[LOOTFILTER] NeverSink's itemfilter 7.8.1 - DELIRIUM + FilterBlade goodies and general improvements Posted: 13 Mar 2020 11:16 AM PDT [LOOTFILTER] NeverSink's itemfilter 7.8.0 (the 7.8.1 is a typo)Hey guys, not going to make a lengthy post, because, Delirium is up soon, but after a lot of changes, programming, technical issues (13th friday?), everything is done and should be working now. Grab it! https://www.filterblade.xyz - was updated as well. It now has explicitely listed BaseTypes for every tierlist, dedicated hidden tiers a better strictness overview and other changes (tobnac will post the changelog in the comments). Thanks a lot for the patrons and the beta testers for helping out! By the way, if you're playing as a spellslinger, I have some filters prepared for that! Check out my personalized filters, I'll be using myself for SSF-spellslinger: http://filterblade.xyz/Profile?name=NeverSink PS: it's 7.8.0 the title is a typo. Download and URLs:

Changelog
Filter and StyleversionsStrictness-es are filter configurations the affect how much/little a filter shows. The general rule is that: as you clear faster, you want to pick up less, because in the time you'd take care of a higher quantity of items, you can kill more monsters and get a higher chance at rare loot. You can start with Regular/Semi-Strict first (great for new players and leagues) and simply up the strictness from the option menu, once you feel like you want to see less.
Styles have no effect on how strict the filter is, but change the visual and audio configuration. Find one that pleases your eye most or make your own on www.filterblade.xyz
Thanks to...A special thanks to everyone who helped testing and provided feedback during the past days, you guys included! Thank you!

Posted: 13 Mar 2020 10:09 AM PDT If ever there was a valid reason for limited work time, and sending employees home it's now, yet we are still getting the new league release in a couple of hours. Let's just hope this pandemic doesn't majorly impact future leagues, and 2.0 release dates. [link] [comments] | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I feel so god damn spoiled by GGG that other games feel meh Posted: 13 Mar 2020 08:45 AM PDT I mean, let's be honest...A lot of times we have an issue, or collectively rally for a certain QoL improvement GGG has been nearly instant in communicating either their reason, or their plan to fix/change/implement. The rate at which they respond and the way they communicate with us is beyond measurable. It almost feels like the Golden Standard for me. WE WANT TO SELECT OUR MASTER MISSION ON THE MAP DEVICE... GGG Says..okay, no problem.. WE DONT WANT TO KEEP MOVING OUR TABS EVERY LEAGUE...GGG Says..you got it m8. WE....WE....WE LOVE YOU! Don't cause yourself permanent Injury! Guide to Long Gaming Sessions and How to prevent injury! Posted: 13 Mar 2020 07:18 AM PDT Greetings Exiles! With the upcoming weekend with the new league, I know there are bound to be many of you who will have a much longer gaming session than normal. It is important to remember good healthy habits and to take breaks so you do not cause yourself permanent injury and help keep your focus and endurance for this long gaming session! I have been gaming since I was 10 years old and back then ergonomics of PC use were not even considered to exist. I have caused some minor wrist injury and had to fix my posture to correct years of bad habits. I could have done way worse, but I could also have done way better. I wanted to take this chance given the corona virus pandemic and the possibility that many of you will be stuck indoors playing games for long sessions. It is these types of gaming sessions that often causes the most damage. Short term with bad ergonomics is not a big deal but long sessions can solidify bad habits and really exacerbate pain. I know because I have been doing a 9-5 desk job for 10+ years now where I was seated for 6 hours at a time in front of the computer and then I would go home and play games for another 8. I have lower back issues now that only became mitigated when I changed my posture and its slow to recover but it has gotten much better with my frequent breaks and stretches. Please consider the following guide so you can keep up in the race to exalts and red maps and not pass out like Ziz did on stream. Things to remember: Eating and Snacks You can snack while you game but make sure it isn't all junk food. Having calorie dense, sugary or high carby snacks can cause rushes followed by fatigue pretty quickly. Usually foods that are high on the glycemic index will cause these energy highs and lows so you should pick low glycemic index snacks and foods. (Common complaint on why you get hungry after eating chinese food for instances) This can help prevent over-snacking and over-eating. Use this tool to plan out some of your snacks! http://www.glycemicindex.com/ I recommend snap peas, edamame and fruit as great snacks. Veggie platters with dip or simple charcuterie (pepperoni and cheese) are very easy to make ahead of time and have out ready for long gaming sessions. Trail mix can help brain functions and provide protein. Beef jerky and other dried meats can provide a great way to smash those cravings for salt. Make sure you get at least one proper meal in. This way you can feel full and not over consume on snacks. Proper meals can easily be prepped and veggies extended by using a crockpot for instances or a slow cooker. These recipes like beef stews and roasts can extend the usage of