For the last week I pulled together various PoCo pathfinder builds floating around and attempted to consolidate them all into a single base with flexibility to customize around individual preference/budget. Since there have been regular posts on the sub asking about PoCo surviving scourge, i've worked hard to create a good balance between offense/defense that can be tailored to succeed even on red maps. -GMP only - 2 overlaps -GV only - 2 or 3 overlaps, average 2.8 overlaps (10 tries) -GMP and GV - 4 or 5 overlaps, average 4.5 overlaps(10 tries)
-GMP only - 5 overlaps -GMP and GV - 8 or 9 overlaps, average 8.8(10 tries)
-GMP only - 5 overlaps -GMP and GV - 9 overlaps Also some conclusions based on these findings and some PoB thinke ring.

Need help with my skelly mages, Can't go over T10 maps Posted: 21 Nov 2021 01:42 AM PST Hi, I started skelly mages last week and up to T10 maps everything is great but when I go over it I just get one shot for no reason and my skelly dps is just ok but not amazing. I see people doing sirus and wave 30 but right now it feels impossible for my because I lack survivability. Also i'm not really sure what gem setup to run and which spectres. Looking for a mid-league all-arounder that can handle just about all activities pretty well Posted: 20 Nov 2021 06:23 PM PST Hey folks, Looking to transition into a new all-arounder build in the middle of the league, now that I've farmed up some currency. My current character is a level 93 flicker strike raider with Doryani's Prototype, and although I do quite like it, the one thing that really bothers me about the build is how much certain bosses, for example shaper, and the one elder guardian - and even certain map bosses - just completely delete the build because of the negative lightning res. It's a cool idea, and it's crazy tanky against everything else, but it's not that fun to play a tanky build that works 90% of the time - that extra 10% makes getting to a high level a real pain. So I'm looking for another build to finish the league out with. Here's what I'm looking for, kinda in priority order: Musts: - Tanky. Ideally elemental ailment immune, max block, a billion armour, maybe leech, good ES total (maybe CI?). Basically if I'm blocked in progression somewhere, I want it to be because I need better gear for damage, not because I'm dying all the time. - Capable of bossing well. I haven't killed shaper or elder this league yet (partially because of not really being able to with my flicker strike character, which is the one I'm furthest along with so far - so I want to be able to (relatively) easily do that, and Sirus A8 as well. - Not the slowest mapper ever. Doesn't need to be turbo-zoom at all - happy with very much average map speed. Nice to haves: - Smooooooth gameplay. Ideally a bunch of auras and gameplay itself is only a button or three. I'm fine with bosses having `cooldown abilities` like totems or hydrosphere or similar things, but for this reason I'd like to avoid a miner for instance. But yeah for mapping, right-click-mostly (like flicker strike or cyclone) would be great. - No content is out of reach. I like doing legions, breaches, heists, incursions, bossing, delving, and especially simulacrums - I used to be SSF (not anymore) so I still stick with the mentality of 'do what you have' - so I do it all. Budget: - Quick answer - like 20-40ex as a starting point. - Longer answer - In a perfect world I'd like to have something that's functional early - like, it doesn't require 20 ex to do T16 maps reasonably, for instance - but would have the ability to sink potentially mirrors into it later with super refined gear. How to improve my Vortex Occultist? Posted: 20 Nov 2021 07:52 PM PST Hi, I've been playing this league for quite a few hours as Cold DoT Occultist (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6BGE8jnhf0) and it's really fun to play. I'm at a point where I can somewhat troublefree kill Sirus AL8 but I still die way too much while mapping. I've been at level 92 for quite some time due to too many deaths. This is the first league that I've really put some time into PoE and a lot of stuff is really new to me so it's kinda hard to look at my gear and seeing what I could/should change and how to do that, so I wanted to ask you guys how I might be able to optimize my gear some more and where to invest and stuff like that... Ambush Static Strike Elementalist PoB - Looking for suggestions and improvements Posted: 21 Nov 2021 12:46 AM PST Started playing Static Strike yesterday because I wanted to try out the snapshotting interaction with Ambush and found the unique semi-autobomber playstyle interesting. From my first tests on T14-15 maps with still only half-levelled gems it is actually quite