Yet another reminder on Standard map situation

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 09:55 AM PDT

The entire point of Standard leagues is that we get to keep our stuff and progression, which serves both players that don't have enough time to play in challenge leagues or those that just prefer the steadiness of permanent leagues. The recent shift to Atlas changes every 3 months is severely undermining that, especially for those with limited time.

    Here are the problems:

    1. Map Tabs become unusable until players go through the massive pain of manually relocating every single map they have stored in them.

    2. Converting old maps by 3:1 vendor recipe is the only "quick" way to update map pool to new series, and that obviously leaves us with 3 times as few map items as before.

    3. But if we run them to avoid wasting 2/3 of them, old maps don't count for Atlas objectives, aren't affected by influence and can't be sextanted.

    4. Old maps ruin shaped Atlases by completing all maps up to and including the map tier run. I'd rather have it stay this way than re-do the entire Atlas every league, but players who want to shape their Atlases have to waste a lot of currency on Cartographer's Seals.

    5. Unique map completion is lost, including the hard to get maps such as Perandus Manor and Doryani's Machinarium. This time unique map completion was preserved, but we had no confirmation if it's going to stay this way.

Chris Wilson hinted last month that all of this is eventually going to get fixed, but since then we had no further details or ETA.

Decay rate on T16 maps is ridicilous

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 07:01 AM PDT

I run straight to the correct ending pylon with quicksilver flask and headhunter just to see the fucking pylon is already unreachable. Decay sometimes starts at ending pylons, making the run impossible before even starting. Sometimes the moment you start the run you get swallowed. Sometimes a small blob of void appears right under you out of nowhere, making you instantly fail. Not only that but also maze-like narrow map types: Even on correct path, the path gets swallowed due to the narrow pathing, if you are lucky and on focus you MAY be flame dash over it. Why the fuck would you use these map types as memories? It is fucking ridicilous. I failed 4 memories in a row now, I don't want to play this buggy mess anymore. I thought patch notes said decay rate was tuned.

Cadiro Perandus challenge needs to be changed

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 08:55 AM PDT

That feel when you buy your second perandus manor map and get this shit.

GGG please tell me, what were you thinking with this fucking challenge? The only ways you can find Cadiro Perandus currently: To have Janus Perandus in research / syndicate mastermind room AND Pernadus manor map

Easiest fix for this would be to let perandus scarabs have %chance of spawing Cadiro Perandus or having perndus as a Zana mod.

Do you guys think ggg is going to do anything about this or no?

Nexus is better but crafting is still off-putting

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 03:26 AM PDT

I know how it works (in general) I just dont want to be bothered with it. Sometimes I throw in some random items in synthesiser for funs but thats it. Results are trash of course, they go straight to vendor (who is very close by, smart move there GGG). I've come to terms I will never get anything good from this system because I simply dont want to alt tab every time I find fractured item and scroll down 1500 pages of crafting possibilities. And now there is A LOT of fractured items dropping in nexus. Crafts can be very powerful, Its hard to imagine how they will try to top that in next league. Its becoming quite funny actually. Remember how corrupted implicit was something exotic? Now there are like 2 new layers of mods on top of that on items. Feels like parody sometimes. Anyway the 0.0001% that is using Synthesis for crafting must be really happy about it, I hope they are buying enough packs for GGG make money because I certainly wont be spending another dollar on this game since its clear they dont do it for casual and semi casual players like me. I already have a job, I dont want another one while playing a video game

EXCUSE ME what is this?!? I can't click it.

Crit Chance is capped at 100%, hit's can't be evaded is easily accessible, can Accuracy now also be 100%?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 10:51 AM PDT

It makes sense. Hits cannot be evaded towers over accuracy in comparison for the amount of investment needed. Is it possible that accuracy can finally be capped at 100%?

Killing synthesised monsters should stop/kick back memory decays

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 05:56 AM PDT

The way memory decay behaves now is not good. Players are presented with something they absolultey have no control and that is just frustrating on so many levels..

I just level to act 10 today from act 1 and used Shade of Solaris from level 30 up.

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 08:04 AM PDT

    I played a crit build.

For the whole day I was wondering why sometimes I was doing no damage, blamed it on server issues since I was also occasionally lagging and was used to scourge arrow having hitbox problems at corners and doors. I was playing divine ire and figured that was probably similar.

At level 62 I went to swap in my shaper wand. That's when I realized that Shade of Solaris had "critical strikes deal no damage". I was using it for the extra chaos and forgot about the other mods.

    I hate myself.
