POE Divination Card Farming Spreadsheet with updating prices

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 06:31 AM PDT

    Spreadsheet is here

I made a spreadsheet with all the maps and the divination cards that drop within each one, as well as the prices of these cards. The prices are updated every 30 minutes with the help of the poe.watch api and a bit of google script stuff. Any suggestions to improve the spreadsheet are appreciated, as I'm not the best player nor the best "spreadsheeter"!

    I really want Legacy 2.0....

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 06:19 AM PDT

Shoot me, I really liked Legacy and it's ideas! Sure, Leaguestones were a hassle, but they also gave us three different juiced up leagues in one map at a time! Some of the alternative effects on the Leaguestones were super cool like: " Items dropped by Rogue Exiles in next Area will be Corrupted" or: " (30-50)% increased frequency of Tempest effects in next Area". Of course, in a 2.0 scenario things can be adjusted and made better, but the core ideals of Legacy were in my honest opinion... FUN. I could make choices on what Leaguestones to use, since almost all of them (when they are Magic) were useful and interesting! Relics were also really fun, but GGG could make the Reliquary keys a bit more common. Just a little bit...

The only thing that GGG would have to adjust would be the Leaguestone menu! I have an idea on how to make it better: what about if the menu had checklists of all the leagues so far and you could choose three different leagues, and it would make it so that the corresponding Leaguestone would automatically be placed in the menu after the 1-3 charges are used on a Leaguestone? You would have to keep the Leaguestones you want to automatically be placed to be in your inventory of course, but this would make it much less of a hassle and you could have freedom in choosing what leagues to specialize in! And would Rare Leaguestones be too OP, or even some Unique ones? So, what do you guys think?

[PSA AGAIN] Some Veiled Mods Are Drop-Restricted (Member-Specific)

    Posted: 17 Jul 2019 10:26 PM PDT

TL;DR You need to farm specific mod from specific item base, from specific Syndicate member, and they are heavily gated behind insane layers of RNG.

Here's a list of syndicate member-specific mods. To get these mods, you need to:

    1. Have Betrayal rolled on your map (by Daily Objective, Prophecy, Sextant Mod, or Random rolls)
    2. Have the specific Syndicate Member show up in your encounter (eg. Vagan needs to pop out and bend your rear for "Hits cannot be evaded". If you removed him, that's a 0% chance.)
    3. Have the Syndicate Member drop a veiled item (Not 100% drop except chosen "Drop an extra veiled item" Bargain option)
    4. The dropped veiled item must be of correct base (Melee Weapons if "Hits cannot be evaded")
    5. The dropped veiled item must contain the corresponding prefix/suffix (Vagan can drop a melee weapon item with "Veiled" prefix, "of the Veil" suffix, OR "Vagan's Veiled" prefix. Only "Vagan's Veiled" will be able to give "Hits cannot be evaded")
    6. Have the specific mod rolled as one of the 3 options when unveiled (There is still a chance where "Hits cannot be evaded" does not show up when you unveil a "Vagan's Veiled" modded melee weapon).
    7. Have this process repeat for multiple times until your unveil bar reaches 100%, and then you can get to craft it. (aka either buy a bunch of Vagan's Veiled or you take the risk getting scammed for 3ex buying crafting service for the Vagan mod)

    Notes:

    • During Synthesis League, there was a "bug", where normal "Veiled" and "of the Veil" items can also give member-specific mods. Some people praised and thought this was a buff. The "bug" was patched later.
    • Currently the listed mods are not showing up separately as special mods in Neversink's Filter. Either you can add them to your own filter codes (because apparently mods like "Vagan's Veiled" "Elreon's Veiled" can sell for 20c+) or you can wait until u/NeverSinkDev makes an update on this. Or you can hold Alt and check for advanced mod description, that works too.
    • You can search for specific mods on trade sites using the names below.
Prefix/Suffix Item Base Max Ranked Mod
of Aisling's Veil ring (14–16)% increased Chaos Damage; (14–16)% increased Global Physical Damage
of Cameria's Veil ring +(21–23)% to Critical Strike Multiplier if you've Shattered an Enemy Recently; (14–16)% increased Global Critical Strike Chance
Elreon's Veiled ring (-9–-8) to Total Mana Cost of Skills
Gravicius' Veiled body armour Gain 10% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield
Guff's Veiled gloves (24–28)% increased Damage during any Flask Effect
Haku's Veiled weapon, shield +(7–8)% to Quality of Socketed Gems
of Hillock's Veil body armour 6% increased Attributes
It That Fled's Veiled weapon Gain X% of Y damage as extra chaos damage
of Janus' Veil helmet (41–45)% increased Rarity of Items Dropped by Slain Rare or Unique Enemies
of Jorgin's Veil amulet 10% Chance to Trigger Level 18 Summon Spectral Wolf on Kill
Korell's Veiled helmet (7–8)% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Fire Damage
Leo's Veiled ring, belt (17–20)% increased Damage
Riker's Veiled ring (14–16)% increased Fire Damage; (14–16)% increased Lightning Damage
Rin's Veiled boots Cannot be Frozen
Tora's Veiled weapon Adds (14–16) to (17–20) Physical Damage; 40% chance to cause Bleeding on Hit --or-- Adds (9–11) to (12–14) Physical Damage; 40% chance to cause Bleeding on Hit
Vagan's Veiled melee weapon Hits can't be evaded
Vorici's Veiled gloves, amulet (37–43)% increased Damage while Leeching

    Poe Trade Enhancer

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 06:22 AM PDT

Poe Trade Enhancer is a UserScript that enhances poe.trade user experience.

