    Title.

    I focused a lot on defenses since I plan to farm Expedition + Sentinel with this build, but the damage feels abysmal once I go into mid red tier maps.

    I think I made something fundamentally wrong, though even after watching a few Spark guides, I can't figure out what.

    Good late league starter for complete beginner friend?

    My friend took an interest in poe after seeing how much ive been enjoying it again despite the rough state of archnem. Im currently a level 84 Ls zerker and I have leveling gear I can give my friend and can spot them currency if needed. Whats a good starter build for a complete beginner with the games current state? I dont wanna back seat them, so something with a guide that's simple that they can follow, would be preferable. Thanks in advance.

    Defence standards?

    What standards do you guys have for defences when you get into red maps or end game bosses?

    Like what amount of Energy shield, Life, Armour, Evasion, Spell Suppression and capped resistances is a given or if I'm missing anything else.

    As I have: 100% Spell Suppression ~20k Armour ~20k Evasion 3.5k life (looking to get to 5k) 110% resistances

    But still find myself dying here and there.

    I see some builds that just face tank nearly everything for example and was wondering how I can get to that point as well.

    Wrist problem low button build

    Currently I'm playing ea ballista totems, but I can't handle too much clicking recently - balista + brand + curse + dash + focus. slowly begins to fee like a piano build.

    Is there something that is not rf that I can make use of for example wanders?

    Currency if I sell my stuff 10ex

    Another noob with an EA Ballista post

    I leaguestarted with EA Ballista late a couple of days ago and I'm barely doing any damage in T14+ maps. It's not just the archnemesis rares / essences that dont die in time or sentinel buffed mobs but for example the Eradicator took like 10+ minutes to kill with some added life and reduced accuracy mod that put me to 97%. That's just insane, even with my shittiest leaguestart builds in the past it did not take more than 1-2 minutes.

    Im obviously doing something wrong. I have like 3ex to spend for upgrades but idk which upgrade path to follow. Polaric Devastation and Large Cluster or farm for Unnatural (this is just outright ridiculous that u need a 10ex item to do dmg). My AS is sitting 2.38 without Onslaught. Do I need to hit 2.5 breakpoint to fix my issue? Any help would be appreciated, I really want to fix this guy since Im enjoying the playstyle a lot.

    What's your bosser build recommandations for this league ?

    Fellow exiles,

    I'm looking to level a dedicated bosser that would only run invitations & pinnacle bosses (even better if it can handle uber uber bosses). I'm playing a VDD Necro, but as of now, I feel like it takes too much time to kill bosses.

    I thought of going either slayer or assassin (they seem like great bossing ascendancies) or even juggernaut (for having damage despite focusing hard on defences), maybe totems chieftain or hierophant ? I heard about boneshatter but it looks like it takes time to ramp up in each encouter, is it that slow to build up ?

    Anyway, my priorities would be tankyness slightly above damage. I don't care about the map clear at all. I'd like to find a balance between tankyness & damage though, as I'm not a fan of 20mn+ boss encounters. Bonus points would be having a high movespeed character (but that's just for fun, not needed at all).

    So what would you recommend ? (anything outside of minions & traps / mine, want to try something else).

    Champion lightning strike help!

    Hi I've been playing for maybe 20 hours now and since omniscience is so expensive this league i wonder what i can upgrade to make it easier to farm it myself. I'm kind of Ok with my tankiness, thinking about getting brass dome maybe.

    But my damage feels lacking, even though i crafted a good claw. I usually have problems understanding how to continue scaling damage i feel :/

    How do you calculate the buff Brandsurge provides to brands in PoB?

    Question in the title. I don't see a way on how you're suppose to calculate the increased frequency it provides when buffing your brands with the skill. It also looks like the duration Witch hunter provides isn't being applied correctly in the calculations. Any help with this would be awesome, thanks!

    CF Champion, kinda squishy?

    Its fairly tanky in some scenarios, but I still get one-shotted ALOT, and was wondering is melding of the flesh jewel mandatory to make me tanky? I followed Poe.Ninja and skipped watching a build guide.

    Arakaali in 3.18, Occ / Necro?

    Hello everyone, as in the title mentioned I want to play arakaali spiders. I saw a friend of mine play it last league, being very tanky with Melding+Brass Dome. He had a squire, so i didnt want to go for his pob and was looking for a guide on youtube / poe ninja and i got some questions regarding that. On youtube i didnt really find anything useful and on ninja, there are only 4 builds using these uniques? I thought it would be more popular or am I missing anything.     Long story short, can someone explain to me, why Necro is an option? Lots of people use Aegis + Brass in that combo. I want a guide for comfy mapping + most likely end game / hopefully uber endgame clear. Thank you all!

