- What returning after a few years feels like
- While using the trade site, you can type "~" before anything else so it will list mods that have those words with no specific order
- [DSC] Pain Shelter, an Astral Plate with no regular affixes.
- Neat lore fact #3: Silk's severed head is seen on Arakaali during the fight and after you kill her. It also has physics.
- Steam allocating is getting harder by the patch.
- Poe.trade is way behind right now. Please, for the love of God, just suck it up and use the official site.
- 'Chilling Presence', the cluster notable of "Nearby Enemies Are Chilled", may not work. PSA if your build is relying on it heavily.
- Reminder: (Again) cold snap has not been fixed, it has been broken due to taking shortcuts (same as trap/CoC interaction)
- Dragon Ball - Kakarotto :Kame Hame Ha
- There was a post here a few weeks ago about how great the ascendancy distribution this league was... I think this is a new record %
- I just love this game.
- I'd really like to play PoE, but the frame freezes I get make the game completely unplayable.
- Conquerors of the Atlas Lore Video
- PSA: If you control+click on a master while in a hideout, it brings up their mechanic like if you pressed V while in that league
- I can't wait to 6-link my golems in PoE 2 so they can stop dying allthe time
- hangin out with dad
- 4.9k Aul with %inc life + turbo
- QoL Watchstone Suggestion - Add faded stones for ones that are already owned, and add text
- [Discussion] Trade etiquette - this needs to be said and understood by more people, especially new players
- Crashing at Character Screen after Update?
- Highlight items from inventory could be a thing
- 3.10.1d Final Patch Notes
- Easiest 50c for any new players
- What do you think is the best notable on the passive skill tree?

