    Expensive Tornado Shot build feels terrible, what am I doing wrong?

    I decided for the first time to join the meta funnel for a bit to make some currency since I don't have much free time at the moment. I had some currency to start from playing my support so I figured it would be a good use of it.

    I built a Tornado Shot Champion because people all over Reddit have been saying that it's the best Monolith clearer and it's really great. Figured I'd give it a go.

    Found a build I liked the look of, and got the gear as follows:

    Bow: Assassin Bow 5L, Level 20 Vicious Projectiles, 338.4 PDPS, 1.41 APS, 8.06% Crit Chance

    Quiver: Shaped Penetrating Arrow Quiver, 1-2 Phys, 66 Life, Extra Arrow, Attack Speed. Could do with multimod for crit + frenzy charge on crit

    Helmet: Life + resists

    Body: Kaom's Heart

    Gloves: 1-2 phys, 11 attack speed, resists, life

    Boots: Move speed, life, tri-res

    Amulet: Dex, Life, Resists

    Rings: Mostly life and resists, one has dex/int and Assassin's Mark

    Belt: Soul Tether

    Notable Jewels: Tempered Flesh (65% crit multi)

    Costed me in total something like 15ex and I'm struggling to even do Monoliths in Glacier. I understand that I'm still missing a couple of bits (last link on bow, helmet enchant), but if this can't even deal with Glaciers very well, will those two things really do all that much? Especially pushing into red maps?

    Keep in mind this is built for HC league, hence being a little higher on the defences, but this was based on Alkaizer's TS Champion which was destroying T16s like they were nothing. I know my gear will likely never be as good as his, but I'm looking for an upgrade path so I can try get a bit closer to this level of damage.

    Looking for league starter build

    I'm a pretty experienced player who hasn't had a chance to keep up with Legion league.

    Any good build guides for starter builds that cruise through leveling and can map decently enough? Not looking to do any crazy endgame, just enjoy leveling and have a build that can scale into maps well.

    Any fast and not glass cannon t16 farmers?

    Already have very tanky and pretty good dps ed managuard that can facetank and kill almost all content (few exiles in hogm are pain), can easily farm t16 with it, cleaning few packs with one contagion+ed, but want something a lot faster (without hh, may be with one inspired). Can spend 40-80ex for build. Not impale ts, pure cyclone or little aoe skills. Any suggestions?

    League Start Bow Build

    Hi y'all,

    So basically I'm looking for a bow build that I can take from the start of league (I'm just starting this league really, I made an ED contagion trickster but only went to act 2 because I don't like the game play much so I have some currency.) I know that bow builds can get expensive to min max, but I just want one that will be easy to level and run maps when I get to that point and can eventually get into all the endgame content. I'm still kinda new so a build that gets explained pretty well would be preferred. Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

    Elemental Hit Wander Ascendant (Inquisitor/Pathfinder)

    Quite a fun build I've knocked together. Probably can be optimised a bit.

    Clears legions great with the chain clear setup. Shaper is easy.Not tried an uber elder yet.

    Few notes

    ​

    • PoB includes shocked, which is a bit of a cheat as it assumes 50%. But we do enough hit damage to shock anything a little, and have shock effect.
    • You can't see, but it's got a Doryani jewel below MoM for the ES buffer to go with soul tether.
    • You will want to take longshot (Just right of point blank) if you are mainly legion farming. The proj speed makes it a little smoother. Maybe drop point blank if exclusively doing that.
    • Wander allows for shield charge+fortify which is a bonus vs bows. Shield charge is a little clunky though
    • Wands are cheap though. Even a good corruption (ele pen would be better for bossing) piscator is cheap now. Not a lot we can do to upgrade from a piscator, an ideal fire damage, ele pen, double damage + attack speed imbued would be, but horribly expensive to craft.
    • Ascendancy options are pretty flexible. Elementalist gives guaranteed shock, and allows running ele reflect. Chieftain is good damage with the fire damage and covered in ash. Raider is a solid option too. Pathfinder is just nice for flask uptime. Inquisitor is mostly so we can path from templar, but gives some decent damage and QoL.
    • We get very little crit multi, which is why I had to put crit multi jewels everywhere. Which means no might of the meek setup. If you hit level97+, it becomes worth doing I think.
    • Gifts from above is a bit memey, but is solid damage, comparable to taming but a lot cheaper. A decent flammability on hit ring would be a good/better option.
    • Tombfists aren't amazing for the build, we get a lot of increased damage taken anyway so intimidate isn't that valuable. A decent rare would probably beat it, I hit the crit chance corrupt trying for ele weakness on hit.
    • I normally run a Rumi's over the quicksilver for t15+ content.

    How much aoe for vaal ice nova

    What aoe radius have you all be trying to get to full clear legion pylons? Or what radius do you feel like you clear most mobs on the edge?

    Running eternity shroud winter orb with a seudo 6 link helm for vaal ice nova and legions pylons. AT moment i can blow up a t16 pylon, but im giving up alot of defense in both my helmet and on the tree for aoe. I got a +2 winter orb shaped helm but the chance to hit 20 aoe and 20 hypothermia like i have on my current helment is not a crafting process that sounds fun.

    Which spells to use on a deadeye bow coc build?

    I initially wanted to follow mathils build but magma orb ( or fire skills in general ) are not really my jam. What would be some other skills that complement the ice spear and chain playstyle?

    Camerias Maul Ice Crash

    I found 2 Camerias maul and wanted to stick them in a build together for the rarity on frozen enemies.

    I chose an Ice Crash bezerker but I'm not feeling very strong or synergistic.

    Most of the Icecrash bezerkers on poe.ninja were running swords which is fine and I could afford to craft or buy ahns might and dual wield
