    (3.8) Best Trickster Bane+CWC Soulrend w/ 1.6M Shaper DPS & Tankiness!

    Another build from me with a Trickster character! I'm done with the 10M DPS SA if you remember me, now I moved to another chaos build Bane/Soulrend. This was supposed to be a Death's Oath CWC Soulrend but because DO was bugged, I ditched the build and started crafting my own, hence the 6L Bane replacing DO lol.

    Mechanics:

    - 6L Bane + 2 curses for mapping

    - 6L CWC Soulrend for bosses / very tanky rares

    - Cane of Unravelling BiS (very cheap)

    - ^Why? The +2 to ALL Chaos Gems BOOSTS Bane, Soulrend, Vaal Blight, and Despair! Giving us a huge boost in DPS.

    - We utilize Doryani jewel for that additional ES

    - Clear Mind for that additional spell damage boost

    - Apply Bane on the boss, dodge a little, use CWC Soulrend, apply Bane again when it expires aaaand that's it. Repeat.

    Difficulty of the playstyle should be fairly easy!

    Pros:

    - Blight CWC Soulrend is actually pretty neat and smooth compared to casting 6L Soulrend per se.

    - CWC automatically gives us max power and frenzy charges from Swift Killer

    - CWC boosts the overall impact of Soulrend by adding wither stacks to the enemies while hindering them also (Spreading Rot)

    - Very safe playstyle, enemies are hindered with Blight and slowed additionally with Temp Chains

    - TANKY!!! 6k Life, 2.2k ES, 1.9k Mana (MoM), 48% phys redux, 38% attack block, 12% attack dodge, 8% spell block, 14% evade

    - So much sustain because of Weave the Arcane and Patient Reaper

    - Very decent single target damage 1.6M Shaper DPS, GOT UBER ELDER DOWN and DEATHLESS!

    - Full effect of MoM, 1 aura only needed! Malevolence on Essence Worm is all you need.

    - 6L Bane on mapping is actually pretty good and smooth.

    Cons:

    - No explosions from Profane Bloom (Occultist)

    - Some very tanky rares won't get exploded on the first application of Bane

    - You can die from stun locks if you're not very careful. Hence I put in Withering Step so you could easily get out of a pinch.

    Detonate Dead

    Im just confused on how this works, this wiki states:

    Secondary damage: Detonate Dead's explosion deals secondary damage, hence it cannot be affected by stats affecting spell damage, including ones such as x% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells. However the corpse explosion component of the spell will receive bonuses from elemental, area, and fire related stats.

    So, the "corpse explosion" ie the part that deals the 6% will benefit from elemental, area, and fire?

    And the seperate "flat fire damage" will benefit from crit and crit multi?

    Any optimized Divine Ire totem build out there?

    I've watched Mathil's version but I kinda think that it was not tanky enough especially with the 4.5k life even with the EB MoM combo. I wanted to follow CatMasterOP's build but it was on HCSSF meaning that it won't be fully optimized for SC. Any suggestions? Or do you have an optimized ire totem build I could use?

    Question about a build. How is 3 golems possible?

    Fireball without ignite

    Is there any sense to use fireball without ignite? I'm playing with fireball, but I'm not using crit or ignite as my main damage source. Can someone check my build and tell me how to make my fireball skill better?

    really enjoying my funky self-cast + minion fire-themed necro build.. curious how I can min-max it better

    I'm having a blast with my somewhat funky fire-themed necro.. she's inspired by the cwdt+scold's bridle+incinerate build that was posted early in the league, but she still pushes the boundaries of a traditional omni-summoner as well, with zombies, skellies, a guardian, carrion golem, and some tukohama vanguards.

    The idea is to try to push the boundaries of fire penetration / resistance reduction in every way possible.. then all my and my minions' damage is focused on fire dmg as much as possible

    • the spectres' totems' scorching rays reduce fire res
    • elemental army with the 3R1B triad grip mean my zombies are reducing fire res when they hit
    • combustion on incinerate lowers it further
    • flammability on hit ring as well

    Things I'm considering and could use help understanding if they'd actually be improvements or not (you can imagine trying to calculate a total DPS for a build like this is pretty much impossible):

    • adding wave of conviction in my CwC setup (replacing immolate)
    • replacing VD with a wave of conviction in my CwC setup
    • replacing immolate with fire pen
    • trying to figure out how to make the gloves be 4R for better efficiency of always doing fire dmg (putting animate guardian is the obvious answer but then my skellies would be far, far weaker - but maybe that's still worth it?? I honestly don't know how to calculate that, haha)
    • switch to winter orb for the CwC skill and use EE (I've already tried this and it seems pretty similar overall but incinerate definitely does more damage on its own with matching gems as VD)
    • tree changes to get a different balance or just higher amounts of life/es/mana
    • flasks !?

    The build doesn't really 'need' anything at all at the moment - it feels incredibly OP with ~8500 EHP, MoM and all the mana and ES regeneration of essence glutton, not to mention the strong spell leech. The charging offensive annointment on my amulet was the most expensive investment so far but has proven really, really strong since I'm always 'getting hit' while channeling, I've always got the 4 end charges and 3 frenzies. This works great with the chest piece I've chosen to help even more with the clear speed (which didn't really need any help anyway) and survivability.

    I guess the main question is whether anyone else is doing something very similar or not, and if so, what differences they may have chosen and how it's working out for them. Thanks for looking!

    Trying to get shaper ready. Need some help

    Ok the character we are looking at is Blighted_Rains. He is a Toxic Rain Trickster. Not having a hard time and I am currently in Red maps.

    I am wanting to get ready to take down Shaper. I have 4ex and 90c in currency right now and wondering what I should start replacing.

    Things I know I need are 1. Better Jewels 2.a bow with 20 vicious projectiles. (Out of my price range atm but trying to craft one) 3. Maloney's (again out of my price range) 4. Better amulet I messed up the anoint

    Sabouter Toxic Rain CI build, need improvements