    Help with my build please <3

    Started with an ice trapper and ive put quite a bit of currency into it and i love it but i want something new that can do all content and that i can sink my currency into long term.

    My idea is a Scion rain of arrows build going full cold conversion. The idea is to take berserker and raider, raider for easy spell suppression, phasing, onslaught and uptime on frenzies while bossing. Berserker is for rage generation and stun prevention as im going to be running berserk with the build to get more damage and speed.

    The defences of the build are +% max cold resistance on the tree and also on gear through eldritch currency, which i will probably try use a melding of the flesh to put all my max res to the same. The build will have 100% spell suppression aswell as getting life leech with either slayers "life leech is not removed when life is max" through a forbidden flame or using the synthesis gloves. The build will run both evasion and armour with grace, determination and defiance banner.

    The offences of the build are mainly converting all our phys to cold and then stacking lots of flat cold damage through the use of the "adds # to # cold damage per frenzy" which we will acquire on our quiver, through ice bite support and both ring slots through the use of Precursor's Emblem. We can reach a max of 7 frenzy charges through both rings and the tree. This will result in 35 to 59 cold damage per frenzy which is 245 to 413 cold damage added in total.

    The main questions i have are:

    -How do i cut points on my tree and be efficient as i am 12 points over.

    -Should i get slayer through forbidden flesh for the life leech not removed when life is full or use the synthesis gloves and instead get the deadeye forbidden flesh.

    - For the weapon should i use a high phys dmg with high flat cold damage roll?

    If theres anything that you think would be worth while to add to the build to make it better or if youre able to cut points on the tree i would love to hear/see them.

    P.s yes i know omniscience will be better however, 1 i cant afford one and 2 i want to play something a bit different and in the future i may turn it into an omniscience build.

    A heist build that can do maps effectively (and maybe delve)?

    I'm looking to spam some heist for a while. Maybe delve too. When I look at heist builds what I tend to see are MS maximizers who slap defenses on and are close to zdps. I'm hoping to play a build that can comfortably do heist without dying randomly in there but also can run reds effectively without being zdps - but it doesn't need to be a bosser.

    Would like to avoid RF since i did it very recently and RF is very popular/expensive right now I think. Leaning towards some kind of iceshot / tornado shot deadeye/raider (raider very nice for the perma phasing) but not sure how appropriate that would be. I've got about 50 ex sitting around I could pump into this

    Kaom's Heart bossers?

    Just had the fortune to drop a Kaom's Heart full set div cards, and have been looking for a bosser to complement my Boneshatter mapper. My first thought is EA Elementalist, but would the loss of 6 sockets be too sore for the build? And if so, are there any other good bossers that would be happy to use a Kaom's?

    Second character build help

    I just finished my atlas with DD, it works well enough but I don't really like the playstyle. So now I'm looking for a new build to play but I'm unsure what could fit some/most of my criteria. I want it to be able to (most to least important):

    • clear maps relatively fast and kill the map boss
    • be able to take on Pinnacle bosses (Not the Uber versions though)
    • do Ritual and Blight
    • do blighted maps

    My budget is fairly low, I got lucky in the beginning but I'm now sitting on ~4 ex, but I think 10ex should be doable with DD. I don't really like traps and mines, so I'm now thinking about Ele Hit or TS Ranger, but I feel like that might be too expensive for now. I'd appreciate any input on what builds might be good for the content I want to do.

    Need help with skele summoner

    Relatively new player here, decided to follow Von's summoner build as I heard it's rather beginner friendly and easy to play.

    However, I'm unsure why my minions are not dealing damage? or rather they take very long to take down monsters. I've got the Dead Reckoning and when meeting monsters I normally cast summon skele + desecrate + bone offering.

    Would love to have some advise on what I'm doing wrong and what I could improve on, thank you!

    Touch of cruelty interaction

    I'm playing Bane DoT Occultist and I rolled a cluster jewel with Unholy Grace, Unwaveringly Evil and Touch of Cruelty, and I was wondering if there was an easy way to proc Touch of Cruelty consistently, since iirc Bane nor Blight count as "hit". But then again the only thing I'm interested in this notable is the "enemies hindered by you take 10% increased chaos damage", so I thought I just need to find a way to apply "hinder" myself.

    Then I saw the way (I think). There is a curse mastery node which says "enemies you curse are hindered, with 15% reduced movement speed". That's it, right? If this works I think it's one of the best notables on chaos clusters, as it's an almost free 10% more damage taken on cursed enemies, with just that mastery point (which doesn't have much otherwise interesting passives).

    I'm a total noob using PoB. Can someone more experienced make sure this interaction works?
