| Noob Question About Duelist Cyclone Builds Posted: 13 Mar 2022 11:17 PM PDT I have a duelist, level 40, running through the quest content, softcore, trade, new league. I grabbed two swords, grabbed a bunch of dual-wield nodes, and some leech nodes. I have a 4 link with Cyclone, it works pretty good. I wanna continue playing Cyclone, but which ascendancy to pick? Seems like Gladiator is a no brainer since the image has a guy with two swords. But then there is Champion if you wanna be tanky and use Impale, but the image has a shield and it seems meant for support? Then there's Slayer which looks cool, lots of damage and leech, but he has a two-hander? Basically all I care about is picking the one that has the most potential, and most damage. I plan on soloing so team support skills would be useless. And it seems like the gladiator build is designed to use Bleeds? Basically I just need advice on which direction to take. And is it OK to use two swords and choose Slayer? I looked at some builds on poe.ninja, and noticed almost every build using cyclone runs Slayer, and a Staff. But those builds are way beyond mine, level 100's with the best gear in the game, and using special nodes or whatever that I don't have access to. Any ideas on which path I should take? I know I can always respec everything once I get enough currency. But I am ready to do the ascendancy dungeon so I need to choose. [link] [comments] | ||
| Need help with Palsteron's WOrb Ascendant Posted: 14 Mar 2022 01:24 AM PDT Playing Palsteron's WOrb Ascendant for my mapping build and managed to do well on my first 30ex invested. Currently farming somewhat juiced T16 maps with Breach and but looking to upgrade to do even more juiced maps for higher profit. Hoping to put in Delirium and Beyond but I currently cannot kill Unique Beyond Demons quickly (takes 20 seconds or so each). However, I'm unsure on how to proceed in upgrading my gear. Palsteron's PoB: https://pastebin.com/31AhYYpm My character: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Fallman2/characters I have issues with both offense and defense that both seem to be able to be solved by getting more spell suppression as the spell suppression mastery provides crit chance. However, I currently have resistances on my boots, gloves and belt as opposed to Spell suppression. Even with these resistances, I'm barely over cap (90/87/88) and that's even with additional attributes as opposed to chaos resistances. This difference seems to stem from using a Brass Dome as the body armour as opposed to the extremely expensive Grapsing Mail that is being used as well as the additional resistances corrupted on the amulet. I also have less damage since I cannot afford Slayer forbidden jewels and instead opted for Inquisitor ones for some damage and consecrated ground. Have 30ex more now and hoping someone knows how I should proceed with this. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 14 Mar 2022 12:49 AM PDT Seeing a lot of recent posts on different versions of VG, I made a version of it myself based on my dawnbreaker LS zerker and I think this is the best version of VG based on what I see from other's showcases. Advantages it has over strength stacking venom gyre:
In terms of damage - I think it's somewhat on par with strength stacking VG, this has about 25-30 mil dps per projectile, while it doesn't come close to the super minmaxed strength stackers on poe.ninja, it has enough for all content in the game. I didn't bother comparing this with some of the deadeye/ranger variants, but I feel like they are way squishier than this, and I don't really see them having higher dps either. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 13 Mar 2022 05:21 PM PDT Hey all, I've been thirstin' for some CoC and I'm looking to find something a bit hipster and basically not Ice Spear or Frostbolt. I like stuff like Mathil's Bow CoC Bladefall/Reap from 3.15 and Bladefall/BladeBlast from 3.11. Also eyeing FR that many people seem to be running. I'd really appreciate any suggestions - Thanks! Any good recommendation? I have played mines (normal + scion with mana) and the archmage version but after so many nerfs I am not sure about the archmage. As much as I like the damage potential when it comes to enthroned, I feel as if I'm suffocated trying to minmax resistance. I am looking for a build that can clear map reliably quickly (mainly conqueror's map) and do elderslayers invitation without dying too much. Builds I have played: Characters I have: Levelled scion, shadow, occultist, marauder. Would prefer new build that utilizes mentioned classes. I wanted enough defenses that I wasn't burning portals on t16s, but my damage is pretty pitiful.
