    Are there any examples of players that only play certain builds on poe ninja?

    Is there any chaos damage in heists ?

    Does anyone know if any of the monsters you can encounter while heisting deal significant amounts of chaos damage ? Just wondering if I need to worry about chaos resistance for the endless heist event

    [Endless Delve SSF/Build Help] Keep dying to those big spiders, how don't I?

    As the title says, keep dying to the big spiders in delve. Can facetank most other stuff. The spiders just one shot me most times. Are they just overpowered or am i overlooking something in my defensive setup?

    Defences are:
    4k life (ye i know, working on it)
    80% ele res
    crit immunity (brass dome)
    ailment immunity (100%)
    spell suppression (100%)
    15k armour
    chaos res -60% :(
    elusive (max 160%)

    As I said on everything else my healthbar barely moves, while these shitters just absolutely destroy me. Are they doing chaos dmg? Because that's the only weakness I really see. Doesn't make much sense though from how they look.

    Boss killer with 75-100ex investment?

    I rarely play boss killing builds but managed after playing/gearing a few mappers to gather close to 100ex in liquid currency.

    What build(s) are viable with this investment for mindless boss farming this league? I'd like to change up my playstyle for the last leg of this dead league.

    Looking for some info on CoC CI Forbidden Rite Builds, but it seems there isn't much out there.

    Hi everyone,

    I am really interested in dumping some currency into a Forbidden Rite character, and my previous favourite build ever was CoC Ice Nova. Thought I could find a slightly new take on the CoC character and I settled on CoC CI Forbidden Rite Occultist. What I've heard about it is pretty promising.

    However I'm struggling to find info out there for it. Things I am planning on doing:

    • Taking the current Self-cast Forbidden Rite Build and tweaking it for CoC with Aegis Aurora, different clusters and retooled for Crit Chance. Using this as a starting point https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLVVUZQysKU&t=30s
    • Using my headhunter on the build, I think this build can make good use of the Headhunter buffs
    • I want this to be my currency sink for the rest of the league. I got a bit tired of playing CF TS Glad and I want a "to the moon" build which can do all content.

    Need some ideas and a starting point for one, I am estimating a starting budget of between 50-60ex to make it feel smooth, leveling with Either good ol Hollow Palm, Poisonous Concoction or self cast FR. Then Re-speccing into CoC probably around 85-90.

    Open to suggestions!

    Need advice on crafting a LA bow please

    LA MF homie and I are looking to craft a bow with the following on it...

    Fires two arrows (suff) Flat cold added (prefix) (Hunter) Cold damage per dex (prefix) [Bench crafts] Can have three mods (prefix) Attack speed craft (suff) Elem pen w this weapon craft (suff)

    Looking at craft of exile, it looks like the only things with cold tags are flat cold, cold added per dex (w/ hunter influence of course), and cold resist.

    We believe the best method will be... Alt spam fires two arrows (anull pray if it hits two mods) Meta craft suffix can't change Imprint Harvest craft cold / cold more common Hope we hit what we need and not resistance... if we hit resistance we annul pray again and go back to the imprint if it bricks.

    Are we missing anything??

    Looking to remake an old build

    Im trying to remake an old, one of my favorite builds i've ever played. It was before ascendancies and i dont know even where to start

    It was huge aoe self cast ice nova with flame surge for single target. It used pledge of hands and carcass jack, thats all i remember.

    I was thinking power charge stacking woth occultist and void batreries or something like that but not sure.

    Any help and tips would be appreciated.

    Explosive trap + Flammability on hit ring

    As title said, I was testing Explosive trap while wearing Flammability on hit and I notice Explosive trap applies Flammability on hit, the enemies hit with it also have the line "Vulnerable to Fire". I thought Trap and Mine cannot apply curse this way?

    Question for Spiders upgrades

    I'm running single delirium Nem3 or other moderately juiced content and don't seem to be having many problems (high extra life is a bit slow sometimes). Plan is to eventually save for a Squire. I'm at around 40ex saved now. Is it worth it to spend some of that on upgrading my clusters (or other gear) or should I just keep pushing to save? I'm not great at POB but when I swap in some of those ridiculously expensive clusters, I'm gaining only around 10% (or less) DPS compared to the relatively shitty ones I have now. It doesn't seem like its worth it, but maybe I'm missing something.

    I also don't have despair on hit on my gloves/ring and am manually casting it. It seems just as quick since I'm not constantly channeling Divine Ire anyways. Am I missing something here as to why that would be useful?

    THE CRUSADER - Consecrated Path + Divine Ire + Absolution Fanaticism Inquisitor | Most fun I've ever had in early maps!

    This league was very much an experimental league for me, where I tried many different build ideas to see what kind of 'meme' builds I could bring into relevancy. So far, only one of them is capable of clearing end-game content, a Permanent Ward Forbidden Rite build which I posted a little over a week ago.

    This is my last build attempt for now, as I've wanted to make a build with this kind of gameplay: teleporting around to enemies, smashing them, and then blasting them with Divine Ire, all with very 'holy' looking abilities for a Crusader kind of feeling.