foods that might spoil quicker than you can afford time to cook them! Take breaks. It is important to take 2-10 minute breaks. Just occasionally stand up and take a walk around your room. This can prevent fatigue and keep you more focused. Since I wont be chasing any leaderboards, I plan to at the end of the hour do pushups and situps equal to the number of levels I've gained. Sometimes extra if I found any uniques. Remember that you are going to be sitting for a very long time. Its good to keep your body moving every now and then so you can maintain focus better. Taking a break also means just not engaging your eyes on the computer screen. Its important to not strain your eyes for long periods. Take breaks and try to give your eyes a break as well. During your breaks you should look at something simple that is not a screen of some sorts. Just let your eyes rest for a few minutes. Your breaks should be:
Remember to Stretch! One of the biggest problems gamers run into is long term damage caused to hands and arms due to repetitive motions and fatigue. First, look at your hotkey layout, if you find your hands are strained to meet the needs of your builds, considering remapping so your hands do not have to do as much. For instances ive moved my flasks from 1-5 down w,e,r,f + a mouse button. this way my natural resting hand position is already on all the flasks I need and moving one of the keys from my left hand balances the actions each hands have. Having 20 actions on one hand while only doing clicking on the other is a really quick way to develop asymmetrical strains. Next stretch whenever you can! There are some really easy and fast stretches that you can do for your hands and joints and arms that will allow you to play much longer without worry of damage. http://ehs.ucsc.edu/programs/ergo/stretch.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiRC80FJbHU Stay Hydrated. It is easy to forget to drink water. Staying hydrated can help concentration and focus. Nothing beats water in this case. If you are getting thirsty then you are already dehydrated and should drink a lot of water. This will help prevent headaches and migraines from staring at the computer screen for so long. You should avoid sugary drinks while dehydrated since this can be hard on your stomach and digestive system. Posture and Pain Your posture could make your experience much better or worse. It can exacerbate pain or relieve it. It is important to have good posture for long gaming sessions since you are going to be in the same spot for long periods of time and you could experience fatigue and pain. https://esportshealthcare.com/gaming-posture/
If this all too much and actually feel very uncomfortable it is because your posture has deteriorated a bit and you are not used to using muscle groups that have become lax in your regular posture. It its going to feel uncomfortable at first and not natural to you but that because you have allowed muscle groups that should not be engaged during sitting to overwork to compensate. Try you best and even if you only improve a few aspects of your posture, it will mean a lot in the future. Pain, Coping Skills & Psychosomatic Ails It is important to avoid slouching! Avoiding the motion or activity that causes pain can sometimes cause more pain. Don't assume you are okay simply because you've adjusted your posture to avoid a particular pain. Emotions and stress effect the body. Consider your emotional state before, during, and after playing. Attempt to deal with these emotions before they become overwhelming and intense. It is easier to release a 3 out of 10 level of emotion and get back to 0 multiple times per day than it is to wait until the emotion hits maximum intensity to address it.
If you stop the pain causing activity and the pain is still there a few hours later, see a specialist If you decrease, (but not stop) the pain causing activity and the pain decreases or stops all together, slowly build up practice sessions taking breaks when you feel pain. Thats all folks! I know it is a long post but it is so important to stay healthy! Wraeclast is a brutal place already and why make it harder on yourself with permanent injury before the league gets to drive you into madness? Good Luck and most importantly, it is just a game. Have Fun and don't let a game take precedent over more important things in your life (Like studying or work :P) Remember, this is advice for your gaming career. The best time to make a change is when you are conscious of your activity. This new league is making people make conscious effort to move their schedules and get ready for a long session. This is a great time to evaluate your posture at the computer, your eating habits while gaming and any long term habits that could affect your health. Permanent damage is slow and happens over the course of years. Maybe this session you feel a little more tired than your last. Maybe your hand or wrist hurts a little more and you need to shake it out. Maybe your back twinges differently and you have to sit slightly off balance to mitigate it. All of these as it repeats itself over and over over the course of your gaming career will exacerbate and compound upon itself until it becomes apparent. Good Luck Exiles and Remember! Wait what am I supposed to remember? Oh right, I must be feeling a bit delirious. Remember exiles that Cavas needs our help with his memories and maybe we will learn a bit about the history of Wraeclast putting it together. He sure does seem important doesnt he?