Posted: 15 Apr 2020 01:32 AM PDT For those that have never used it and have only heard negative things about it and that's why you won't use it, stop being a lemming and just try it out. It's very functional and does basically everything Poe.trade does. And it looks better. And it's not behind. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Apr 2020 07:03 AM PDT I've already submitted a bug report, but this may actually be quite noteworthy for some people. I have Hypothermia, which is more damage against with hits and ailments against chilled enemies, Snowstorm cluster passive which is "Gain 10% of Lightning Damage as Extra Cold Damage against Chilled Enemies", and my belt having "40% increased damage with hits against chilled enemies" reliant on this passive. My in-game damage numbers were not up to par with PoB numbers, so I ran some tests. I stood near enemies in a number of maps to let them wail on me. At no point did it seem their actual action speed was slowing in any way (neither attacks nor movement) and *no* visible effect appeared on them. I tested in PvP with a friend, ensuring they weren't running any passives that resist or outright cancel chill. At no range did an effect appear on them, either an aura nor a debuff on the debuff bar, and their actual skill and movement use did not slow at all, most notably the tooltip did not change. For now I'm assuming it's bugged and simply does not work. At no range did it seem to have any noticeable effect that chill normally should, neither within 1 radius nor 50. In short, a really cool skill for variety may just not work and I'm missing out on over 50% more damage. It may be niche but if a very large portion of your DPS was dependent on this passive, you may want to consider holding off on investing too much more into chill-reliant damage. This isn't with 200% certainty, but at the moment I don't have the liquidity to switch off of it (redoing all of my socket colors and changing my clusters) to test comparable damage on a boss. If anyone wants to, feel free to and report back with results. Edit: Forum thread for attention. At the very least I'm not crazy. So yeah, hopefully that's a quick fix! https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2836020 [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Apr 2020 08:39 AM PDT History: cold snap has always been a problem skill because it's cooldown has often been initially bypassable with another skill that has a cooldown. such as old traps or CoC. In both previous situations GGG did the exact same thing they did this league, when using a trigger skill you cannot bypass cold snaps base cooldown by using a frenzy/power charge, unlike the base skill. Players have expressed a desire many times to use the skill as it is intended, etc for CoC have the max triggerable speed be CoC cooldown as long as you are expanding a frenzy/power charge. GGG has said no to this because it is too hard to do apparently, they would have to code a specific interaction for this situation. Then we get spellslinger. My favorite build of the league was DoT spellslinger arctic breathe + spellslinger coldsnap + selfcast vortex. Was it broken damage? absolutely not, it was strictly worse than self cast because you gave up reservation that you would normally use for hatred or malevolence for spellslinger, and you gave up a support gem slot. but it was SMOOTH, I wasn't triggering 50 cold snaps a second, but I was able to drop a cold snap/arctic breathe on each pack and I loved the playstyle. Then GGG gave it the "we are too lazy to code the correct interaction so we will disable the ability to bypass the cooldown." treatment again. Stop the lazy programming and code a unique interaction for the 1 skill in the game that actually requires it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Apr 2020 01:25 PM PDT I've been playing Path of Exile off and on since it was in early beta. I'm not very good. I've played several builds and have only once gotten someone past 90 / killed Shaper with them. I'm only "ok" at trading and can do enough to get the items I need to make my build of choice pop - but usually only if it's a budget build. I've had a few bits of randomly awesome luck - like a qual 23 arc gem dropping while going an arc build, or getting some 8 or so exalteds in a single season. I'm getting better in some areas. I try to make a point to learn my build and the items that are valuable in it (and keep that tucked away in the brain bank) and maybe learn one or two mechanics of crafting or something else. I have a small guild of incredibly nice players. I might log in for 10 minutes and knock out a few maps, or an hour and watch a show in the background. It's nice. Anyway, I tried a new build this current season. I've never played a Necromancer build. It includes getting over 1000 strength for The Baron, and a wonderful cyclone + "cast while channeling" + desecrate + spirit offering combo that I just love. I love being a whirling ball that summons and immediately explodes corpses. It's really fucking funny to me and incredible how deep a build can get for its varying items and advantages. I might have some random issues with how trading works or whatever, but damn if this isn't just a really fucking fun game. I come back to it a little bit each season and it's just fun. I'd really like to play PoE, but the frame freezes I get make the game completely unplayable. Posted: 15 Apr 2020 06:17 AM PDT This is after the patch, it was before this patch, too. I've turned off the sound, changed graphic settings, and have generally tried everything, but I'm getting constant drops to 0 FPS. I haven't been able to level past 91, because I die constantly to pretty much anything since I can't fucking dodge shit when the game is frozen. I just had this happen during a blight, which I failed because even as Archmage Stormbrands I was frozen so much that my brands just disappeared. I just don't know what to do with this game anymore. QoL Watchstone Suggestion - Add faded stones for ones that are already owned, and add text Posted: 15 Apr 2020 09:36 AM PDT

Posted: 15 Apr 2020 07:39 AM PDT Do not initiate the trade when you come into someone's hideout whom you are buying from! When you whisper someone from the trade site and they send a party invitation, accept it and visit their hideout - and then wait patiently. Do not open the trade yourself. We are likely looking through dozens of stash tabs, trying to find the one particular item you ordered in a tab full of likely very similar looking items, counting boxes (often in a quad tab) from the top left corner, and likely also fielding other trade requests. I've seen this so much more often than usual lately, and perhaps for new players this needs to be understood. The proper etiquette for buying an item from another player is to join their hideout and do absolutely nothing until they open the trade. If anything - if it's been a while and you're not sure they know you're there, shoot them a polite whisper with a "hey, is the [insert item description] still available? Ready when you are." but do not just open a trade. Obviously this isn't helpful across language barriers, but just trying to get the word out, because it seems to be very much not considered by most players. Hope this was helpful to some! Happy trading, everyone. [link] [comments]
Crashing at Character Screen after Update? Posted: 14 Apr 2020 10:19 PM PDT Title. EDIT: Switching Loot Filter to DEFAULT fixes this. EDIT 2: This does fix it, however it still needs to be looked into since selecting a loot filter again after being in game still causes a crash. [link] [comments]

Easiest 50c for any new players Posted: 14 Apr 2020 11:46 PM PDT A clean Conqueror's Efficiency can easily sell for 50c due to the current purposeful harbinger meta, and it's a quest reward in Act 8. Hopefully every new player is aware of it. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Delirium/KYBlRf5 edit: be careful of the pricefixers! [link] [comments]
