| Posted: 21 Jan 2020 04:47 AM PST Hi all, I am eyeing starting a lacerate bleed gladiator build focusing on the 1H/shield combo. I've taken a build from one of the guys on the poe ninja ladder and tweaked it a bit. I've reallocated a few int and 1 jewel node away to get to the fortify cluster thinking it'll help with the defense. I'm also confused which gem to use as well - is deadly ailments better or ruthless for the last link? The tweaked version is below and wonder what everyones thoughts are on it. I know the resists aren't maxed but will obviously do it when I build the character itself. It's my first time playing a bleed (or physical build in general) so there probably will be some glaring holes in it so don't hesitate to rip it to shreds. | Posted: 21 Jan 2020 02:37 AM PST Between perfect agony, dire torment and searing heat as well as my longstanding love of thicc juicy crits I feel the time is right for my dreams and I'm determined to do a crit based ignite build. I decided to go for fireball ignite over Xoph's nurture fire arrow because I felt that the ability to duel wield wands was going to give me a lot more crit and ignite damage and because I've been running an ice shot build and I feel like something a bit different. So I'm planning to go shadow over marauder and I plan to go trickster because I think its got the best balance of DoT and defense/utility but I would be willing to hear arguments for some kind of assassin/power charge/elusive shenanigans. But the big question eludes me, life or CI? I'm going to link two trees below, a 210% energy shield and a 176% life tree. Ill also take any other comments or advice. the trees don't have gear or gem links at this point, I'm still just theory crafting the routing. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 20 Jan 2020 01:48 PM PST Hello I have recently started playing PoE on Xbox one an am loving it. I started as a ranger and have made it to level 20 ( 1 day playing ). Is there a guide or video I could watch to give me some pointers on gear/builds I should be striving for for massive dps? I am currently using multi arrow with fire damage. I can do t16/shaper/elder etc fairly easily (occasional one shots), almost done Sirius, just need to learn the mechanics a bit better. Clearing maps is amazing, most bosses melt pretty easily, an increase to the single target would be great. And here's my tree (for the records, the PoB doesn't list cold resist properly, since it cannot account for the annoitment on the amulet). The PoB is set under Onslaught (since it's on almost all the time), but damage can still be improved by using Ancestral Protector (which I mostly use to help with single target damage). I doubt I'm going to reach any level higher than what I already am. I'm playing in SSF, so things like specific uniques or a six-link are very unlikely. That being said, any idea of how I could improve this build? I have been thinking about using Blood Rage, or maybe changing the crafted mod on the second claw, or maybe adding Ancestral Warchief? | Posted: 20 Jan 2020 02:27 PM PST Playing dual Cospri's CoC Ice Nova and it's feeling great mapping. Insanely fast clear. However t16 map bosses, guardians and metamorphs feel terrible. Currently level 88 with 5.6k hp. I feel like I either need to go completely glass canon and delete everything or don't boss at all. Any tips? I'm 3 points away from phase acro but I don't think that's going to save me. Maybe I am missing something obvious. [link] [comments]  | ||

But, I am struggling to stay alive currently level 60 finishing act 7 but getting really frustrated cause I am dying a lot are there any uniques i should look into to stay alive. I was looking at using storm burst or storm call or divine ire. Using arc to level but not really enjoying the skill besides the fact that its lightning. | Looking for some help finetuning a champion cyclone build Posted: 20 Jan 2020 05:26 PM PST I've definitely stalled a bit in figuring out what to upgrade. I also haven't looked at many build guides or even followed one so i'm not sure if there's some obvious aura or gem setup that i'm missing out on. I feel pretty tanky most of the time (can do lv8 sirius but I die once or twice in the last phase) , but there's some stuff like the vaal temple bosses where I feel like i'm made out of paper and I have no idea why. I've had some ideas about doing something like split arrow or tornado shot impale but I have no idea how viable it is. | Is anyone doing astral projector shock nova? Posted: 20 Jan 2020 11:00 AM PST I am leveling with it, and while it feels good, it also feels like it is just a less good purifying flame with a weird way of applying damage that doesn't give consecrated ground but shocks. It also feels like ice Nova without frost bolts and freezing, but again, with shocks, but the damage is most definitely less, but it is also more immediate and fluid than playing fb in. I have a feeling I'm either going to have to respec into vortex with the ring, or storm burst without the astral projector, or into bane. Has anyone had success with that ring self cast? I know people with totems and mines are going ham with it. Why don't I just do the thing that I know will be successful but I don't get excited about the thought of playing?? Im looking for something similar to a CoC build but stronger and faster, i've been playing a coc ball lightning that can do t16 just fine but i find the damage is not that good when dealing with metamorph and he dies so fast at 8k es. No miner and minion, preferable something that press as little button as possible I have another char for conqueror/sirus so boss fight is not needed. [link] [comments]  | ||

I used to be an exclusively melee player but this patch was rough on what I usually played so I went with Freezing Pulse totems, Ball Lightning miner, Facebreaker Cyclone champ and then Cremation Chieftain. Wanna go back to my roots for this last character. It doesn't have to be a metamorph melter or anything, just reasonable and able to do them in T16 maps. What I do like though is fast attack speed, because fast attack speed translates to clear speed for me. [link] [comments]  |
