    Tornado shot/bow build in ssf?

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 04:35 PM PDT

Hey! I wanna make a TS (or other bow skill for that matter) in SSF and I was wondering what would be the most reliable and easier to get up/get to endgame.

I have some gear saved already but let's assume no gear at all.

TS deadeye? Raider? Champion? Ele hit fire? Light? Cold? Lightning arrow/ice shot?

I can easily farm a 6L imperial bow with the div cards, I already have an inpulsa 6L and 2 other 6L str bases, I'm looking mostly into farming maps up to T16, bosses can be done with my other char so it's mostly about fast mapping.

I also have cold and fire combat focus, not lightning yet sadly otherwise ele hit fire is the easy pick (I do have yolk of suffering tho)

Any idea is welcomed! Thanks a lot!

edit: the idea is eventually get rigwalds quill/farrul's fur because i'm farming elder lairs right now, so that's my endgame upgrades

Deadeye voidfletcher VS Champion TS (HH)

    Posted: 21 Sep 2019 03:49 AM PDT

    Hi,

I'm wondering if any of you has played these 2 builds, and can recommend one of them, or give pros and cons. Especially, is there one that'd work best with a HH? I guess the deadeye would move faster obviously, but the voidfletcher dmg would scale less than the champion one? Champion would be more tanky (but does it matter with HH buffs?)

    3.8 CoC Assassin

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 08:30 AM PDT

I played this build briefly in 3.5 or 3.6 (whenever CoC got buffed) and felt really squishy as assassin even with quite a bit of investment. Since then assassin and the shadow area of the tree has changed quite a bit. Does anyone have experience with this build end game? How much investment am I looking at to farm t16/UElder?

Any recommendations for gearing? Loreweave was the go to for defenses back when I played it last along with pandemonius. Is lycosidae still necessary with precision and accuracy on tree?

    Thanks in advance

Edit: assume this build is being built around cospri's unless I am missing something new and big. Also I am fully aware of how to use poe ninja to look up builds but unless you study each build its hard to tell if something is built for low tier speed or end game. I enjoy anecdotal advice.

    Lf delve boss killer

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 11:26 AM PDT

    Hey guys :D

Well we have Aul challenge this league so I decided to sell em. I have jugg that can clear deep delve (700depth atm no trouble so far) so I'm looking for boss killer so I can sell Auls ;) my jugg is fine solo but in party... Takes way to long to kill bosses.

    Some info:

-No mines/traps/minions I don't really feel comfortable on them

    -cost doesn't matter for me

-1k+ Aul viable as 6m party

Any ideas? Was considering poison blade vortex but I'm not sure if it scales that good, was able to get 7m DPS on it on paper not sure if it would work in practice :D

    Waiting for Your ideas

Most Popular POE 3.8 Arc Hierophant Build Guide

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 06:44 PM PDT

Havent played minion builds since 3.0 need advice.

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 06:54 AM PDT

As the title states i've become quite unfamiliar with the minion stuff since i last used to play. So if i were to make my usual solar guard spectres build would i no longer need to raise the 58ilvl ones in a8?

    Speedy decay?

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 09:08 AM PDT

I was reminiscing of this build and was trying to see what was available these days for decay.

Are there any decay build guides more recent? The only other one I saw was from 2+ years ago.

    https://pastebin.com/cM3pturS

I came up with this, but it seems like the damage is abysmal. Are there any better ways to scale the decay damage that I can't think of?

    Elementalist frostblades

    Posted: 20 Sep 2019 04:51 AM PDT

Hi guys, this build is feeling pretty good right now that I've just picked up my uber lab points. This is where I'm currently at : https://pastebin.com/BpVmgZuK Don't pay much attention to how crap my current gear is (helmet especially). I've just started the league and have been focusing on atlas pushing more than gear acquisition today.

Between life, cold damage, elemental damage, crit chance/multi, sword damage, possibly minion nodes (especially life), evasion and more I'm a bit lost as to where I should be moving on the tree now. All the ranger, berserkers and assassins playing frost blades rush down into the duelist area. But it's so far for the witch start. Do you think it's worth going down there? Or more to Templar?

I haven't looked into annointing at all yet. Do any reasonably cheap passives on amulets stand out in your opinion for a build like this? Do additions to melee range make much of an effect on frost blades gameplay?

I'm also playing around a bit in deciding a final 6 link: Frost blades

    EDWA

    Hypothermia

    Ancestral Call

Multistrike +/- doesn't feel to big of a difference with or without at the moment

Chain / Added Cold for swap on bosses maybe

Others are using Rage, Nightblade, Maim, Ruthless, Ice bite, Melee phys, Fortify

Let me know if you think any of that sounds crappy.

    Thanks.