    Poe Trade Enhancer on GitHub

After installing it you will have a save manager that will let you easily save and load your item searches.

You will also have the Chaos Orb equivalent of any price based on current poe.ninja values, values refreshed every few hours. Obviously you can sort result based on that value. Both on item result and currency searches.

On every item result you'll have a button to copy to clipboard the item mods in a format ready to be imported in Path of Building.

On any gem result you'll have a value representing the total cost needed to buy the gem at that price and buy the gemcutters needed to get it to max quality, and you can also sort by that value.

Similar to gems you'll find a max tier cost value for tiered items like sextants and essences.

There are other minor features, but basically it's only first version... I got a lot more ideas that I'd like to develop. If you want to vote one or add your own ideas visit this tricider

For those who are new to UserScript, don't let it stop you. It's pretty simple. UserScripts are javascript code that a Script Manager will execute only on the predefined web sites. You will need to install this Script Manager, that is just an extension for your browser (I strongly reccomend Tampermonkey), then you'll be able to install Poe Trade Enhancer just by visiting one theese links: GitHub install - GreasyFork install - OpenUserJS install

Then you'll just need to visit poe.trade and start using it. If you wish to change any setting or disable any feature, just click on the PTE button at top left of the page.

Please give it a try and if you find it useful spread the word to your friend (and maybe help them installing it if they are new to UserScripts).

    Any comment is really appreciated

These latency problems are driving me insane

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 10:07 AM PDT

Like many others on this subreddit, i've been having latency problems ever since this league launched. I've been playing since 2013 and never had any problems with poe. Even at the end of the synthesis league, everything worked perfectly fine.

U would think this might be a thing cause the servers are overloaded cause of the huge playerload that's coming in at the start of every league, but 1 month into the league and things haven't improved at all for me, playing on the Amsterdam realm. Switching realms doesn't improve anything, i tried Paris, London, Frankfurt and Milan servers.

So i downloaded WINMTR, like many of u suggested, and ran the program. Yesterday it showed me a packetloss of 44%, today it showed me a packetloss of 97%?? I mailed support about this, and they blamed the node that showed packetloss, and told me to contact my isp about this, since it's clearly not their fault. Others tell me that that one node is simply ignoring pings in favour of higher priority traffic, and is perfectly normal?

I'm lost, and i dont understand why poe is the only game that i ever had latency problems in, I've played mmorpg's like Guild wars 2, Blade and Soul, Cabal and Black Desert without any lag, on this same isp i've had for years.

I've tried testing my connection to big sites like google and youtube, and WINMTR also shows a packetloss of 98-100%. Either my isp is total crap, and i never noticed this, or something is going on at GGG's side of the servers? Is there something else i can do to test my connection?

I love poe, been playing for years, but as i said before, this latency started this league. Lockstep gives me screen stutters/freezes, while predictive gives me rubberbanding almost every map. The game is becoming unplayable for me, and it's SO frustrating to not being able to pinpoint the problem.

    PC Build for PoE

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 07:42 AM PDT

I am looking to start piecing together a new PC soon(ish) and I was hoping I could get some input from those of you that have had good (or bad) experience with current gen components. I know that PoE has it's own unique performance bottlenecks that are mostly not PC related for many users, but I want to be sure that my computer isn't a hindrance at all.

Keep in mind that PoE is the ONLY game I play at this time, and other than general use, the PC wont do too much else for the foreseeable future, so PoE is the primary focus of the machine for all intents and purposes.

CPU and GPU options I am considering are below, once those have been chosen, the rest of the stuff will fall into place.

    CPU:

    • AMD R9 3900X
    • Intel i9 9900K
    • AMD R7 3700X

    GPU:

    • AMD RX 5700XT
    • RTX 2070 Super

As I mentioned, as far as the rest of it goes, it will pretty much fall into place but it will generally look something like this:

    • Water cooling
    • 16GB of fastest speed RAM
    • High end MoBo for chipset
    • at least 1TB SSD
    • Not sure about monitors yet. I currently have 2 x 1080p running on HDMI, but I am thinking of moving up to 2 x 1440 running on Display Port

I am fairly certain that any of the above options are going to be overkill for PoE, but a level of "future proofing" is nice as well. Regardless, input is welcome.

    Edit:

Because of my lack of knowledge, I seem to have just gravitated towards top of the line CPU/GPU giving me even more overkill in power than I thought. Ultimately, I want the entire rig to cost as close to $1500 as possible, hard cap at $2000 (please note this includes all components and potentially 2 x 1440p monitors). So value is still a factor, I would just rather pay a little more up front for long term value as opposed to saving $200-300 now and needing to replace stuff far sooner. Hopefully that helps with suggestions.

    New Skill Enchantments

3.7.0 won't initially include enchantments for the new skills. We're planning to release them shortly after, once we've had time to develop interesting and worthwhile enchantments that improve on their most interesting aspects.
