    [Suggestion] Architects should always drop Stone of Passage on death.

    This is a thing which is bugging me since Incursion league. Often the last mob in the incursion drops the stone which is frustrating as hell even more so for slower builds as they have already a hard time to keep the timer alive. 1 stone should always drop from one architect as kind of a reward. IMHO this wouldn't be game breaking stuff just a nice qol feature for everyone

    Trading Improvements from a New Player

    A little about me - although this is my first real PoE season, I feel like I have a semi-decent understanding of the end game. I tend to go 200% when I play a game and am not ashamed to admit I probably put in about 30 hours a week into video games. I love coming up with ideas and solutions for problems I see in life and currently do it for a living. Although I have no experience with video game design at all.

    After getting into the PoE end game, I quickly learned how important trading is in this game. I also quickly learned how much of a burden it currently is to trade. To identify any type of solution, we must first understand the problems. The items below by no means capture all the pain points but I feel they highlight the major ones I have seen.

    Trading Pain as a Seller

    • Seller must stop their current activities in order to trade.
    • Seller might not be in a position where they can leave their current activity. Thus, the Seller could miss out on trades.
    • Seller has to leave the game to perform complex price checking for their item.

    Trading Pain as a Buyer

    • Buyer is at the mercy that a Seller is in a position to trade (whispering 10+ people for a map)
    • A Seller could have multiple items the Buyer wants but the Buyer has no easy way to know the Seller's inventory (can be especially painful for map completion).
    • In most cases, a Buyer must leave the game to find a Seller that has the items they want.

    Solutions

    One of the most common solutions I have seen is implementing an auction house. After the hours I have spent so far, I feel like an auction house is a bad idea and here is why:

    • An auction house isolates players. There is no reason except for a few exceptions for a player to ever interact with another player or even go to another player's hideout.
    • An auction house makes hideouts lose value. Many players like to show off their hideout. Showing off your hideout usually comes from trading with other players.
    • An auction house might make GGG lose income(this is my assumption). Sales of hideout decorations could go down.
    • An auction house promotes bots.
    • An auction house removes a lot of player interaction and communication.

    Below are the solutions I propose to tackle some of the pain points I listed.

    Feature 1: Allow a Player to View and Buy Items Directly from Another Player's Stash

    Acceptance Criteria (AC):

    For the purposes of this AC, the words Buyer and Seller will be used to reference two individual players making a transaction.

    1) If a Buyer is in a Seller's hideout and party, the Buyer can view all of the Seller's public stashes when opening the hideout stash.

    2) The Buyer will see all of their stash tabs along with tabs owned by the Buyer which have been made public.

    3) The Buyer can purchase any item directly from the Seller's public tabs which have a fixed price.

    4) The Buyer will only be able to purchase fixed price items from the Seller's tabs if they have the associated currency amount in their Stash or Inventory.

    5) The Seller must be logged on.

    6) The Seller does not have to be in their hideout for a Buyer to purchase a fixed price item from the stash.

    Risks:

    • Bots are able to sell much more easily.
    • Economy could be negatively impacted. Players are able to make money more easily.
    • End-game could be reached must faster since end-game items become easier to acquire.

    Feature 2: Allow Players to View Items for Sale in Game

    Acceptance Criteria (AC):

    1) Players can view all items in public stashes for sale within a beautiful, easy to use, in-game UI.

    2) Players will have access to a variety of customizable search options.

    3) Players can search for items by player name and see all items for sale for a specific player.

    4) If a player has multiple items with the same affixes, stats, etc.., for the same price, it will show as one search result but with a count indicator indicating how many of that specific item the Seller has (think of white maps with 0 quality).

    5) Players can whisper Sellers directly from the UI.

    Risks:

    • Websites like PoE.trade would become obsolete.

    Please let me know your thoughts! I am sure these features could be vetted out more but wanted to get something on paper before I hop back into the PoE grind.

    TLDR:

    • Allow a Player to View and Buy Items Directly from Another Player's Stash
    • Allow Players to View Items for Sale in Game

    I think i got into the rhythm and enjoying the league quite a lot now. Going past 36 challenges and might do 40 for the first time.

    There are a few things that are wrong, I give you that: cortex mods, spawning cortex, fractured crafting is stupidly complex, nexus amplifiers/global mods are useless, lags especially syndicate.

    But having said that, I'm enjoying my winter orb A LOT. pushing delve deeper than ever, doing nexus bosses and memories. Map drops feel good for once. Getting two good t1 fractured mods let's you chaos spam great gear. I trade less than ever before. I honestly barely sell or buy anything which feels great. Have not crafted any gear for sale which is always a chore. Unique TAB is great! Bought 2 of them! Having almost unlimited storage space after 2 leagues in standard feels so good.

    People are complaining a lot so I thought I'd share some happy thoughts, anyone with me?
