    I'm playing in SSF this league and I've found an interesting build idea made by /u/thatsournewbandname. Basicly like the Mathil's build it uses 4-5 golems with Elementalist and stacking their buffs. Instead of using Voidforge, which I'll probably not get in SSF, we're going with Doomfletch Prism for similar effect - adding 1 ele dmg of each kind for each phys dmg we have.

    Gear wise it's pretty accessible to SSF - I've managed to get a couple of Doomfletch bows, and I've got the prophecy by farming up Vile Power cards in Toxic Sewer (wiki lists them as only dropping in Core only and wiki is wrong in this instance!). Lioneye jewel is also easily farmable in softcore, just by killing Dishonoured Queen in a6 and dying over and over again. Dying part is there so you don't over level, which leads to drops in quantity. It took me around 5h on different characters to get it.

    As I'm in SSF I've got a couple projects I'm working on:

    Shroud of the Lightless - I've been farming maps with the Abyss Zana mod in hopes of getting a Shroud to drop. But I've recently run this through PoB and it seems that going 5l + Ele pen, which remarkably in the case of this build supports all of elements, is still seems to be worse than:

    Loreweave - yup, the ele dmg + crit chance + flat phys and being able to still have a 6l is sadly(?) better than the mentioned Shroud. I'm currently spending some of my time doing low depth delves and hunting for the Hidden Treasure nodes, which in my experience have a quite nice chance to drop unique rings. I'm currently about 50-70% done with rings, so I guess I'll be switching to that in a couple days.

    Medium rolled Loreweave (the default one in PoB) would boost my dps by a nice 15%. My life would drop about 7% though, which is a bit worrying. On the upside I would also get increased max res, so I hope it balances out (even though it currently can 'only' be 78%).

    Oh and I've managed to 6l my bow, so I don't have to worry too much about changing armour.

    Oskarm - I was kinda astounded when I've changed Tombfists to Oskarm in PoB. It's 19% dps upgrade, even when I count losing the Intimidate from the abyss jewel. And then I've remembered that I'm currently not using any curse, so the Assassin's Mark will give me a good source of Power Charges. So in turn this ends up on being a 26% dps upgrade.

    This comes with one sidenote. I suck at crafting everything, and my Murderous Eye jewel is no exception, sadly. So here is still some room for improvement, but I'm doubtful it'd catch up to the mentioned 26% dps I'd get from Oskarm.

    The big issue is I have no guarantee I'll get an Oskarm. It is a fairly common drop (I got 3 in the first week of Blight, before I've switched to SSF) and I've even started chancing them, but still RNG is RNG.

    The Anima Stone - I've been farming the primordial jewels div card but they're not dropping a whole lot. So far I've managed to get 2 copies of the same jewel, so it sucks a bit, but I'll get there. Being able to use the Lightning Golem as the 5th would also boost dmg granted by Elementalist ascendancy and overall I'd get around 20% dps, if my math is correct

    NOTE:

    PoB currently does not count the buff stacking increase from multiple golems & Elementalist ascendancies, so I've added a modified gem from Mathil's build into PoB, just to get math right. And I've double checked it's okay - ingame I'm hit capped with my low level Precision & Ice Golem's accuracy buff, in PoB without the gem I am not. Adding the gem fixed things.

    My concerns:

    I feel a bit squishy. I might actually not be, with 4,9k hp, 41% evade chance, 74/75 attack & spell dodge and 19% phys dmg reduction. But I still am kinda hesitant about running t15-t16 maps. I know dropping Belly for Loreweave will dip my HP a bit, but I still feel that's the right direction.

    I'm still not 100% used to the channeling nature of Scourge Arrow. Every other boss fight I catch myself releasing at 1-3 stacks instead waiting a full duration, just because I panic a bit. My idea is that maybe more attack speed could help counter that.

    Sin's Rebirth is there just because I didn't have anything better to use. It gives a bit of offense and defense: 3% dps and 6% evade chance. And since having golems up makes us immune to elemental ailments I don't have to carry a chill/freeze flask.