fun. Clear is decent thanks to herald of ice explosions, survivability is good (6k life + 2k Aegis, fortify, 40k armour + 4 endurance charges + chaos golem) with one big exception I will get to and single target is also not bad for the 6-7ex I have invested until now (7-8M with hydrosphere up). DPS is scaled via Paradoxica and flat damage Abyss jewels in addition to the easily capped crit thanks to Ambush. The only big problem is the clunkiness of getting your first static strike hit in every 6s to start beaming. Now, I expected this but I did not think it would be quite that bad because obviously I never played a strike skill with 1.5APS before... Due to that I have changed the build already and added Tribal Fury for strike range and the additional target as well as some investment into attack speed. That helped a lot but there are times, especially in Scourge with 100+ stacks, where I simply get deleted before the strike hits (or because I missclick or other jankyness I assume). Inquisitor could work too. Would be interested to hear any advice or suggestions you might have for improving the build. I'm looking for a MF build in ssf, I don't plan to farm tower specifically but litteraly any low tier map to get some of the uniques that I need for my rf Inquisitor like brass dome and also some currency so I can make use of crafting (4 exalts so far over the entire league have been found), I would really appreciated any information and also please don't make it again a thread that has comments like:my fav streamer in trade league does x you should do the same in ssf. I think best options for me would be either CF TS or LS Raider but I dont really know which one to choose. For start budget would be around 30ex but I want to invest more after into it. I'm having some issues in survivability and dps on red T14+ maps. Fighting bosses takes forever - their HP bar drops at an awfully slow rate (the fight can go on for several minutes), but it often only takes one of their attacks for me to die. I thought I didn't have the worst defense, but something is wrong. The weird thing is that for me the determinant of survival is Energy Shield. I noticed that if it drops to zero, I will most likely die. I also let go of the heist above lvl 80. I get too many one-shots. I would also like to increase my DPS somehow, but I have no idea how. Big thread strong of Endless Delve Build suggestions please! Posted: 21 Nov 2021 03:06 AM PST I am looking for a strong endless delve build for the 10 day event (hc one) preferably something that has a good shot to win ascendency / win deepest delve. Could anyone suggest any builds that would do well under the endless delve conditions (gear is hard to get, no crafting bench, etc) My initial idea was to play cyclone hoag juggernaut as I have taken that deep in delve before (850 depth in hc harvest) but gear restraints are going to be a lot stricter so I am not sure how well this would do. My idea for why this would work is it would have the best base health regen (end charges) as well as fortify/LGOH from cyclone, and it is a build where most talent points can be put into life, and it should be able to fit herald of agony + determination + vitality (taking the mana res nodes, determination res mastery, vitality res mastery). My second thought was inquisitor but his regen does not do nearly as well without a replica soul tether which isn't available in endless delve event Can we just get a discussion going with alot of good build suggestions? My current pob says 5 million dps but I'm doing tier 16 maps nothing crazy just quality 20+ alc and the mobs are living for wayy to long. It definitely doesn't feel like 5 million. Ignite char here and dying at T15 maps... help needed Posted: 20 Nov 2021 04:44 PM PST newbie here, So i did a yolo and jumped straight into delve deep 92 (monster level 79) and survived. Than I bought a T15 map and died 3 times in it. It had some mods but normal mobs just vanished, see the picture, I died by a dot and I have troubles to check my health bar and will just panicky spam my potions. My PoB build with my current gems and gear is this : I'm currently sitting on 1x exalted and 390 chaos, I want to re-build this char no matter what (I just hate the labyrinth), I want more sustain and more damage. And I also know, that you should never tell anyone your currency and / or gold, but do you have any suggestions ? ideas or what to do now now ? [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 20 Nov 2021 08:11 PM PST I'm sure I'm just crazy at this point but I haven't once done a build this league that I truly enjoy enough to invest all my time and currency into. I got lucky with a The Fiend drop earlier on and decided to make a CoC Ice Nova Assassin. It