 25-30ex to get started. I'm not sure if lightning strike raider or ele hit raider would be better for this league. Also I want it to feel GOOD with this budget and then scale higher from that point forward. I don't care at all about bossing minus simple map bosses. I have my seismic trapper for every other boss.

    Cheers!

(New Player)Can anyone review this build for me? SST Gladatior.

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 01:52 AM PST

New player here, Always followed a build guide for 150 hours and decided to try my hand at building around a skill I want to try. I know that SST was nerfed hard but it looked and felt fun so I really want to give it a try. One thing Im struggling with is getting enough damage and life without breaking a huge amount of currency. If anyone could suggest a budget version as well I would be very grateful.

Is it possible to fix General's Cry missing with strike skills?

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 01:27 AM PST

I am trying out General's Cry with Static Strike to take advantage of the new "Warcries have a minimum of 10 power" mastery, and when I first got GC running, it felt great: good clear, decent single target, and super mobile with Call to Arms. But then I realized that I wasn't always getting 4 static strike procs like I should, even with Resolute Technique so I know I'm not being evaded. It turns out that the mirage warriors' attack time is long enough that they just constantly hit air trying to swing at where the target was a fraction of a second ago. They can't hit fast enemies basically at all, but even regular ranged enemies that don't move much shift around enough that they only get hit maybe 3 out of 4 times.

I was hoping the GC/SS combo would let me get away with neglecting attack speed, but it seems like getting crazy high attack speed is the only way to be able to hit anything. Are there any other ways to solve this problem? I don't have much strike range yet, but that doesn't seem like it would solve the problem unless it also makes the hitbox bigger (I haven't really played a strike build before).

how hard did glad bleed bow get nerfed?

    Posted: 08 Nov 2021 01:25 AM PST

Copying ziggyd bleed glad bow build from a yr ago and he has 10 mill on pob while I am at 370k with almost the same gear besides the bow which is hard to beat now with a rare bow since they removed % chance of doing 100% more dmg with bleed mod. Red T12-14 maps aren't melting as fast and bosses take like 10s...