    So, with that, I have this hilarious abomination of a build to present:

    Consecrated Path Divine Ire Absolution Fanaticism Inquisitor

    The mechanic of the build is pretty simple, actually: with the Fanaticism node from Inquisitor, we get the following gameplay pattern: activate Battlemage's Cry (so that our first Consecrated Path triggers Absolution), use Consecrated Path 4 times, and then you have a 4 second window where Divine Ire is supercharged, so you can go blasting. Then Battlemage's Cry will be off cooldown, so pop it again, use Consecrated Path 4 more times, then go blasting again, and so on. Given that we're doing this with 3 5/6 link main abilities, it's pretty solid clear speed, but pretty poor damage scaling for bosses/red maps/any end-game content.

    Suffice to say, it was the absolute most fun I've had in early maps since I started playing Path of Exile. Absolutely a blast to play. You just teleport around, smash things, blow things up, spawning giant Sentinels of Absolution who also blow things up—it's really fun!

    The only problem is: this build takes such an absurd amount of passive tree investment to get any kind of damage/survivability out of it that it really can't work in red maps (super glass cannon) nor against end-game bosses (pitiful damage).

    I likely held back on the focus on primarily scaling damage via Strength, physical damage, and elemental damage (all kinds thanks to conversion, especially Fire though), since all my damage is affected by these types, because I also wanted some measure of defenses. Perhaps with looking at other Strength stacking builds, we can find a stronger version and improve this build.

    However, because we are memeing with 3 main 5/6 linked abilities, we have some requirements on gear:

    • Helm - Divine Ire helm with specific additional-support-gem-linking mods to make it a 6-link, limiting it from uniques and such (unless perhaps very strong corrupted implicit/Scourge modifiers on a replacement unique can make up for what is lacking)
    • Weapon - 2 Handed Melee weapon with good base damage for Consecrated Path damage scaling + 6 link for Consecrated Path
    • Chest - 6 link for Battlemage's Cry + Absolution 5 link
    • Rings - this is where our Lightning to Cold conversion is coming from; unless we can find a Lighting to Fire 50%+ conversion from elsewhere, we have to rely on lightning to cold, and then cold to fire conversions.
    • Avatar of Fire - we need this to make up for the other 50% conversions to Fire missing at some stages; if other conversions can be found, we can diversify our damage type output, potentially, with things like 'Gain as Extra Chaos Damage' mods.

    Overall, we require a lot of work to be done to improve this build to workability. If it can be done, I'd love to try it; the gameplay was very fun! It only lacked feasibility with respect to damage and survivability against bosses and in higher monster levels.

    Problems with the Build & Possible Future Solutions

    • Lack of Damage: we scale our damage off of Physical Damage (since all our skills are all base physical), Lightning Damage, Cold Damage, and Fire Damage (since most of our damage is converted through all elemental types), with Physical and Fire Damage being applicable to the highest percentages of our damage. In addition, stacking Strength gives us lots of damage for both attack and spell damage, thanks to the Iron Will keystone and The Iron Fortress chest piece. But it's not enough. Even with some insane mods on our helm for Divine Ire, we have difficulties exceeding a million DPS, even during Fanaticism! We're going to need some new scaling or buffs to really have this combination of skills become viable for anything past yellow maps.
    • Lack of Survivability/Lack of Passive Skill Points for Survivability: our build requires so much investment to do any damage that it's very difficult for it not to be a glass cannon, but it can't afford to be a glass cannon: since we stand still during Fanaticism, and since we tend to stand still besides when we teleport thanks to Consecrated Path, we need to be tanky. So either we need more passive points, or we need a big DPS boost to free up more passives and possibly gear mod spots for defenses.
    • Lack of Mobility/Speed: right now, the boots I have boost our DPS significantly, given that they buff Fire Damage, which we desperately need. Unfortunately, our movement speed suffers accordingly. And due to the relatively low attack speed of Consecrated Path, we don't move very fast even when we teleport, since we hit (and thus teleport) only once per second maximum.

    If we get future buffs to this build archetype, perhaps we can get a really fun teleporting/smashing/blowing up things Crusader-style build going for higher end content. But for now, this is a solid meme-status build for earlier maps. It's very fun, and pretty funny to play, but not viable for any real content, unfortunately. Let's hope that changes in the future.

    [PoB question] Molten Strike DPS calculation

    What are the pros and cons of coc vs self cast? And if i intend to only really use it to clear my uber blight maps, which would be better?

    Mageblood Bossing Build?

    Can anyone suggest a strong Bossing Build that takes advantage of Mageblood? I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I'm looking for something I could start on a 5-10ex budget. I am playing a version of Pohx's RF inquisitor right now and the Mageblood makes it feel super smooth and chill, but I feel like my boss dps is still a bit low.

    I have never played a CoC build - but it looks like those may need a lot more investment to get started. Is that true or could I get going for less, given Mageblood.

    [SSF] Scion Toxic Rain league starter build?
