    Map corruptions should have a chance to add a league mechanic as an implicit modifier.

    I love the idea of corrupted maps having a potential implicit added that would inject a leagues mechanics onto that map. A chance to add harbingers, abyss or the current masters would add a lot of fun without pushing things in an unbalanced way.

    What's your opinion on adding the chance for implicits on maps?

    Daily Master Missions in 3.8.0

    As you know, unused daily master missions in 3.8.0 can stack indefinitely during the league. Alongside this change, we reduced the number you get to two per day, because prior to 3.8.0, most players ended up not running every daily mission they received every day, and so many were wasted.

    We were trying to make it so that the number of missions was the same as before for most players. We didn't see this as an intentional nerf because the system is now so much more permissive than before.

    Either way, feedback on Reddit about this change was negative and we didn't feel strongly about it, so are changing it based on this feedback. When you log in each day, you will now receive a daily mission for each of the five masters.

    Dungeons and Dragons 5e in PoE Act 1: Player progress report #1

    My exiles are a party of a Loxodon Druid, Drow Warlock, Tiefling Sorcerer, Halfling Rogue

    • None of them have ever played PoE or know what its about at all.
    • Killed Hillock, they didn't care about the Oni-Garoshi sticking out of his chest... I failed to realize none of them can use a giant sword.
    • They were complete dicks to Tarkleigh, making fun of him for staying in such a shit hole.
    • Bestel is a Tabaxi cause I thought it would be fun. Party helped him get his medicine chest while getting chased by cannibals on tidal island. The medicine chest contained the best medicine, rum....and some health potions. I prepped some entertaining poems for Bestel to recite.
    • Navali is an albino Lizardfolk, she was very helpful in lore-dumping what kinda happened on Wraeclast so long ago and hooked them up with some rare magic items. They really liked how mysterious she was.
    • Made it to the Fetid Pool to kill Kadavrus the Defiler...they kinda failed. Druid managed to charm him, getting him to explain the Rumor of Brutus/shavronne, and what magics were used to create him...basically more lore.
    • They were planning to nuke him while he was charmed but the warlock had a hair trigger and Eldritch blasted at him but missed him completely. Soon Kadavarus escaped the fetid pool leaving the skeletons to take care of the party. 3/4 went down but they cleared it. They'll be meeting Kadavrus again at the prison.

    If you have any PoE ideas/antics that would be fun in Dungeons and Dragons I'd like to hear it!

    End of league meta - mini analysis

    Last week someone requested to have extended build stats because poe.ninja is only displaying ladder characters (top 15000).

    Using the Trade API & the official web site, I created a little tool (slow tool :p) that is scrapping the trade API to get active account & character name (so it's only scrapping data from people that were online. Then It's requesting the items & character info from the official web site (same way path of building is doing it).

    only trade league are accessible this way, so here's the firsts results for LEGION :

    1681 character parsed / 33135 items (It's a subset of all the active charachter, my process is slow ^^ and yeah it's a LOT less than poe.ninja, i've to up my game ^^)

    most character in one level : lvl 93 / 164number of active level 100 : 57"only" 10% of the active character play with a HeadHunter (vs 33% in poe.ninja)

    top 3 Skill used :

    1. 50.5% cyclone (duh)
    2. 19% tornado shot
    3. 12% essence drain

    top 3 ascendancy :

    1. 26.8% Slayer
    2. 12.6% Trickter
    3. 12.4% Deadeye

    Animate Weapon - Identity versus playability

    I'll try to keep this short. In the recent Baeclast episode Octavian asked GGG Jonathan and Neon if they had any plans regarding changes to Animate Weapon (AW) and they denied. I want your feedback and ideas in order to get talking about AW.

    Animate Weapon is a very thematic skill, but as PoE evolved, many places are now completely devoid of weapons, be it either because there are no monsters, the monsters drop no loot or drop it later. I really like the concept of giving life to a tool, which is why I'd like the skill to be "revived".

    First off, do we change the skill to fit the game, or do we adjust the game to fit the skill? If we change the skill we run the risk of sacrificing a portion of it's identity for ease of use. If we make weapon bases rain from the sky, this may carry implications beyond our scope. This is why an enabler, like desecrate, could be problematic for AW. If Desecrate spawned "weapon corpses", which sole purpose is to be animated by the caster then AW becomes Summon Raging Spirits v2. Adding weapon drops all over the games past and future content is an infeasible band-aid-solution.

    The skill needs to change. What I would like to keep and build upon is the ability to chose your weapon. To promote this aspect of the skill, the weapons would need to be persistent. It would require for the skill to work much like specters, i.e. the weapons would have no duration attached to them and travel with you between instances. One step further, the weapons could be made indestructible, which would open up a big spectrum of builds using weapons that are hard to obtain, unique or even hand-crafted. This idea, however, may eliminate the original playstyle of having a big following of random weapons, due to balance.

    What do you think about that? What are your ideas?

    soul of solaris is completely useless in the vast majority of boss fights because ad mobs , the one place this node is meant to succeed but it never actually does so can we please get
