    With all the visual clutter, this needs to be a QoL feature. Sure most bosses do not need this, but for those, which do, this is very valuable.

    Greetings Exiles.

    Like the title says, I am a D3 veteran; been playing that game since it dropped in 2012. Only in the past year and half have I even considered looking elsewhere to get my ARPG fix and never at Path of Exile. It always looked so intimidating!

    I now have 40 hours in-game and probably an equal amount of hours spent watching YouTube tutorials and guides and reading the Path of Exile wiki.

    Again, wow! This game has completely blown my socks off. I have to explain to my friends that I have spent just as much time beating the Witcher 3 campaign as I have in Path of Exile but I feel like I've barely cleared through the "tutorial" stage.

    I have rarely felt this joy of having so much to learn and master. The only equivalent I've had is probably WoW (11 year vet in that game).

    So far I've played an Arc Elementalist up to level 40 and then started a Skeleton Necromancer and am currently 55 on her. 40 hours to get 2 characters barely halfway through the campaigns! Give me 40 hours in a Diablo season and I'll be pushing endgame content in half that time (probably less).

    And even though I'm not in the PoE "endgame", I still feel challenged and I am never bored. In D3, leveling is boring AND endgame is boring. I absolutely love how PoE brings old league content along with you as you level. I know it seems to get some criticism especially from HC folks but the Metamorph mechanics are brilliant. It makes me actually want to clear ever map searching for all the bits and pieces of the metamorphs.

    I'm so excited to wrap up the Acts and start exploring the endgame content. Maps? Ubers? What are these things I hear so much about.

    And the re-playability of this game astounds me. I've only barely touched just 2 of the 18? 19? Ascendancies. I'm so excited to play other classes and their ascendancies.

    Ok. Anyway. Sorry for the rambling post. I would bet these kinds of posts are a dime a dozen; I just needed a place to express my joy. I just think this game is one of the coolest things I've ever played.

    Onwards and upwards Exiles!

    "Allies cannot die" should also be "Allies are phasing" to allow melee to get through the packs with the penalty of... being inside it

    I have pretty much fully fleshed out burning arrow chieftain, 7.9k hp with granite and wise oak rolling I get one shot all the time in t15/16

    Not by metamorphs or bosses but by all other mobs.

    Last few builds I played were cold damage and I always used temp chains, I can't really work those into the build but is there anything else I can try to stop dying so freaking often?

    I just hope that, in the patch they said they'd release later this week they make getting the 3 triggers a bit more consistent.

    It just fully demotivates me from playing to get dabbed on by RNG like this.