was going great until I realized the 9 exalts from The Fiend was only enough to get the build to farm low red maps at a moderate pace. Had 100% crit, had good eHP, zero mana cost spells, etc but still needed much more to make it work; bosses took forever to take down and would routinely one shot my 5k ES. I also got bored of it anyway as I wanted a build that could both clear well and take down bosses. I barely reached 600k dps with all buffs anyway so I gave up and sold my gear. The though of having to invest another 10ex (I mean awakened CoC was 16ex alone so I'm not even including that) just to make the build work in red and guardian maps made me nauseous. I now have 6-7 exalts sitting around and have tried Boneshatter Juggernaut (super tanky but bossing was unbearably slow, plus I don't like melee builds anymore- seems that you stand still for 2 seconds and you just die to anything), Slayer Shield Crush (again, melee), Poison Concoction (leveled extremely quickly but my build was fucked when it got to maps, maybe the guide I followed wasn't great or I didn't really grasp the mechanics of it well besides having a high recovery divine flask), leveled a twink Spark Inquisitor to maps and defenses are just nonexistant in the guide I followed and at any rate I don't think Spark/Vaal Spark is good like it was years ago, Toxic Rain Champion is just so boring. I do have a minion build currently lvl 49 following Kay's guide who obviously has a great reputation so I trust her shit. I just don't know whether to go for Skele mages or her occultist spider build with Arakaali's. The Skele mages feel a bit slow for clear but the spiders seem pretty nice. I was also looking at Mathil's Lancing Steel build but it's a CoC and I already got a taste of how expensive that shit is. I've never tried a wander so that seems fun if 6 exalts is enough to get it started. At this point I just want a fun build that can level fast (if I have to make a new character, I have all the necessary leveling uniques), clear whites and yellows before level 68 (meaning the build comes online very quickly), and take down bosses quickly. I have 6 exalted orbs to spend and I'm hoping it's enough to just get things running reliably that can improve well with more investment as I run juiced up maps. TL;DR: Tried over 5 builds this league and never got far; looking for a fun build that can come online quickly and can take on red maps with a 6 exalted orb investment that can improve with more investment. I played and had fun with two main builds. One was a hollow palm raider that zooms around and can clear a map in seconds, but is very very underwhelming with bosses. The other was a boss specialist totem Hiero that is really great with bosses but is not very fun to map with. So, I do a lot of switching characters based on the needs of my Atlas :) What I am really hungry for is a B+ mapper and A boss killer in one character. I don't need to map as fast as my raider but I don't want to be ultra slow either. I want to handle T16 maps, the bosses and the Atlas bosses with the same character I map on. The character needs to have solid defenses as I am not a great gamer honestly. I know the game but I am an older gamer and I am not mistake free on boss fights, so I need a character that allows for that. Help me out friends. Detailed guides are great if you can link them or just PoB's work, but let me know what you think might fit my description. Oh yea, budget! Need some help on improving energy blade build Posted: 21 Nov 2021 01:05 AM PST Made myself a bit of a meme build using energy blade with battlemage to scale a CoC character, the goal was to reach crit cap using energy blade to trigger CoC, be somewhat tanky and have a decent all-around character. I have gotten the character to feel good but Im still unable to clear simulacrum 30/30 on a 250~ exalt budget.I keep dying on wave 23-25 ish, mostly getting oneshot or running out of coruscating flask and then promptly dying to chaos damage or lack of mana. I have another 100-150 exalts I could invest but not sure what the best route would be. Any help would be appreciated [link] [comments] | ||

Looking for a POB for corrupting fever tornado shot gladiator Posted: 20 Nov 2021 11:57 PM PST I've been looking to try and find a build guide that explains the key items but the only one I've found is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dyaod7SfCO0&t=10s this one, whose bow appears to be literally impossible (I can't see crafted physical damage over time multiplier going over 20%). Also the items seem weirdly low investment, so I'm not exactly trusting this. Ideally a build that can get started farming endgame maps for less than 60ex, but I can always farm more if I need to.