    Somehow I've managed to balance my resistances so I'm currently enjoying a buff to all ele damage from my Wise Oak. I feel this will change in the near future, but any gear swaps will have to take into account about 5% dps loss.

    I'm also thinking about dropping Atziri's Step if I get an Oskarm - I'd be at 72% spell dodge and I think that the 3% left does not justify getting nearly nothing else from this slot. I was thinking about getting Brinerot Whalers instead, since it boosts both phys and proj damage, but it currently would mess up my resists and I'd lose triple buff from Wise Oak - but even that would happen to be a dps increase, although small. But if I change my gear in the future I'll be more inclined to go this way.

    While I don't have Brinerot Whalers atm, iirc Warbands is a cheap Zana mod this league, so getting them is possible.

    I've also experimented with switching a bit of my points from left to the right side, especially some Templar nodes look promising. But each try ended with dps and/or hp loss.

    Sometimes golems die. I've experimented with increased life support, convocation and I've finally decided to use Meat Shield support. Not only golems take less damage, they stick to me & don't get smacked as much, they also can taunt on hit if something manages to get close somehow. My only issue with this is I've got currently 4 golems linked to it, when I'll finally get the Anima Stone I'll either have one squishy golem, or I'll have to work on getting a 2nd 6l.

    Mathil's build had invested 2 points into minion regen, which he says fixed this issue. Sadly since I went for the bow nodes minion regen node is out of my reach, as of now.

    Oh, I didn't check shock/ignite/chill in PoB, beacause I've seen ppl getting scolded for that, but this build does this a lot. I'm able to get map bosses frozen reliably every other map. Is fun.

    OP's build had an Abyssus in it, and while I've managed to acquire one, I feel the dps boost does not justify making myself squishy.

    I'm also considering dropping the Alira's reward for 2 passive points, but atm I'd lose the res cap (not counting the wise oak), so I'm still kinda hesitant. But on the other hand I'd be only 2% all res down from the cap; I could also spent 1 passive to get the node on the right of Resourcefulness, which would give me 4% all res (among other things). This is only a concern while I can/want to keep the res balanced for Wise Oak.

    Any ideas how/what can I improve, while taking the SSF aspect into consideration are very welcome.

    Also if you'd like to try I can't praise this build enough. Currently I'm doing mostly t10-13 (I'm farming some div cards so my atlas is a bit empty in a some tiers). I did some t15 and it was still fine, it'll probably get to awesome when I'll get 100% accustomed to Scourge Arrow playstyle.

    A while ago, i made a post detailing my homemade plan for a trickster build that relied on energy shield to survive. After messing with the tree a bit more, and looking at feedback, the passive tree is now this. The spells i am using are Viper Strike (poison and withering touch) and Venom Gyre (fork and multiple proj.), as well as blight, vaal blight, contagion, and whirling blades. Trash mobs will be dealt with by a combination of gyres and their combo with whirling blades, since i can get up to 10 gyres per cast. Viper Strike is for bulky, punishable enemies. Feedback?

    Attack damage leech question

    Starter build tips for late starter

    Hello everyone! Im looking for a build as I'm jumping into this league a bit late and wondering what are some of the best builds to go for. Never done a summoner build and that seems super strong this league. Other then that I usually enjoy melee builds over caster. Have played sense betrayal and killed shaper last league. Would like to try to get a chance to at least fight Uber this league, ofc depends on how I feel about the league and the time I got. But at least something that can handle shaper otherwise. Thanks for any tips on builds!

    Hi guys, i was thinking about rolling a selfcast Chieftain Fireball using Blood Magic, Inner Conviction and Supreme Ego, in order to have a giga aura and an Herald socketed in an Essence worm (probably the second ring will be a Circle of Guilt for buff effect). Do you think it could be worth it? I'd like to play crit so i was thinking about dual wielding Void Batteries and using a Badge of the Brotherood with a Farrul, but i don't really know if i'll just wasting moneys bc it would perfom better on an other ascendancy. Problem is that i'd really like to play a Chieftain for once, do you have any advice?
